Bow Wow - real name Shad Moss - dated the Goodies singer for a year, before they parted company in April 2006.
The 19-year-old opens his heart on new track Outta My System, where he rhymes about seeing other girls, when all he really wants is to be with his lost loved one.
He tells MTV, "It deals with a situation I was in, for sure. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to listen to that song and know what I'm talking about or who I'm talking to. That's why I did it.
"That once again deals with the price of fame."
