Angelina Jolie was left floored by Brad Pitt soon after they first met because she thought he'd be nothing more than a good guy she could race motorbikes with on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith.The actress quickly fell in love with the Hollywood hunk, who was married to Jennifer Aniston at the time, and she admits she still can't believe he is "more man than any man" she's ever met.
She tells style magazine Marie Claire, "I wouldn't have, from a distance, said, 'That's a man who would be an amazing, dedicated father,' or 'That's a man who truly loves helping people or whom I'd love to talk politics with.' "He's a lot more than people assume he is."
Jolie credits her partner for helping her overcome periodical dark moments in her life - just by listening to her.
She adds, "I've had that problem in my life, where if I get emotional, I tend to just go (and) sit by myself. But he is a great listener, and he has given me wonderful advice."
