Britney Spears mother Lynne has invited her daughter to the family's Independence Day celebrations at their home in Kentwood, Louisiana, later this week in a bid to try and heal their rift.However, when asked if she would be leaving Los Angeles to attend the gathering, Britney told People magazine yesterday (01.07.07): "I don't know. I like it here."
When quizzed further about whether she and her mother would be able to overcome their differences, the 25-year-old star added: "I'm praying for her right now. I hope she gets all the help she needs. In time, who knows what will happen?"
Britney was speaking outside Bel Air's Sushi House Unico, where she had dined alone on edamame beans and coffee.
