Jessica Alba Pulled Over By Cops

Actress Jessica Alba was pulled over by police in California on Friday (24Apr09) for driving in the wrong direction down a one-way street.

The Fantastic Four actress was approached by a cop after she was spotted driving in the opposite way to the traffic flow in Santa Monica.

So if I want to fight it (contest the ticket), do you have to show up in court? Wouldn't that be your lucky day?

Alba reportedly tried to talk her way out of being reprimanded for the blunder - but police still issued her with a ticket.

Before she drove away, paparazzi filmed the star joking with the officer, giggling and asking him, "So if I want to fight it (contest the ticket), do you have to show up in court? Wouldn't that be your lucky day?"

Jessica Simpson Eats Tony Romo

In a stunning development of bad clothing and hot bodies gone wrong... It appears Jessica Simpson has eaten her Dallas Cowboys quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo.

The real question is, Jessica! What have you done? Not only have you decided you don't love that hot body of yours and let it go to hell, you've gone with some sort of 1980's mom jeans look. Say it ain't so!

Well, at least we still have Jessica Alba. Err... I spoke too soon.

Jessica Alba's delayed reception

Jessica Alba's family attended her wedding reception on Friday (19.12.08) - seven months after she got married.

The 'Sin City' star tied the knot with Cash Warren in a secret ceremony in May this year, but had delayed celebrating their union with family and friends until now.

One guest at the party, which took place at the couple's Beverly Hills home, said: "The party was to celebrate their love and commitment to each other.

"There were no tears, just lots of happiness and love. It felt extremely special for everyone."

Both Jessica and Cash made speeches at the reception, with the groom's tribute to his wife and six-month-old daughter Honor - who was dressed in a replica of her mother's grey dress and fairy wings - said to be particularly moving.

Following words from the couple's fathers, guests were entertained by a mariachi band.

Jessica, 27, and Cash, 31, originally married at the Beverly Hills Courthouse with no guests present.

A source close to Jessica, who was heavily pregnant when she walked down the aisle, said: "Jessica and Cash's ceremony surprised even good friends.

She used to feel it would be OK to wait until after the baby was born to get married but her traditional side must have really kicked in."Cash is a wonderful guy and she really does love him."Jessica's dad Mark spoke of his happiness for his daughter, saying: "I think it is good news for her. I'm glad for her. She's a beautiful girl. I'm her dad and I'm happy for her no matter what happens."Jessica and Cash met in 2004 when he was the assistant to the director on her movie 'Fantastic Four'.

Jessica Alba's Butt

Does this look like a butt that belongs to Jessica Alba? It is. But here is what bothers me. Not that she doesn't look good in these jeans, but that press or paparazzi is condemning her for wearing them. For more photos of Jessica dressing up as one of us, hit Celebslam.com. As the name implies, they are not looking to feature positive spin on celebrities. I often wonder why sites like this even exist.

Who among us has looked good every day? And frankly this woman has a reason for wearing a regular pair of jeans, her child. We often forget that celebrities are people too. They don't get up each day deciding they want to be on camera.

Jessica Alba: Actress is the face of Club Campari's 2009 calendar

New mom Jessica Alba shows off her svelte figure as the new face of Club Campari's 2009 Campari Calendar.

The steamy photos of Alba in bathing suits, evening gowns and short shorts - were shot by famed photographer Mario Testino in Malibu earlier this year. Gruppo Campari is a renowned Italian alcohol beverage company.

"I'm usually walking around in comfy clothes, with a baby on my arm," Jess said on her beauty-on-the-beach role for the campaign, "and it's nice to dress things up and feel sophisticated, sexy, and surrounded by so much beauty."

Weekender Thursdays: Beachy Green, Proud Grandmas, & Domino Tournaments

So...all sorts of fun and interesting things happening this weekend...what better way to unwind from the stress of the recent Presidential election?

(NOTE: Unless otherwise indicated, all events take place in and around the NYC area.)

FRIDAY: Sir Roger Moore (pictured) will be at Barnes and Noble (555 Fifth Avenue @ 46th Street) signing copies of his new book, My Word is My Bond (go, obvious literary puns!) If baseball, rather than books, is your thing, swing by the Chelsea Piers to see Jon Bon Jovi, Don Mattingly, and Lorraine Bracco pay homage to the New York Yankees (this embarrassing year notwithstanding -- I blame Madonna, personally -- they're still the greatest team in New York City!). Can't do these things 'cuz your dear ol'grandma is in town? Why not enter your Nana into the Seventh Annual Your Highness Grandma Beauty Pageant? (This year's competition is at National in Brooklyn) Or, maybe she'd like a bit of Engelbert Humperdinck...you can catch him live at the Capitol One Bank Theatre in the Round in Westbury, Long Island (don't worry, tickets are still available).

SATURDAY: This is a great day to be a kid, as there's way too much to do (don't worry, parents -- like all kids, they'll find a way to complain of boredom). The Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum (pictured) makes its grand re-opening after over a year of repairs and refreshes, which included new exhibit installations, restored aircraft, a new public park-like pier, new interactive exhibits, dry-docking and a new paint job for the former USS
Intrepid. Afterwards, head on uptown to the NY Public Library (111 Amsterdam Avenue, @ 65th Street) to see programs on the newly acquired Uta Hagen papers. Or, you can catch a plane to Miami (hey, airlines, including Delta and JetBlue are having firehouse sales on flights...better enjoy them while they last!) and join the Honey Shine Mentoring Program on Miami Beach as they turn seven beach blocks of Miami's coast into a cleaner, greener environment! Of course, feel free to leave your surly teenagers behind in New York City to hear master of gore Neil Gaiman read excerpts from his classic book The Sandman; this event, presented by the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, is sure to bring out the D&D geeks (i.e., me) in droves. (Find us at the Helen Mills Theatre on West 26th Street, and bring Pez and Diet Cokes!)

SUNDAY: Catch ubermensch James Franco (pictured, *fans self*) compete against Salma Hayek, Kim Raver, Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, Jessica Alba, Molly Sims, and Jeremy Piven in the Hollywood Domino Tournament (yes, watching people play dominoes is about as fun as watching grass grow and/or paint dry, but the opportunity to ogle the hotness of my future ex-husband -- I mean, James Franco -- is all worth it. Plus, they're playing to benefit the art of the Elysium, so we can all suffer a little for a good cause...). They'll be at the Edison Ballroom on West 47th Street (appropriately, the Hell's Kitchen area...though gentrification often finds it being referred to as "Midtown West"...puh-leeze). Of course, if you can't get enough of brain-eating zombies (nice segue...), head uptown to the 92nd Street YMCA to find Neil Gaiman reading more excerpts from The Sandman. In fairness, The Sandman is the only graphic novel (comic book?) to land on The New York Times' best-seller list, so the weekend-long publicity blitz is justified.

Aaaaaaaannnnnndddd...what are YOU up to this weekend? Share here!

Clingy mother Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba refuses to leave her four-month-old daughter while filming new movie 'An Invisible Sign of My Own'.

The 27-year-old actress - who welcomed Honor, her first child with husband Cash Warren, into the world in June - is finding it difficult to leave her daughter when she goes to work.

She told People magazine: "To be honest with you, it's tough - and if it was any other movie I wouldn't be doing it. It's difficult to spend any time away from her.

"I love my daughter and she's going to be with me every day on the set."

Jessica plays a mathematics teacher who helps troubled young students in the new movie, which also stars Mackenzie Milone.

The stunning star recently revealed becoming a mother has given her life new meaning.

She said: "So far, motherhood is the best thing ever. It is exhausting but way more fulfilling than anything I have done. Everything I do now is so much more meaningful because of her."

Actress poses for Declare Yourself campaign

Thursday, 2 October 2008

Jessica Alba has been snapped wearing a plastic muzzle for a new advert.

The actress is raising awareness for Declare Yourself, a campaign encouraging young Americans to vote.

Wearing a Hannibal Lecter mask, Jess, 27, looks desperately into the camera, tears streaming down her face.

‘Only you can silence yourself,’ reads the tagline. ‘Make them hear you. Register to vote now.’

Last month she posed for a similar ad, in which she had her mouth taped shut.

The presidential election takes place between John McCain and Barack Obama on 4 November.

Jessica Alba's Hot New Body

JESSICA ALBA only gave birth three months ago - not that you would have guessed looking at her here.

Yes, the Fantastic Four beauty is officially back to her very best - her super-toned, busty body pictured working its magic in Mexico.

Sporty ... Jessica Alba

Her legions of male admirers have missed the beauty strutting around in a tiny bikini these past few months.

Now hopefully she'll be making up for lost time and we'll be seeing a lot more of her.

Though Jessica and hubby CASH WARREN have openly revealed having more children is on the agenda.

Jessica said: "I'd like to have as many children as my body will allow - and I'd adopt if I still want more children after that.

"Cash wants the same things in life. He wants to adopt and have a big family and believes in marriage forever. It can really happen if we want it to."

Jessica, there's no hurry...

SEE PICS Jessica Alba's a bondage babe

Strapped up ... Jessica Alba
Photo: Splash

JESSICA ALBA has done plenty of saucy shoots in her time - but none quite this shocking.
Plus, it's not even for a lads mag.

The Fantastic Four actress poses in this bondage gear on behalf of a campaign to encourage Americans to vote in the upcoming presidential elections.

But Jessica insists she didn't feel at all embarrassed during her racy shoot with celebrated snapper MARC LIDDEL.

She said: "It didn't freak me out at all. What I like about Marc's work is that he tells a story and brings real emotion to his pictures."

The gorgeous actress agreed to model for the campaign because it's vital young Americans get down to the polls.

Jessica added: "If you don't register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself."

One thing's for sure - Jessica is no pitbull...

Fergie & Jessica Alba @ The Democratic Convention

Many celebs (like Ben Affleck & Jen Garner) attended the final night of the Democratic National Convention. Actress Jessica Alba and Fergie were among Hollywood's finest in the crowd. Looks like they are Obama fans. The two looked to be enjoying themselves during the political evening.

It's funny to see them together! They were both spotted cheering loudly and waving their hands in the air after speeches.
