The 'Bobby' star - whose apartment in Los Angeles' Sierra Towers is directly above Harry Morton's - was in New York when the pipes in her home burst, leaving Harry's home drenched last month.

"It's awkward enough for Lindsay living just above her ex at the best of times. Now it's much worse.

"There were plumbing issues and it leaked all over Harry's multimillion-dollar apartment."

Lindsay's representative confirmed the plumbing disaster, saying: "This happened while Lindsay was in New York and we find the timing odd, but the situation is being dealt with."

The 20-year-old singer-and-actress dated Hard Rock Café heir and restaurant owner Harry, 25, last summer.

The pair were said to be "inseparable" at first, but the relationship fizzled out after a few months.
