Is Kate Moss Most Super Supermodel?

She's been creating celebrity fashion trends for around 20 years now, and even in her 30s is one of the most celebrated and sought after models in the world. Those are some of the reasons that fashion photographer Rankin says that Kate Moss is the best model ever.

He told Vogue.com, "She is best of the best. There is no one like Kate and I don't think there ever will be again." Fashion industry titans love seeing their pieces on Ms. Moss, because they know she will look great in them, and she'll be photographed for the whole world to see. In addition to appearing in countless photo and paparazzi pics, Moss has recently been immortalised in a portrait by British artist Keira Rathbone, who creates stunningly detailed portraits of celebrities using old-fashioned, manual typewriters.

Kate Moss Doesn't Get Rid of Old Clothes

Supermodel Kate Moss admits she can’t make herself to throw anything out of her wardrobe.

“Do I ever throw out clothes?" she said. "Definitely not! I’ve got classics.

“Keith Richards gave me a pair of black jeans he bought in Brazil in 1969 and I still wear them – they fit me perfectly."

“For my 21st birthday, Johnny Depp bought me a copy of the dress Julie Christie wore in ‘Shampoo’. He had it made and every sequin is hand-sewn. I still wear it.”

Kate – who dated Johnny in the 90s - is holding on to many of her clothes and accessories to pass on to seven-year-old daughter Lila Grace, and says her daughter already has an eye fro shoes.

“Accessories stand the test of time and you can hand them down to your children.," she told Glamour Magazine.

“Lila can walk around in heels already but I’ve told her they’re only for special occasions. I don’t want her in heels yet – she’s only seven.”

THIS year has been a hair-volution for celebrity 'dos

THIS year has been a hair-volution for celebrity 'dos.

Britney has gone from baldy to blonde babe (thanks to some SERIOUS extensions).

Rihanna hacked her luscious raven locks in to a seriously sexy chop.

Amy Winehouse resembled the inside of a haybarn with her badly bleached blonde barnet (thank goodness she went Back To Black.)

And Lily Allen went blonde, pink, brunette, short, long, black .....

But it's not just the celebs going for a change.

The average woman has 26 makeovers in a lifetime according to Boots, and the biggest reason is to boost confidence.

With Xmas flu knocking most of us for six and the credit crisis hitting our purses, we figure a little confidence boost could be just what the doctor ordered.

So take inspiration from our favourite celebrity 'dos and don'ts of the year... and don't forget to let us hair your thoughts!

Kate Moss's ring trouble

Kate Moss lost the £3,000 ring her boyfriend bought her for Christmas.

The British supermodel was given the jewellery by Kills rocker Jamie Hince - who had the silver band, which has a blue stone and is supposed to have protective powers, made for her during his band's North American tour - but misplaced it just hours after receiving it.

Kate - who is believed to have spent Christmas Day (25.12.08) with Jamie, her six-year-old daughter Lila Grace and ex-boyfriend Jefferson Hack, Lila's father - has searched all over her Cotswolds home for the missing ring but could not find it before she flew out to Thailand with Jamie and Lila.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "There was a terrible panic when Kate realised the ring had disappeared. Jamie had it made for her in Santa Fe, it is a Native American design and is meant to symbolise Kate's future happiness and Jamie's role in it.

"When Kate realised it wasn't back in its box she started scouring through bins and discarded wrapping paper looking for it. Jamie almost lost his temper when he thought they were going to miss their flight. After he got her in the car, Kate couldn't stop apologising."

Kate, 34, is spending around a week at a five-star medical spa in Thailand, which boasts four staff to every guest and 120 different treatments in a bid to de-stress.

A source previously said: "She's in the hotel's top suite, overlooking the sea, so if this doesn't sort her out, nothing will.

Mark Wahlberg: Topless Kate Moss looked like my nephew

Actor prefers his women to be curvier

Mark Wahlberg says Kate Moss’ flat chest makes her look like a boy.

But Mark, 37, wasn't impressed by her slender frame.

‘It was OK. I wasn’t into the waif thing,’ he tells Nuts. ‘She kind of looked like my nephew.

'I mean she’s beautiful – she’s a very pretty nephew – but I’m more into curvy women.’

Kate Moss: Values friends and family more then her career

Kate Moss loves her professional life but she values friends and family more than her career.

'I'm workaholic,' she admits. 'A person who likes to live day by day. But I’m a friend to my friends – I like having dinner with them and a chat. And I don’t consider myself to be a materialistic person at all. I don’t need diamonds.'

Every evening, Kate, 34, likes to put daughter Lila, 6, to bed.

'It's the best part of the day,' she says. 'I kiss her goodnight and she's so adorable. She’s my most valued treasure. I try to spend as much time as I can with her.

'She’s always after me – we both seek each other out. The worst bit is when I have to leave and she asks me: "Why do you have to go?"

'It’s very hard on her when I travel, which is why I’m never away more than two days.'

The fashionista doesn't want Lila to become a model like her mum at the age of 14 and have to deal with the pressures of being in the public eye.

'My dream is for my daughter to be happy,' says Kate. 'I want her to grow up like a normal girl, far from fame.'

Kate Moss' tropical love nest

Kate Moss is buying a Caribbean love nest.

The supermodel is set to splash out on the Puerto Rico retreat for her and The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince - after the pair rekindled their romance earlier this month.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Kate loves the Caribbean and has been investigating owning a home Puerto Rico. Now she's putting her plan into action.

"She wants somewhere very private and reckons she and Jamie could find peace and tranquillity on the island.

"It will be her special place where she can escape from the limelight."

Kate - who currently owns a £8 million home in north London and a 17th Century Oxfordshire pad - has made several changes to her lifestyle to please her musician beau.

The 34-year-old has virtually gone teetotal and vowed to tone down her partying lifestyle.

A source said: "Kate has been partying non-stop for years. At every working event she attends there is unlimited champagne available.

"She has now decided not to touch a drop of alcohol unless it's a special occasion. Since rekindling her love with Jamie she knows her leisurely drinks need to stop. Kate is older and wiser now and wants to settle down.

"Kate has decided the party girl she once was is no more."

Kate Moss sparks pregnancy rumours

Model appears to conceal her tummy on night out

Kate Moss had onlookers at a London bar on Tuesday night questioning if she's expecting again.

The supermodel was snapped wearing a loose-fitting print dress while partying at The Groucho Club – and she recently gave up drinking alcohol.

It was thought Kate, 34, was quitting boozing for boyfriend Jamie Hince, 40, who is said to have asked her to calm down her party lifestyle.

But now insiders are wondering if there's another reason for her abstinence.

Partygoers' attention was also grabbed by a huge lump on her wrist, thought to be the result of a nasty bump.

Kate has a daughter Lila Grace, 6, with ex Jefferson Hack, 37.

Solid Gold Kate Moss Statue Unveiled

A £1.5million solid gold statue of Kate Moss has gone on display at the British Museum.

The 50kg sculpture, called Siren, has been created by artist Marc Quinn.

And it will go on sale for £10,000 when the exhibition finishes.

It features Kate, 34, in a contorted shape with her legs over her head.

The installation is said to be the largest gold statue created since ancient Egyptian times.

And it sits alongside statuettes of historical Greek figures in the Nereid Gallery.

‘I thought the next thing to do would be to make a sculpture of the person who's the ideal beauty of the moment,’ Marc tells the BBC.

‘But even Kate Moss doesn't live up to the image.’

Kate Moss to give up modeling after she turns 35

Kate Moss wants to give up pouting for the cameras after she turns 35 next year.

The Croydon-born star is said to be keen to try her hand at music instead.

'She has told everyone she won't carry on modelling after she turns 35 and that fashion designing, song writing and being a singer will slowly take over,' a source tells the Sunday Express.

Kate, who frequently took to the stage with ex Pete Doherty, 29, when they were together, is said to have started writing material with The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince, 39, before they broke up.

She's thought to get her inspiration from daughter Lila Grace, 5.

'Kate says: "It's all about Lila. She knows which songs are good and which are rubbish so I go by her,"' the source adds.

Kate Moss flees fleas

Kate Moss has fled her house after it became infested with fleas. The supermodel and her boyfriend, The Kills frontman Jamie Hince, have headed to Ibiza while the London property is fumigated after her two Persian cats caught the blood-sucking parasites.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Jamie and Kate are covered in red spots and Kate won't touch him until it clears up. She's used to hangers on but this is ridiculous." This is not the first problem Kate has had with her house.

She has previously had to replace the trendy rush mat floors with plush carpet because they were giving Jamie sore feet and she has recently been having problems with her local council after neighbours complained about a stench from her drains and a crumbling garden wall.

One local resident said: "I think the wall is an accident waiting to happen. Young children walk past it every day on the way to school and it looks as if it could topple over at any time. "

There is a huge crack right through the middle of it and Kate needs to do something about it." A council spokesperson confirmed they have been examining the 34-year-old's house, saying: "The wall was inspected by our building control team and there is a problem. "We have written to the owner to tell them they need to deal with the problem."

'Coke shame' pictures of the new Kate Moss: Model Alice Dellal caught in drug scandal

As the face of lingerie brand Agent Provocateur, Alice Dellal is fast becoming the next big thing in the fashion world.

In spite of a colourful family background, Alice, 20, has so far managed to keep her reputation intact - but she now seems to have shed her clean-living image.

For the socialite model, who boasts high profile friends including James and Elizabeth Jagger and Leah Wood, is pictured in a series of curious photographs with what appears to be drug paraphernalia.

Alice replaced Kate Moss as the face of Agent Provocateur earlier this year but has also modelled for Dame Vivienne Westwood and Mango.

Friends close to the model fear that she is moving heavily into the party scene - and that it could ruin her career.

A source said: 'It's quite shocking for someone with such apparent talent to be photographed like this. It's worrying.'

Body of evidence: Alice with what appears to be a wrap of drugs

In the first picture, taken in July, Alice is shown with a friend looking up to the camera. Nearby, a suspicious white powder, believed to be cocaine, is laid out on the back of a DVD case with an Oyster card and a hollow tube.

In the second picture, taken in March at a party in south London, Alice is seen sitting on a sofa dressed in her trademark leather jacket and shirt holding what appears to be a wrap of cocaine.

Turning her back to those next to her, Alice seems more concerned with the task in hand.

Party girl: Alice, taking a tumble during a recent night out at Bungalow 8, is a fixture on London's social scene

The heiress, due to inherit an estimated £800 million, is the granddaughter of the controversial property tycoon Jack Dellal, 83, also known as Black Jack for his love of gambling tables around the world.

One of her aunts, Suzy, died from a heroin overdose while studying in Paris.

Alice follows a long line of high-profile celebrities who have modelled for Agent Provocateur.

Rising star: Alice in an ad campaign for fashion label Mango

Peaches and Moss, to name but two, have posed leaving little to the imagination.

Alice's father, entrepreneur Guy, was a former escort of Mick Jagger's ex Jerry Hall and has an interesting history.

In 1978, when he was 21, he was accused of being involved with a ring that smuggled cocaine worth £40,000 into Britain.

It was decided that he had been used by dealers and he was fined £2,500 and given a 12-month suspended jail sentence.
