'Hannah Montana' film set accident
Only minor injuries were sustained to extras and crew members after high winds caused an accident on the Tennessee set of the new 'Hannah Montana' movie.
During Tuesday's filming, the wind blew a projection screen into an occupied Ferris wheel, but fortunately no serious injuries were reported. Emergency personnel and law enforcement were not dispatched to the scene.
Star Miley Cyrus has just completed scenes and was not on the set at the time.
"During a break in the filming of Hannah Montana: The Movie, a minor accident occurred involving a piece of production equipment," Disney said in an official statement. "Fortunately, there were only a few minor injuries. Medical personnel have treated the extras and crew involved. None of the cast was on the set. Filming has resumed."
