Scarlett Johansson and Josh Hartnett were spotted kissing during a romantic meal, quashing rumours they are on the verge of splitting up.The pair had been enjoying an intimate dinner at New York's lavish Cercle Rouge restaurant when they decided to finish off the evening with a public smooch.
A fellow diner told the New York Post newspaper: "They had a meal and got progressively cosier as the night went on. Then they started to kiss at their table in full view of the restaurant. They didn't really seem to care who saw."
It was widely believed that the couple's romance was on the rocks after Josh was spotted enjoying a weekend in Sydney, Australia, with his '30 Days Of Night' co-star Amber Sainsbury in November.
However, both Josh and Amber denied they were an item and were simply taking a break from shooting the horror film in New Zealand.
