Tina Fey Honored with Mark Twain Award for Humor
Though she is probably most famous for her celebrity impersonation of 2008 vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, Tina Fey has had a long and distinguished career in the field of comedy. Tuesday night she was honored in a made-for-television ceremony at the Kennedy Center in Washington, where she received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
Fey is also beloved by women for her unique celebrity fashion style that is basically a more put-together version of the “everywoman” look. Though she can and does shine on the red carpet, in her regular life, Fey looks like someone a typical woman might know. The most successful writer and producer of her generation, Fey, 40, has also managed to remain scandal-free, a rare feat in a world where celebrity news and gossip can be brutal.
