Paula Abdul's Stalker Back on American Idol?

Comedian and musician, Paul Marturano, also known as Paula Abdul's Stalker was back at American Idol Auditions this year wearing a Ryan Loves Simon t-shirt and a fake Paula tattoo serving up laughs and music with contestants and ready to audition for a second time as seen in this youtube video:

"I am not allowed to say one way or another as to if I will be on American Idol this year. "However if I ever do appear on American Idol again, I will not be singing a song for Paula." said Marturano.
According to Marturano, he was horrified when he heard of the recent events involving the death of Paula Goodspeed outside of Paula Abdul's house.

"When I originally performed the song Stalker and when I returned to the season 8 auditions of American Idol at the Izod Center in August, I had no knowledge of Paula Abdul's real stalker, Paula Goodspeed," said Marturano, when asked for comment. "I am a comedian and a musician, not a real stalker and I would like to apologize if my song caused any discomfort to Paula Abdul. I feel very bad for both the family Paula Goodspeed and for Paula Abdul."

Marturano is an accomplished pianist from Philadelphia, who appeared on American Idol and caught the nation's attention by singing a comedic song about stalking Paula Abdul in January of 2008. His audition can be viewed at his website www.paulpiano.net along with several other hilarious videos.

Marturano parleyed his American Idol appearance into success. The Stalker ringtone and his other songs are available on most major mobile carriers and he has released new audio and video versions of Stalker called Stalker 08 on Itunes with the help of producers that have worked with several major artists such as Nelly Furtado.

Last month, Marturano signed a deal with Peace Point Entertainment Group in Toronto, ON Canada to develop and pitch his television show to networks.

Marturano has used what he jokingly calls his "celebrity status" for charity, adopting homeless animals out to loving homes on a Philadelphia Radio Station and has played and appeared at several events for animals for not only his organization, Loli's Place, Inc ( www.lolisplace.com ) but for other animal organizations as well.
