Insound Relaunches Website and Introduces "Give More, Get More"

Insound.com—which not only changed the design of the site but now offers a greatly expanded selection of vinyl, silk-screened posters, t-shirts and digital downloads; making it easier than ever to shop at the only indie online store to allow customers to buy physical and digital music product in a single shopping experience. Insound has also made a concerted effort to unite the indie music and indie design worlds by offering silk-screened posters and t-shirts from the best designers working in indie music today.

On the relaunched site, the key product categories (Downloads, Vinyl, Merch etc) will each lead to their own landing pages which will feature easy-to-search sections navigable by keyword, alphabetical or editorial picks. In conjunction with the relaunch of the site, Insound will also offer over 3,000 more titles in MP3 format, including the catalogues of famed labels Sub Pop, Saddle Creek, and Epitaph that were not previously available on the site.

Not only is the design of the site changing, but Insound is also introducing a forward-thinking "Give More. Get More" campaign to change the way people think about and purchase new music. The “Give More” component is called “Show Support.” Moving forward, Insound will donate 25 cents for every MP3 album sold on its site to a young, touring band (hence “Show Support”) of the purchaser's choosing. Customers can also tip additional amounts that will be paid in full to the earmarked bands (including The Big Sleep, Headlights and more).
The “Get More” component is that for every mp3 album bought on Insound, fans will receive a free specialty mix album personally curated by the Insound staff that will include music from the most interesting and electrifying new bands (Ladyhawk, The Henry Clay People and more).
