Lindsay Lohan's Maserati: The Mystery Solved!

Just when you think she's hit rock-bottom, she finds some fresh dirt and keeps on shoveling down...

When Lindsay Lohan was first seen driving around in a $100,000 Maserati, I immediately figured Samantha Ronson was leasing it for her, considering that Ronson is the only one of the two currently making any sort of money (for plugging in her iPod and looking bored. Yeah, must be nice...).

Well, I was wrong.

TMZ says that the car is owned by porn producer Dennis DeSantis. Some of DeSantis' classy works include Origami So Horny. Destined to be a classic!

After Lohan's assistant busted the car by driving into a Subaru, DeSantis just shrugged it off, paid the $10,000 for it to get repaired and allowed our little train wreck to keep driving it.

DeSantis also claims he lent her the car "just because."
There's no strings attached.

PFFFFFFFFTTT! PLEASE! Even in L.A., porn producers are given the side-eye!

I wouldn't be shocked if when I was trolling the adult section of my video store, I saw Lohan's face on the cover of titles like A Prairie Whore Companion and Freaky Friday.

Dina Lohan will be so proud. No, she really will be. I wasn't being sarcastic.

I guess we all find our place in this world, eventually...

Candy Spelling Still Won't Speak to Her Daughter

Those Spelling women sure are prolific wordsmiths. Just a year after Tori Spelling's book telling her side of her feud with mother Candy Spelling entitled sTori Telling, her mother's now come out with a tome of her own. Candy's memoir, Stories From Candyland, has been published and she's hard at work promoting it (well, since she's never had to work a day in her life, and lives in a $150 million mansion with more bathrooms "than I can count" (as she told CBS2 News in NYC), she may as well do SOMETHING productive with her life).

The 63-year-old grandmother confessed to People the full extent of her estrangement from her daughter and grandchildren, "I don't see Tori and Dean anymore. I used to see Liam, but no longer. And I've never met Stella."

These people need to stop wasting their time coming up with punny titles for tell-all books and sit down and hash out their issues. Or at least have the decency to just do reality shows. I don't have time to read all this crap.

Lady Gaga Speaks!

Well, whispers, actually.

What's she whispering about? Will she be relevant in five years?
You be the judge:

Why Nicolas Cage Should Not Be In Batman 3 or any Super Hero Movie

In a recent interview with MTV Nicolas Cage volunteered his acting skills as 'any' super villain in the next Batman 3 movie. He didn't know which one he wanted to portray, he just knew he wanted to be in it. This is exactly why he should not be in it.

Why should any storyteller hire an actor that doesn't understand the material or appreciate a character. Remember when he was almost cast as Superman? Look at how hallow he was in GhostRider! Sure the movie was poorly constructed but Nicolas Cage hasn't been great in a movie since Raising Arizona. Meanwhile the importance of picking a performer for a role is what is paramount in super hero movies. Why? Because in super hero movies you as an audience member are asked (not expected) to suspend disbelief. The believability of the characters especially the antagonist and protagonist are perhaps more important than everything else including special effects and set design.

When an actor asks to be in a super hero movie for the sake of being in it you give up respect for the story. You didn't see people discussing who should play Tyler Durden on web sites prior the filming of Fight Club because traditional books are not scrutinized by the public for who is acceptable or even expected in an a role. Why? Because you can't compare comic book stories transitioning into film the same way as traditional books are.

When any comic book becomes a movie, the run up includes fan boys posting and cross posting wide and detailed discussions on who should play who in the subsequent story. X-men demanded that Patrick Stewart play Xavier. When the film brought him to the role, there was a wave of relief among every potential X-Men viewer that would come to see the film. This goes on for many characters that ended up on the big screen.

Sure it's a little bit silly to think that comic books and super hero stories are so highly scrutinized by their fan base, but it is what it is. Hollywood has done well in the past to realize this reality exists. When it fails to accept this premise, you can almost define the box office sales by the pre-Internet discussions going on before the films are released. As an aside, comic book readers don't like to see big name Hollywood stars in MOST super hero movies. They want to see the actor that most looks like their character in the story. They want to see an actor that has the mannerisms and feel for the character in the story. They want to see an actor that is most like the character, they never want to see an actor playing the character. This is why it is so hard for Hollywood to make a good super hero movie. A rare exception is Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man and even he had to not be more like Robert Downey Jr. and more like Tony Stark.

In the case of Nicolas Cage, when an actor doesn't step up and ask for a specif role because they identify or appreciate a character, they really have no business asking in the first place. Nicolas Cage doesn't belong in Batman 3 or an any super hero movie as long as he doesn't have a n appreciate for a character in it. If Nicolas Cage said to MTV, "I would like to play a villain in a super hero movie some time" this would not have been offensive. But to people that read comics this is an insult. Comic book readers watch characters they know and appreciate come to life on the big screen without much respect for those characters often enough that I felt it best I defend them today. After all, I am one of those readers.

What Were You Thinking! - Rihanna Tattoos Gun

At last count Rihanna has riddled her body with over ten tattoos, eleven is one estimate. Make that twelve.

Now there is one more. It's a gun on her ribs by tattoo artist, BangBang, whom she flew in from NY to L.A. to print her. Is it a response to being brutally smacked around by her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown? If you ask Rihanna it appears not."We've been talking about the idea for a year," referring to BangBang which he gave her last Thursday at her Hollywood mansion. She had a necklace with a gun, and I love it. I was like, "How about the gun?" In fact she was set to have two guns. But in interviews and blog postings by Bang Bang, he paints (or inks) different picture.

"I printed it out, put it on her shoulders," BangBang explains he originally designed his art for both shoulders, "it took a little bit away from her face. She's so beautiful. That's not what we're going for!"

This is terrible timing in terms of her decision making, but then again, look who she dated in the first place, and is it really over or will she protect him as many abused women often do? Let's hope not.

Rihanna shows some signs of intelligence in the matter though, in BangBang's Myspace page he tells fans, "I really wanted to put it here (on her arms)? She loved 'em. But, Cover Girl wouldn't have liked it much? and they pay the bills! Ended up doing it on her ribs."

Originally Rihanna wanted to put two guns on herself, one on each arm but stopped short due to her contract with Cover Girl Cosmetics. Still there was no stopping Rihanna from having her way on the matter. In the end it appears despite what she may say, BangBang spills the truth on why she had the gun tattoo'd on her body, "It's powerful. It's protection. At least that's my interpretation of it." Seems to me, the woman hasn't a clue.

diamond heart necklace

No. Really?

In other Lindsay Lohan news, she seems to have made yet another enemy in Hollywood. I know, shocking, right?

See, earlier this week, Long Island's favorite trainwreck told Nylon Magazine that she is thinking about giving up acting in order to do more modeling, claiming that it’s really “fun” for her, and “doesn’t feel like work” at all.

Well, model Tyson Beckford had a few words on that topic. He thinks that the only thing Lindsay knows how to do like a model is party.

Beckford, who attended a Make Me A Supermodel bash Tuesday in NYC, told Usmagazine.com, “She has the partying part down right. But I don’t think she’s got the focus. I mean, it requires a lot of focus and a lot of people think they can do it, but they really find that it’s a lot harder.”

Added the model, “Ask anyone - it’s a lot harder than it looks. I guess that’s why they call us supermodels - we make it look easy. But it’s not as easy as it looks, so I wish her all the best.”

Well, he’s got a point about Lohan’s lack of focus, and let's not even get started about her lack of looks. Once upon a time, Lohan was a VERY pretty girl, but drugs and hard partying pretty much flushed those down the toilet.

Still, being a model -- while certainly entailing much more than sitting in front of a photographer's lens -- is NOT that difficult. What's difficult about it? You wake up, get pampered, complain about your oh-so-tough life, obtain an entitlement complex, "date" a musician or two, party like the world's going to end, then marry yourself off to a rich sugar daddy when you turn 30, only to cheat on him with Mustafa the 18-year-old buff French poolboy because J. Howard Marshall doesn't lay the pipe properly (and who does, really, at 60-something years old).

You want a truly hard job?
Try being a fireman.
Or a police officer, or being in the military.
Better yet: How about you try obtaining a PhD -- y'know, READING A BOOK with words that are a little bit more profound than "Pat the Bunny," or a BOOK that doesn't have pictures of rail-thin carcasses wearing ridiculous clothing that cost as much as a monthly mortgage payment?

Somehow, strutting down the cat walk in beautiful clothes doesn’t strike me as all that difficult when compared to, say, running into a burning building, or stem cell research for Alzheimer's Disease, or risking your life on a battlefield.

Sorry, Tyson. Nice try, though.

Lindsay Lohan's Major Comeback

If you're one of Lindsay Lohan's "sicko fans" (as she referred to all three of them in a recent E! Online interview), then you will pleased to know that you don't have to go far to see her next masterpiece. You don't even have to get off the sofa, because it will be beamed directly to your TV. This generation's Gone With The Wind, Labor Pains, will make its debut on basic cable! Academy Awards, here she comes!

The movie's production company told UsWeekly that it will show on ABC Family in July (there is so much wrong with this, I don't know where to begin).

A month later, it will be thrown into a 50% off discount bin at the 99 Cent Store.

Padma Lakshmi for Hardee's

Now, I'm vegan, so y'all have to help me out: Isn't this how you're supposed to eat a cheeseburger? You sit on a stoop, hike up your dress, spread your legs and devour that thing like you haven't seen food since Clinton was President. Just like Clinton, that cheeseburger won't tell you it loves you, and won't even think of calling you the next day. And, just like Clinton, the cheeseburger left behind a little memento on her dress.

(And you all think I can't make fun of liberals! Personally, I think Clinton was the best President of the modern era, but a spade's a spade: he was far from a faithful husband...)

But on a serious note, women like Top Chef's Padma Lakshmi OBVIOUSLY don't eat things like cheeseburgers. (Those things add up...in the wallet, the waistline, AND the major arteries...) Hardee's is not catering to their demographic. This should be an obese construction worker sitting on the sidewalk with sauce dripping all over his left moob which is poking out of his overalls. Way sexier.

P.O.S. Covers Pearl Jam's classic "Why Go"

P.O.S was one of the breakthrough artists at SXSW 2009! Praised by the New York Times, Spin, MySpace, Boston Globe, Metromix and many more for his powerful live show and genre-defying new album, NEVER BETTER.

P.O.S was among a select number of artists picked to cover Pearl Jam classics for MTV, in celebration of the re-release of their debut album Ten. P.O.S's version of "Why Go" is below. The video has started spreading virally, it's currently featured on Digg.com's homepage in the "Top In All Topics" section.

Said P.O.S., "I was asked if I was interested in covering a Pearl Jam song by MTV2. I thought it was funny that they wanted to include me, being a rapper and all, but I wanted to take a shot at it. I loved Ten when it came out, rocked the tape till it popped. One of my favorites on it was Why Go, none of the bands they asked had picked it yet so I did. I though about reworking the original lyrics into a rap kind of situation, but then I was playing the melody on one of my keyboards and thought it might be more fun to just straight cover it. So I did. It was fun. I hope you likes it."

pcm's 'POP-IN' With: Jerad Finck

Independent Washington-based pop-rocker Jerad Finck recently chatted with our writer Kristyn Clarke about his music career, a new album and much more! Check out his music at his MySpace page to learn more about this new artist we're promoting!

Now, read on and get a feel for what Jerad Finck is all about:

Q: We see that you're ready to head back into the studio and start recording a follow-up to your debut album, what should fans be expecting this time around?

A: "I've done a lot more writing. I'm trying to get better as an artist."

Q: You just finished up a 40 city tour, what was that experience like?

A: "The most grueling experience of my life. A lot of fun! I saw about 38-39 states, saw a lot of the country. It was crazy and a great time. We'd play a show then drive 7 or 8 hours and do it all again. We broke down at the Hoover Dam one night and was stuck there for hours one night! We'll do the next tour in late spring/early summer."

Q: What is the writing process like for you? What inspires you?

A: "It can be any kind of moment. I try to capture just little snapshots of life. Reading a book, watch someone kissing their girlfriend, you know?"

Q: Where do you see the future of music heading and where do you see yourself in that picture?

A: "The pool of musicians has gotten so huge with things like MySpace, anyone can be a musician. People just aren't really buying CD's anymore either, it seems like the death of the album. I hope not. I hope that people keep writing great records. I just try to create something that will be around for a long time. "

Q: How would you describe your music to a first-time listenener?

A: "I definitely am more pop-rock, I think. I like energy in my music. I like bands like The Beatles, Sister Hazel and Green Day that are more upbeat."

Rihanna Setting Up Home With Chris?

Rihanna and Chris Brown are moving in together.

The 'Umbrella' singer - who has been looking at multi-million dollar mansion in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles - is planning to set up home with Chris as soon as she chooses a property.

Gossip website X17Online reports: "Once Rihanna moves in to her new pad, Chris Brown will be joining her!"

Rihanna, 21, was spotted looking at properties in the exclusive area - where celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Nicole Richie and Cameron Diaz live - on Monday (23.03.09).
Among the houses she viewed were a $6.5 million four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom property with glass walls, a swimming pool, outdoor theatre and a large garden.

The singer also visited Christina Aguilera's former home, which boasts four bedrooms and seven bathrooms and costs $6.9 million.

Her next stop was Jerry Seinfeld's old house, which is on the market for $6.2 million and has three bedrooms, five bathrooms, a gym and swimming pool.

Real estate agent Russ Filice said: "The house has incredible views, a contemporary pool and is very private.

"Rihanna has just started her search for a house. She was in a great mood. Her questions were centered around her lifestyle in the house - how she could entertain, how private it is."
Chris has been charged with felony assault and making criminal threats following his alleged attack on Rihanna last month.

He is yet to enter a plea and is due in court for an arraignment hearing on April 6. If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison.

Nick Cannon Plans Eagle Surprise

Nick Cannon wants to give his wife Mariah Carey a "bald eagle".

The US rapper - who married the 'Touch My Body' singer last April - has revealed he is planning to give his wife a surprise gift for her 39th birthday on Friday (27.03.09).

But Mariah might be in for a shock, because as well being an endangered species, a "bald eagle" is also a slang term for someone with shaved pubic hair.

When asked what he was going to buy Mariah, Nick laughed: "I think I was going to get her a bald eagle or something. Yeah, they sell them bald eagles still right?"

Impressed by his own quip, Nick, 28, has named himself the "chairman of comedy".
He laughed: "Here's how we do it. I'm the chairman of comedy. Like any joke, I get money off of anybody telling jokes, from any joke ever told."

Nick is set to host the upcoming series of US TV show 'America's Got Talent'.

Jennifer Aniston Unlucky in Love

Just recently we heard how Jennifer Aniston is single once again after dumping her toyboy lover John Mayer who, it seems, would rather spend time on Twitter than with her.
We heard how he had been avoiding her – ignoring her calls and shunning her emails. And just when we thought Jen had finally found someone who could begin to match up to Brad Pitt. How wrong could we be?

As the woman who brought us the loveable Rachel Green in Friends, we couldn’t help but feel happy for her when she married Brad in 2000 – even if we were all green with envy. We watched their fairytale romance progress and then sadly crash and burn. Hollywood’s golden couple were no more.

When Brad and Angelina Jolie became official in 2005 after first meeting on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith, our hearts went out to Jen; even more so when Ange announced that she was pregnant with their first child Shiloh Nouvel. Seeing pictures of the happy family plastered on every magazine going must have hurt.

Jen seemed to turn a corner when she met Vince Vaughn while filming the ironically titled film The Break Up. Talking about him at the time she said: “He literally brought me back to life. My first gasp of air was a big laugh. It was great.” However, as bad luck again would have it, the pair split in 2006 after more than a year together. Jen said that the relationship had ran its course.
In 2008, she met musician Mayer, 31, at an Oscar party. We had high hopes for her, but after a whirlwind romance, it looks like Jen’s desperation to be a mum gave Mayer cold feet. At 40, Jen feels her biological clock is ticking at a rapid pace, with sources saying that she regrets not starting a family with Brad when she had the chance.

Experiencing such heart-ache has made Jen much more aware, if a little cynical, of relationships. Speaking to Vogue in 2008, she said: “Whoever said everything has to be forever, that's setting your hopes too high. It's too much pressure. And I think if you put that pressure on yourself—because I did! Fairy tale! It has to be the right one!—that's unattainable."

Dog Saves Little Person

Okay, Hollywood can now stop remaking every classic known to man, because here's an epic original story that's begging to be turned into a silver-screen trilogy. It has everything you need: a lost midget, a chihuahua, a forest, helicopters, friendship and true love! And it happened in real life! Mary-Kate Olsen, call your agent!

It all started when the 45-year-old tiny lady who goes by the name of Beverley Burkitt decided to go for a morning walk with her chihuahua, Pebbles, near the camp site they were staying at in North Wales. Beverley went deep into the forest before realizing she dropped her cell phone somewhere. She also realized she was lost! Instead of getting lost even more, Beverley sat down with Pebbles and waited for help to come. They weren't found until the next morning after a ground team and helicopters were sent out.

3'8" Beverley thanks 7" Pebbles for keeping her safe and warm through the night. She told The Sun, “Pebbles lay across my legs overnight and kept me warm. I was wearing a coat but it wasn’t as warm as Pebbles. I wasn’t too worried as I knew I’d be found sooner or later."

Don't ask me how Beverley got lost in a forest. I was under the impression that little people knew their way around every forest. Like it was a gene they were born with. But thankfully, Pebbles was there. This is why you should bring a chihuahua with you wherever you go. They SAVE lives! Although, something tells me after a few hours Pebbles was starting to look at Beverley like she was a delicious chicken wing.

Ryan Reynolds is Dead on as DeadPool in New Wolverine Movie

He's wanted the role for what seems over 10 years.... Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. And the comic book character Deadpool has wanted to be Ryan Reynolds.

Sometimes the big news in movies like this isn't that Hugh Jackman is back as Wolverine again. Instead it's the introduction of other X-Men characters we all have been waiting to see.

Unlike the small cameo appearances of ultra cool characters like Colossus in the last two X-Men movies, these new characters are showcased. Characters such as Gambit and Deadpool will be pivotal character in Wolverine. In fact reshoots took place as the Deadpool character became more important to the studio execs. As he should be. Any graphic novel enthusiast worth his/her salt knows that Deadpool was part of the Weapon X program along with Wolverine.

What is great is that Ryan Reynolds is taking this graphic novel character just as serious as Robert Downey Jr. has taken Tony Stark in Ironman. Ryan sees Deadpool for what he is underneath the mask; Wade Wilson. “ I don’t even look at it like I play Deadpool in this movie. I really think I more or less play Wade Wilson, and I’m playing the creature that will eventually become Deadpool but in this movie it’s his newly formed version….so to speak.”

You want to believe that the studio recognizes that while this is Wolverine's origin, that you can't make a character like Deadpool an aside in the same way they did with Venom in Spider-Man. Deadpool is a complex character. He is the only character in all of comics that knows he is a comic book character and even Ryan Reynolds has discussed this aspect of his character in interviews. Deadpool at this point in the story is not disfigured, his character as many know his is not the same as what most readers know him as. Wade Wilson before his disfigurement won't wear the mask. Will this be the Deadpool origin as well? We will see.

Anne Hathaway Is Judy Garland

Young actress Anne Hathaway wowed the Academy Awards crowd when she showed off her song-and-dance talent alongside host Hugh Jackman. Someone was obviously paying attention to her skills and a lightbulb went off. Smart man/woman!

Movie news! Anne Hathaway has signed on to play 'The Wizard of Oz' starlet Judy Garland in both screen and stage adaptations of the biography 'Get Happy: The Life of Judy Garland.' Seems pretty accurate to us. Anyone disagree?

Zac 'I Don't Sing & Dance Anymore' Efron

Looks like Zac Efron doesn't want to just be known as a song and dance man anymore. We think it's a little too late for that. The 21-year-old actor recently dropped out of Footloose, the upcoming remake of the 1984 musical.

“Footloose is a project we’ve longed to see re-booted for a new generation. While Zac is no longer attached, we remain excited and committed to the collective brain trust of [director] Kenny Ortega, [producers] Neil Meron and Craig Zaden, who will reinvigorate the franchise,” a Paramount Pictures rep told Us Weekly Monday. “Their fresh take on the film will undoubtedly be filled with the same kind of breakout performances that we’ve come to expect from them.”

We're sure the movie may still be successful - everyone loves a good musical. But we don't know what to think about Zac sudden change of heart. He better not pull a 'Bachelor' on us and decide he wants back in again!

Look Out For That Deer, Matt Lauer

Today Show host Matt Lauer suffered a separated shoulder over the weekend in Long Island when the anchor went flying off his bike in an effort to avoid a deer. Talk about a crazy story to tell your grandkids!

The 51-year-old "Today" show host flew over the handlebars. NBC says Lauer was wearing a helmet. He expects to return to work later this week. We think that's the best excuse we've ever heard to skip a day of work!

Punked By One Tree Hill's Chad Michael Murray?

Hmm, we're sure we'll get to the bottom of this one soon! What's the deal? Thank gosh for YouTube! Carolina fans caught One Tree Hill star Chad Michael Murray telling then some shocking tidbits about his future on the CW's hit drama. It is set to come back for a new season however, CMM says they don't want him back on the show!

Check out the footage. Does it look like he's joking or serious? The CW show centers about Murray so we're thinking it may be a prank. Here's some excerpts from what he says in the video, "They don't want me...I'm not joking." "See, this is what all the fans should do online, is start blogging and being pissed off that they don't want that. That's what they should do." "They're not bringing me back next year...because they want to save money." Tell us your thoughts, would you continue watching the show is CMM leaves? Does anyone still watch the show religiously?

What Men Really Think: Spanish Man Pregnant!

It's a great headline, Spanish 'man' Pregnant. Give me a break. Men cannot bear a child. A woman can bear a child. But a woman that changes her anatomy and had hormone injects can legally call herself a man is still a woman. Now don't think I hate transsexuals. This is not about hate, it's about being honest.

In the news this week a 25 year old Spanish woman ...I mean 'man' claims to be pregnant with twins. Shouldn't the headlines read a man whom claims to be woman is with twins? Ruben Noe Coronado Jimenez (Estefania) is now going back to treatments to restart his ...er her ... er.. his? menstrual cycle. But to impress us all, he/she he has grown a beard. It's all in the marketing folks. Looks like duck, quacks like a duck, must be a duck?

Coronado retained female status to undergo fertility treatments. Oh ... so he is a she? So why not stay a she? Nah... she wants to carry the baby as a man. And why? What will that prove? One word folks... narcissist. How can I say that? Well, consider this quote from Jimenez, "It's like being born with three hands. You take advantage of them while you have them and you get rid of one of them when they get in the way."

Where is the sanity in the media these days? Am I the only person willing to report the truth? This is NOT a pregnant man. The last Asian woman that had a sex change (in part) operation is still not a man. Women are women and men are men.

What would constitute a real sex change? You know... when they can get the uterus, and everything reconstructed.... When a man can generate his own egg... When a couple can copulate and and the woman that is now a man can do the entire thing naturally ...come talk to me about a man being pregnant. This woman calling herself a man is a just another transsexual that started as a woman carrying a baby.

Want a guy to really be impressed? Have a man born a man carry a baby in his abdomen for the nine months necessary, cut him open and produce a baby... That's news. That's a pregnant man.

These ridiculous trans gender stories of pregnancy belong in the supermarket counter trash news. Hey live and let live, have the baby but don't call yourself a man when you are a woman. It can't be any more simple.

So which one of these lovely people in the photo above is Ruben Jimenez? The one on the left. Transsexuals can go bald? Maybe he really is a man.

Try To Look Surprised...

Is Linsday Lohan following in Britney Spears' footsteps?

No, not as an actress-turned-Paparazzi-magnet, but as a cash-strapped spendthrift. The New York Daily News reports that Lohan has been over-spending and now relies mostly on credit cards and girlfriend Samantha Ronson's funds. A "friend" says, "Sam really thinks Lindsay needs to learn how to become a recessionista and manage her money better.”

Evidence that Lohan has been spending above her means includes a new Rolex watch ($30,000) and Maserati (over $100,000). Plus, Lohan hasn't been in a film for the past two years, which has limited her income. She is reportedly looking for work now.

Perhaps she can follow in Spears' example and regain control of her finances. After divorce papers filed in late 2007 revealed that Spears saved none of her $737,000 monthly income, her father helped her reign in her spending and boost her income through a new album and much-marketed comeback.

Lohan's troubles underscore just how hard it can be for celebrities to live up to the luxe life they come to expect. According to financial planners, the rich and famous often fail to plan for the fact that their income is unstable, often peaking early in life, as well as stand up to the many hangers-on that ask for support.

My Little Nightmare

No, this isn't Sarah Jessica Parker as The Joker in the next Batman movie, it's the mini creature that will crash my dreams tonight and turn them into a nightmare.

Artist Mari Kasurinen took My Little Pony and transformed it into classic movie characters. Aside from The Joker, Mari took characters from Kill Bill, Edward Scissorhands, and of course, Star Wars (BLASPHEMY!).

It's pretty amazing that Mari made a creepy thing even creepier. There's no way I could shut my eyes with one of those things in my house. Even if I threw it in the trash and put a brick over the garbage can, it would find a way out. Those twinkly eyes say "I will eat your face tonight" and that slimy grin adds "And I'll like it."

Talk Show Hosts Collide

May as well call them new BFF's. Ellen DeGeneres announced on Thursday night (March 20) that she’ll finally get her wish and be on the cover of “O” Magazine. The 51-year-old talk show host has been trying to get on the cover of Oprah’s magazine.

It's been a topic that has come up during her show for weeks! Oprah made a guest appearance on Friday’s taping of the Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about “the fantastic idea.”

Ellen first broke the news on her twitter page saying, “Oprah just asked me to be on the cover of “O” magazine!” People are really Twittering like crazy. It's the new Facebook!

To make things official, Oprah made a guest appearance on Friday’s taping of the Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about “the fantastic idea.” Oprah doesn't share the cover of her magazine with just anyone. The only other person to share the cover of 'O' magazine was First Lady Michelle Obama. Watch Ellen break the news to Oprah and her reaction:

It's about time! Longtime couple Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart are engaged and have kept it very hush-hush for more than one month, reports People. Harrison, 66, proposed to the Brothers & Sisters star, 44, during Valentine's Day weekend.

Ford and Flockhart have been dating for more than seven years. The couple met over seven years ago at the 2002 Golden Globe Awards.

This will be Calista's first marriage and the third for Harrison. The pair doesn't seem to be in any rush. They have not yet set a wedding date.

Singer Natasha Bedingfield Weds

Spring seems to be a popular time for celebrity weddings already. We're just a few days in! Singer Natasha Bedingfield can't sing her famous song, "Single" anymore.

The singer tied the knot with businessman Matthew Robinson in a ceremony held in Malibu, California Saturday afternoon. The couple dated for two years before announcing their engagement in 2008. She released this statement:

"Our wedding day was everything we'd hope it would be,"
said the 27-year-old bride. "It was simple, beautiful and natural. Free from trappings or formalities, it was more about expressing our love for one another infront of those we hold dearest to us than anything else."

Jade Goody Passes Away

Sad news. She may not have been a mega superstar here in the U.S. however British reality TV star Jade Goody, 27, lost her fight and passed away of cervical cancer this weekend. In the months leading up to her death Goody gave the media unprecedented access to her private life and hired publicist Max Clifford to make sure every step of her struggle was played out in front of the nation.

She'd been all over the media, making her battle with cancer very public. After her death was announced early yesterday morning, hundreds of pople arrived at her home in Essex to leave flowers and cards. She is survived by her two young sons, Bobby and Freddie.

Bruce Willis Ties The Knot

Bruce Willis, 54, said "I do" with model and actress Emma Heming, 32, on Saturday. The pair is officially married. The small wedding ceremony took place at the actor's home in Parrot Cay, Turks & Caicos.

Also present among the small group of guests were Moore and Willis's daughters, Rumer Willis, 20, Scout, 17, and Tallullah Belle, 15. Guess who else was there? Willis' ex-wife and new husband Ashton Kutcher attended the ceremony.

Don't expect to hear any drama between the couples. This clan has one of the most amicable family relationships we've ever seen from a Hollywood divorced couple. Well done everyone, we approve! Happy hitching!

The Week in Pop Culture Review

Eight Things you may have missed:

♦ M.I.A., who performed while Ultra-Pregnant at the Grammys in February and gave birth to a healthy boy on February 14th, finally released the baby's name - Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman. I kyd U not.

♦ Our friends at the AV Club made a fantastic list of films that were designed to be franchised, but failed. On the plus side, I'm hoping that Mystery Men II still has an outside shot.

♦ Reese Witherspoon bought a pig and named it "Booker T. Washington" for her 9-year old daughter, Ava. They are no longer eating pork or bacon in the Witherspoon household either.

♦ It's absolutely fine to make a spontaneous, off-color remark about the mentally or physically challenged Special Olympics athletes, as long as you apologize within 24 hours and are in the correct political party. Kolan McConiughey, a Special Olympics competitor from Michigan, has bowled three perfect games of 300, and has challenged the new Commander-In-Chief. If dumb ol' GWB had an average of 129, like Prez O, what kind of comparisons would have been made by the media?
Just asking..

♦ Mensa announced the TOP 50 American Websites. PCM didn't make the list, and my inner nerd is kind of hurt.

♦ Real Selfish Housewife of Atlanta, Kim Zolciak, who has been 'dating' Girls Gone Wild producer Joe (®the sleaziest human on Earth) Francis didn't show for a charity event for battered women. Real House-HO of Orange County Gretchen Rossi's fiance passed away in September from leukemia, and now she's shacking up with former RHOOC ex-wife Jo's, ex Slade Smiley.

♦ Recent UCLA grad, James Franco has a new page devoted to him on Facebook. "UCLA Students Against James Franco as Commencement Speaker"
The group states "Clearly, this is ridiculous. Anyone who has been in his classes knows he is an average student."

♦ My heart truly goes out to Natashia Richardson's family. This week, Jessica Lange and Dame Judi Dench also fell down.
In typical over-reactive fashion, Hollywood is expected to announce a new ribbon for Gravity Awareness.
Sometimes, bad stuff just happens.

Obama's Appearance On Leno

Appearing on "The Tonight Show," President Obama made an "uh-oh" during a coversation with the talk show host. The crowd loved him and Obama set some issues straight to the American public like the AIG bonus scandal. However, the president told host Jay Leno he'd been practicing at the White House's bowling alley but wasn't happy with his score of 129. The he rolled a gutter ball by quipping: "It was like the Special Olympics or something." Oh, boy. I'm an Obama supporter but I cringed at that one. Big Announcement from The Counting Crows

Dear Fans, Eighteen years ago, when Counting Crows signed our first record contract, we were an unknown band signed to DGC, the cool indie-flavored boutique label of Geffen Records. Our label mates were Sonic Youth, The Posies, Nirvana, The Sundays, Maria McKee and That Dog, to name a few. Bands knew each other, played on each other's records, toured together... It was a dream environment to be a musician, even for that time. A lot of things changed in seventeen years. DGC disappeared except as a logo on our records, and Geffen became one of many labels of a much larger conglomerate. Still, Geffen and Counting Crows never stopped working together and never stopped succeeding together. We made great music and together we sold a lot of records. We're still here.

But these days, it's a different world for a band than it is for a label. A lot of people think it's a tough time to be a band but we don't feel that way. The internet opens a world of limitless possibility, where the only boundaries are the boundaries of your own imagination. We want a chance to push those boundaries back as far as we can. Unfortunately, the directions we want to go and the opportunities we want to pursue are often things that our label is simply not allowed to do. We've been friends for a long time and we've worked together for a long time so they understand the direction we need to go in and we understand why they can't always go there with us. We all want what's best for everyone which is why we've decided to part ways.

Eighteen years ago, Counting Crows was just a little band from Berkeley. Geffen Records helped put us on the map and then they were our partner for almost two decades. We want to thank every person who worked hard for so many years to make us a successful band. We're going to go out now and see what the world has to offer a band with a lot of ideas and a lot of energy and, hopefully, a lot of years left in a career that's already surpassed our wildest dreams.

This is a big change for us but it's a border we've been wanting to cross for a long time so we want to celebrate it. The best way to do that seems to be to give a little something to all of you since, after all, you've been with us the whole time too. So, in the spirit of this new frontier we're entering, we offer you our homage to a certain lady who honored us last year by expressing her longtime deep and abiding worship of our band by naming her entire album after one of ours. From us to you, Live from The Royal Albert Hall in London, our tribute to Madonna: "Borderline". Dig it.

We've covered a lot of road on this ride and, as far as we're concerned, the busses still have a lot of white lines ahead of them.We are on our way. We will see you soon. We are coming, as Elton said, "From the end of the world to your town."

Natasha Richardson's Ski Accident

British actress Natasha Richardson was hospitalized after falling on a beginners trail at the famed Mont Tremblant ski resort during a lesson, the resort and published reports said Tuesday.

She is reportedly in serious condition with head trauma in a Montréal hospital. Perez Hilton has announced on his site that the actress has reportedly passed away due to these serious injuries.

So what happened? Richardson, 45, was not wearing a ski helmet when she was taking a private ski lesson on the Nansen, a beginners' run at Mont Tremblant. When she was near the bottom of the run in a section know as the flats, she fell down.

About an hour after the fall, Richardson started complaining of headaches. She went to a nearby hospital and was later transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of Sacré Coeur Hospital.

Richardson is famous for movies like "Nell," "The Parent Trap" and "Maid in Manhattan."She married actor Liam Neeson in 1994, and the couple have two sons.

Don Imus Has Cancer

"The day you find out is fine," he said. "But the next morning when you get up, your knees are shaking. I didn't think I could make it to work."

Controversial radio host Don Imus announced on the air Monday that he is battling stage II prostate cancer. WABC reports that Imus told listeners he has full faith "his doctors will beat it," but he would not reveal when he was starting treatment.

The always-outspoken Imus found himself in the center of a media storm in 2007 after he called members of the Rutgers Women's Basketball team "nappy-headed hos." He apologized, but the once prominent broadcaster was fired by CBS and MSNBC over the controversy.

The End of American Idol

Yes, you read it right. Not only has the show run out of steam, the final blow is the insider rumor that the show is FIXED! The final four have already been chosen. (See above: Gokey, Grace, Lambert, Rounds). How is all this possible?

Let's face it folks. For the most part the contestants are entertainers, not artist. We have seen over the years the questionable talent that moved up the ranks. The show has fought to prove itself a talent show and not a popularity contest and in that vain, it seems staffers from the inside are beginning to leak that information to the press. Various columnist are reporting that an American Idol staffer is seeking audience with any member of the press they can find to reveal the show has already picked its final four contestants: (see photo above - left to right) Danny Gokey, Alexis Grace, Adam Lambert, and Lil Rounds. While these four are speculated to be the final four by various publications, the American Idol staff member is attempting to prove without a shadow of doubt the show is fixed by providing talking points between producers outlining they feel Lambert and Rounds as winners would be a repeat of prior selections. The show once again backs itself into the corner of popularity contest and not talent by way of Gokey's heartbreaking story of losing his wife recently to a tragic heart surgery. Fox is playing off this sentimental note and regardless of Gokey's talent, this is factoring into to their programming.

Last year David Archuleta implied the show was fixed when in early seasons Ryan Seacrest didn't get numbers straight on votes but still knew who the finalist needed to be.

With constant news like this and past gaffes by Paula Abdul where she seemed to indicate the show was fixed...(reading notes of performances that had not taken place on TV yet) it's all adding up.
