Candy Spelling Still Won't Speak to Her Daughter

Those Spelling women sure are prolific wordsmiths. Just a year after Tori Spelling's book telling her side of her feud with mother Candy Spelling entitled sTori Telling, her mother's now come out with a tome of her own. Candy's memoir, Stories From Candyland, has been published and she's hard at work promoting it (well, since she's never had to work a day in her life, and lives in a $150 million mansion with more bathrooms "than I can count" (as she told CBS2 News in NYC), she may as well do SOMETHING productive with her life).

The 63-year-old grandmother confessed to People the full extent of her estrangement from her daughter and grandchildren, "I don't see Tori and Dean anymore. I used to see Liam, but no longer. And I've never met Stella."

These people need to stop wasting their time coming up with punny titles for tell-all books and sit down and hash out their issues. Or at least have the decency to just do reality shows. I don't have time to read all this crap.

Tori Spelling's Bathroom Dance

Tori Spelling and her son are learning a Potty Dance.

The actress, who has two children with her husband Dean McDermott, is teaching her 22-month-old son Liam a special series of moves to celebrate when he uses the bathroom.

She said: "I started potty training my son about a month ago. The Potty Dance was a saving grace. Getting him to learn it was easy - he's a big dancer.

"It was like a reward - every time he went potty, he got to do the potty dance. After he goes to the bathroom, I tell him, 'You're such a good boy!' Then he puts up his fist and shows he's ready to dance."

Tori - who also has an eight-month-old daughter Stella - revealed Liam has one particular song he loves strutting his stuff to.

The 35-year-old star added to celebrity baby blog: "He loves to dance to The Killers, and knows like every word to their new song 'Human'.

"He can't say full sentences, but he knows a word here and there, and he does movements to the different lines."

Tori Spelling Feels Weight Pressure

Tori Spelling feels under pressure to be thin in Hollywood.

The mother-of-two - who recently appeared in new spin-off show '90210' - feels she is expected to stay slim in Los Angeles, even after having children.

She said: "They scrutinise you so much. You try to be the person who says, 'Oh, I don't care,' but I feel the pressure. You're out there, your picture is in every magazine. They're looking at you from every angle, no matter what you do. You have to be careful getting out of cars now because they shoot up your skirt. Everything has to look good, and of course, there's pressure to do so. I definitely feel it."

Tori - who has a two-year-old son Liam Aaron and eight-month-old Stella with her husband Dean McDermott - found losing her baby weight was "much easier second time around."

The 35-year-old star added to Us Weekly magazine: "I keep saying this, but it's true. I think the first time I was so stressed and knew I had to lose it. This time I did it with my family.

"I didn't do a super diet fad or a workout routine. I literally did everything with my kids and my husband. Before I knew it, the weight came off."

Tori Spelling Back On 90210!

It seems actress Tori Spelling is close to finalizing a deal to reprise her role as Donna Martin in the new 90210 series. The actress may be appearing in multiple episodes on the CW's successful spin-off.

Jason Priestley, who played good-guy Brandon Walsh in the original, won’t be in front of the camera. But he will be directing the new cast of his alma mater starting later this month. His episode will air March 18.

We think the general consensus amongst 90210 diehards is that they are happy to being seeing Donna back on the small screen. Anyone have thoughts? What do we think of the return of Tori Spelling to the show? Yay or Nay?

Tori Spelling: I'm struggling to lose my baby weight

Actress wishes she looked like Jessica Alba

Tori Spelling has admitted that she feels pressure to slim down quickly like most Hollywood mums.

The actress, 35, welcomed baby Stella into the world in June, just a year after having son Liam.

And she feels guilty for not shedding her excess weight.

‘I look at pictures of myself and compare them to Jessica Alba, who had her baby 2 days before me,’ she says.

‘I’d see photos of her 2 months after and go: “Look at her!”’

But she’s grateful for the support of her husband Dean McDermott, 41.

‘The best way to lose weight is to make it a family affair,’ she tells In Touch.

‘It has changed my life. I’m embracing the fact that it’s a struggle for me to drop the pounds.

'It’s easier now because I’m not as focused on it. If you get obsessed, you’ll miss out on great moments with your children.’

Tori Spelling Backs Out of 90210

Tori Spelling has reportedly changed her mind about appearing in the new Beverly Hills 90210 spin-off show.

Spelling, who played Donna Martin in the original series, was slated to make guest appearances along side other former classmates Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth.

The actress dropped out when she found out she would be making less then her co-stars. Doherty and Garth are rumored to be earning between $35,000-50,000 per episode compared to Tori’s $10,000-20,000.

Earlier this year Spelling said that she was "excited" about the new show. She was expected return as the owner of a boutique frequented by the new group of high schoolers.

Tory Spelling: " I never thought I have a daughter"

Tori Spelling was surprised to discover she was having a second baby, but even more shocked to find out it was a girl.

“She’s a miracle,” Spelling tells OK! magazine. “I was on one pill and wasn’t feeling well, so I went off of it. Two days later, the doctor put me on another, and on that one day, we conceived. It was meant to be!”

Spelling welcomed daughter Stella Doreen on June 9 with husband Dean McDermott.

“My first thought was, ‘My god, she’s so beautiful,’” Tori gushes. “My second thought was, ‘Oh my god, she has black hair! Where did that come from?’ Liam [the couple’s 2-year-old son] has blonde hair and is very fair. She was born with black hair, very tan.”

Spelling admits she was shocked when she found out she was having a girl.

“I never thought I’d have a daughter. Dean’s first child [Jack] is a boy and then we had Liam and I thought, ‘Because I’m so girly-girly, I’ll have all boys,’” the actress said.

Dean agreed, and added, “When I saw Stella for the first time, I just bawled my face off out of pure joy. I’ve always heard that there’s nothing like that bond between father and daughter. There is nothing like it—you feel it that moment. It hit me like a ton of bricks. Little boys are awesome. They’re just like a little you. But having a little girl is something else. As a man, you just lose it.”

The magazine will be available on newsstands Thursday

Tori Spelling, 35, and husband Dean McDermott, 41, were welcomed back to Los Angeles for the third season of their Oxygen reality show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.

Tori Spelling's Hills homecoming

Tori Spelling is to star in the 'Beverly Hills 90210' spin-off.

The actress will reprise her role as Donna Martin in the new series, alongside former co-star Jennie Garth who is returning as Kelly Taylor.

She said: "Donna Martin was such a huge part of my life. It's going to be so fun to work with Jennie Garth again and see where Donna is today. When they say you can't go home again, it's not true. I'm headed back to the zip code I know best and couldn't be happier!"

When asked about her character's role in the new show, Tori added: "Donna loved designing and wanted a career in fashion. It'll be fun to explore that storyline. And, I'm sure fans will be dying to know if she's still married to David!"

A spokesperson for the show revealed: "Donna Martin will be the owner of one of the coolest stores in Beverly Hills, a shopping hot spot that is frequented by the new cast of characters."

The original show was created by Tori's late father, Aaron Spelling. The hit series ran for ten years until 2000, and Tori recently insisted her dad would have loved to see her in the spin-off.

She said: "I would love to be a part of it. I think it's a really good idea. '90210' was really the first of its kind, the first teen drama. It kind of laid the way for other shows like 'Dawson's Creek' and 'The O.C.'

"Who would I play? I would play the sexy mom obviously! Every teen drama has a hot mom - a stepmother, of course, because I couldn't possibly have a teenage daughter!"

The season finale saw Tori's character, Donna, marry long-term boyfriend David Silver, played by Brian Austin Green.

Tori Spelling returns to 90210

Another 'Beverly Hills, 90210' alum is returning to the familiar zip code. This time Tori Spelling has signed on to reprise her character Donna Martin in '90210,' The CW's spinoff of the popular 1990's soap.

'Beverly Hills, 90210' was created by Spelling's father, Aaron, and the character Donna was a good girl whose 2000 wedding to high school beau David Silver (Brian Austin Green) capped off the show in the tenth season.

"Donna loved designing and wanted a career in fashion. It'll be fun to explore that storyline," Spelling told People. "And, I'm sure fans will be dying to know if she's still married to David!"

According to a show rep, Donna will "own one of the coolest stores in Beverly Hills."

Spelling joins 'Beverly Hills, 90210' actress Jennie Garth, who is reprising her role as Kelly Taylor, who becomes a counselor at their alma mater.

"Donna Martin was such a huge part of my life. It's going to be so fun to work with Jennie again and see where Donna is today," Spelling said. "When they say you can't go home again, it's not true. I'm headed back to the zip code I know best and couldn't be happier!"

Other cast members are Rob Estes, who plays the patriarch of the clan and the principal of West Beverly Hills High. Lori Loughlin will play his wife Debbie, and Shenae Grimes will play the central character, the couple's daughter. Ryan Eggold, AnnaLynne McCord, Dustin Milligan, Michael Steger, Jessica Stroup, Jessica Walter and Tristan Wilds also have roles.

Tori Spelling in talks for new 90210

Tori Spelling is in negotiations with The CW to take part in the new Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off. She would join fellow original 90210-er Jennie Garth, who recently signed on to the show.

"Jennie is already on board for the series and we have been in touch about it," Spelling told People. "I would love to see our characters Kelly and Donna together again and get the chance to work with my friend again."

Spelling, 34, has expressed an interest in taking part in the show ever since the spin-off was announced.

"It was always my dad's dream and intention to make a new 90210 before he passed, so I know he is proud and he would be even more proud if I were a part of it," Spelling said of her father, TV producer Aaron Spelling. "I truly hope for the fans' sake that it all works out!"

A rep for the station told People: "At this point, there is nothing to report."

Julie Andrews' memoir a top-seller

Julie Andrews' new book Home: A Memoir of My Early Years was just published April 1, but it is already the 23rd best seller on Amazon.com. In "Home," the singer, actress and children's book author recalls her own childhood, prior to her rise to fame in movies including "Mary Poppins" and "The Sound of Music."

Andrews recounts the struggles of growing up in war-torn Britain, her parents divorce and the difficulties inherent in living in a family of hard drinkers. But Andrews also recalls the happier times; her childhood spent on radio and in music halls and her decision to leave home at 18 to become a star.

Andrews isn't the only celebrity with a currently successful book. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance remains a popular seller at number 24 on Amazon. His The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream is number 32.

Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul's The Revolution: A Manifesto is the 42nd best seller, despite the fact that is won't be released until the end of the month. At number 70 is Martha Stewart's Cookies: The Very Best Treats to Bake and to Share.

Also in the top 100 is a diet book by Jillian Michaels of "The Biggest Loser." Making the Cut: The 30-Day Diet and Fitness Plan for the Strongest, Sexiest You is the 75nd best seller on Amazon.

Not in the top 100? Tori Spelling's sTori Telling, for one, which was released March 11.

Celebrity News: Tori Spelling Learns How To Make A Bed

Tori Spelling only learned how to make a bed after weeks of running a bed and breakfast, according to her husband Dean McDermott. The actress - who runs the Chateau La Rue in Fallbrook, California with McDermott - overcame a privileged upbringing by doing chores around the hotel.

McDermott tells TV host Ellen DeGeneres, "I was kind of surprised that she said she never knew how to make her bed till I went to the Manor. I was like okay I get it. You have people to do all that."
