Hulk Hogan is Engaged

Legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan – real name Terry Bollea – and Jennifer McDaniel, his girlfriend of nearly two years, are planning to marry after Hogan recently popped the question.

"He is engaged and very happy," a source said.

As of right now there is no known wedding date.

Hogan's engagement comes just fives months after he finalised his divorce from ex-wife Linda Bollea, after 25 years together.

After the trial ended, Linda admitted she would always love the former WWE grappler - with who she has two children, Nick, 19, and Brooke, 21 - and planned to stay in contact with him.

"The war is over," she said. "I still love him. He's the father of my children. My husband took the big step of stopping this escalating war by making the decision to put this behind us. I am grateful to him for realising that our family can be happier and stronger by working together. He and I both love our family dearly and look forward to working together to make it stronger than it has ever been. My family means the world to me."

The former couple are currently on speaking terms, but the initial stages of their divorce were bitterly fought and Hogan, 56, revealed he had thought about suicide.

In his autobiography, 'My Life Outside the Ring', Hulk wrote: "There were times when I thought that a whole bottle of pills would go down easy."

"Then I noticed the gun in my hand. I was careless with it... I kept my finger pressed right to that trigger... and if I moved that finger an inch in the right direction I would have blown my brains out."

Hogan Divorce Finalized and Sealed With A Kiss

After months of feuding wrestling star Hulk Hogan (real name Terry Bollea) and ex-wife Linda Bollea finally reached a settlement in their bitter divorce. Yesterday in a Clearwater, Florida court their 25-year marriage officially ended. Hulk kissed his ex-wife on the cheek as the finalization took place.

After everything was finalized Linda admitted that she would always love Hulk and remain in contact with him. The ex-couple has two children together, Nick, 19, and Brooke, 21.

“The war is over. I still love him. He's the father of my children," Linda said. “My husband took the big step of stopping this escalating war by making the decision to put this behind us. I am grateful to him for realizing that our family can be happier and stronger by working together. He and I both love our family dearly and look forward to working together to make it stronger than it has ever been. My family means the world to me."

A statement from Hulk echoed the same sentiments. It said, "Hulk is looking forward to moving on with his life and is very hopeful that he and Linda can maintain a friendship and work together as parents to their two children."

Terms of the divorce were not made public, but it is believed that Hulk will remain in the Florida family home, while Linda is planning to move to Los Angeles.

In 2007 Linda filed for divorce because of Hulk’s alleged affairs.

Since the she and the 55-year-old former WWE star became caught up in months of public arguments, with Hulk even saying he understood how people could be driven to murder their spouses.

Referring to O.J. Simpson - who was accused, and eventually acquitted, of murdering his wife Nicole Brown and her alleged lover Ronald Goldman in a jealous rage in 1994 - he said: “I totally understand O.J. I get it. I could have turned everything into a crime scene, like him, cutting everybody's throat."

Hulk gained fame in the 1980's as the World Wrestling Federation champion and with appearances in a string of films, including ‘Rocky III’ in which he fought the title character.

His most famous match against Andre the Giant – real name Andre Rene Roussimoff – at Wrestlemania III in 1987 drew a crowd of around 93,000 and several million TV viewers.

Brooke Hogan Ready To Get Bro Nick Bollea Well Fed When He's Sprung

Credit: Hicelebs.com

Hulk Hogan's son, Nick Bollea, will be released from jail Oct. 21, three months earlier than his original sentence. His sister Brooke says she's ready to help her brother put back on the pounds he lost in jail. "I'm going to make him anything he wants. We're just going to chow down because all he's been eating is yucky jail food."

Maybe now she and her family can get back to a normal life … well, as normal as it can be. "We're definitely one of the crazy ones," she admits of her family. "I used to always think we were the normal group of people, and it just shows you that you can't really stay away from stuff going wrong."

Yes, it has been a tough year for the Hogans. Despite the parents' current divorce battle, Brooke says she hopes the media will start focusing on more positive things once Nick's jail sentence is behind them. "They focus on things I wouldn't like them to focus on. I would love the public and the media to focus on what an adventurous kind of person I am and that I live a clean, healthy life and have fun with my friends, but that's not interesting. They like to focus on the dirt," she notes.

For now, her plan is to not pay attention to the naysayers. "It's a lot easier when you don't listen to what people say. Sometimes it gets to me, but most of the time I can just let it roll off my shoulder. The emotional baggage does add up and explode sometimes, but I try not to dwell on the negative." And, hey, at least she has a hit TV show on her hands! "We actually broke VH1's history," she says of her reality show "Brooke Knows Best." "'Hogan Knows Best' broke VH1's history, and then we broke 'Hogan Knows Best's' history. I told my dad, "Brooke knows best, b----!"

Hulk accused of stalking ex-wife

Linda Bollea has accused ex-husband Hulk Hogan of stalking her. She reportedly filed a motion in Pinellas County Court on June 30 claiming Hogan has been harassing her ever since their Nov. 2007 divorce.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Bollea claims Hogan has "intentionally and willfully" driven to their Florida "marital and beach homes" and "parked outside of the property, and waited in his car" for her.

"In addition to stalking the wife at and about these residences, husband follows the wife and her guests in his car once they leave the marital home or beach home," the document states. "Husband relentlessly and methodically follows the wife, causing her fear and anxiety for her safety at all times."

Bollea also claims in the motion that Hogan "has a history of violence" towards her "and is capable of attacking [her] at any time" - which led to her 911 call on May 22 when she noticed Hogan parked in front of their beach house.

Hogan's lawyer, David Houston, stated in a statement also obtained by TMZ that "Linda Bollea's allegations are pure fantasy, in line with her recent 911 call that has been widely played in the media."

On May 22, Linda called 911 claiming Hulk was stalking her, which Hulk vehemently denied. Since November, [Hogan] has been in Los Angeles working. The limited time that he has spent in Florida has been solely to visit his son and daughter. In addition, he has no history of violence."

Bollea's motion requests that the court "grant her relief" by amending a previously granted order so that it includes "stalking, harassment, and any and all improper and unwanted contact" by Hogan. It also asks the court to prevent Hulk from entering both the indoor and outdoor premises of their marital and beach homes.

The motion was just the latest hurdle in the couple's acrimonious divorce.

When Bollea filed for divorce, accusing Hogan of "legal shenanigans" regarding the couple's finances, Hogan heard the news from a reporter.

Just last month she also asked a judge to hold Hogan in contempt of court and imprison him until he paid his share of their $4.2 million Las Vegas condo.

Around the same time, Hogan pledged his ongoing love for Bollea, despite their contentious divorce.

"I unconditionally love my wife, even though we're not together anymore," Hogan told People. "The Linda that I know was a great mother and a great person."

Linda Hogan Claims Hulk Is Stalking Her

The acrimonious split between the Hogans has gotten even nastier.

Linda Hogan filed court documents on June 30 seeking to prevent her estranged husband from harassing her. In the documents, first reported by TMZ.com, Linda Hogan, 48, claims that Hulk Hogan, 54, "relentlessly and methodically" follows her, "causing her anxiety and fear for her safety at all times." The motion also claims that Hulk "has a history of violence" towards Linda, "and is capable of attacking [her] at any time."

In a statement, David Houston, a lawyer for Hulk (whose real name is Terry Bollea) shot back: "Linda Bollea's allegations are pure fantasy, in line with her recent 911 call that has been widely played in the media.

"On May 22, Linda called 911 claiming Hulk was stalking her, which Hulk vehemently denied. Since November, Terry Bollea has been in Los Angeles working. The limited time that he has spent in Florida has been solely to visit his son and daughter. In addition, he has no history of violence."

The documents are the latest salvo in the contentious divorce. When Linda filed for divorce in November, Hulk learned of the filing from a reporter. The couple has wrangled over assets and traded barbs, although Hogan told PEOPLE last month that he unconditionally loves Linda.

It's been a rough year for the Hogans. In addition to the split, 17-year-old Nick is serving eight months in jail for a felony charge of reckless driving, stemming from an accident that seriously injured family friend John Graziano.

Hogans receive threatening calls re. car accident

The Hogan family is reportedly on the receiving end of several threatening phone calls allegedly made by someone from the Graziano family.

John Graziano was a passenger when Nick Bollea, Hulk Hogan's son, had his car accident last year. Graziano was nearly killed and sustained permanent injuries.

Clearwater, Fla. police are investigating the phone calls, although police spokesman Doug Matthews did not reveal the family member behind the threats. He also declined to name the Hogan party on the receiving end of the calls.

Morris Weinberg, an attorney for the Hogans, has confirmed that the police have listened to the threatening messages left on his clients' voicemail, although he did not reveal the content of said messages.

"Does the family take it seriously? Yes, they do," Weinberg said.

At this time, information is still pending. No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made thus far.

Hogan's Wife Wants Him Jailed

Hulk Hogan's estranged wife wants a Florida judge to hold the wrestler in contempt for not paying his share of a $4.2 million Las Vegas condo.

Linda Bollea is asking that the court hold Hogan in contempt of court and jailed until he pays. A court order requires them to share the purchase of the condo at The Palms hotel and spa.

Bollea asked the court that Hogan be jailed in Pinellas County, the same prison where their son is serving eight-months after pleading no contest to a crash that seriously injured his friend.

Hulk Hogan's family in car accident

Former wrestler Hulk Hogan and his family were reportedly involved in a car accident in Clearwater, Florida earlier today.

According to Tampa's CBS affiliate, WTSP, Hogan, his estranged wife Linda and their daughter Brooke were involved in a seven-car accident that shut down the northbound lanes of the Bayside Bridge.

Although no one was seriously hurt, the Hogan's white Mercedes was damaged and towed from the scene, WSTP reported.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident, which occurred just before 4 p.m. The Bayside Bridge was shut down for 20 minutes and later re-opened.

This was not the first car accident for the Hogan family. Son Nick, 17, was recently sentenced to 8 months in Pinellas County jail after a November car accident - where he was reportedly street racing - critically injured his friend, John Graziano.

UPDATE: According to an official Florida Highway Patrol report, Brooke Hogan was actually at the wheel of the car, and the only other person in the car was a friend of hers.

The head-on collision occurred when 19-year-old Ronald Gallman lost control of his vehicle when attempting to change lanes. He hit Hogan's car, pushing it into a concrete wall barrier.

Both cars involved sustained approximately $3,000 worth of damage. So far no charges have been filed against either drivers.

Hulk Hogan's son sentenced to 8 months in jail

Nick Bollea, the 17-year-old son of pro wrestler Hulk Hogan, entered a no contest plea and was sentenced for charges of felony reckless driving involving serious bodily injury. The charges stem from an August 2007 car crash where Bollea's excessive speed led to critical, permanent injuries for his friend and passenger John Graziano.

Bollea had received numerous prior speeding tickets, and in court today it was revealed that his license plate, COEHSP, stands for "Capable of Eluding High Speed Pursuit."

Bollea faced up to five years in state prison if he did not take the plea agreement. Instead, the reality star of VH1's "Hogan Knows Best" was sentenced today to eight months in Pinellas County Jail, effective immediately.

During the sentencing part of the hearing, 12 witnesses said they saw Bollea drag racing at the time of the accident.

Graziano's father Ed also made an emotional plea on behalf of his son: "John was my first born son, and the first chance to carry on my family name."

Before the accident, John Graziano "was healthy, he was safe, and he was strong. He was a hero. He was a United States Marine. He was willing to put his life in harm's way to protect his country's freedom, [but] what Al Queda could not do to my son, Nick did to my son in minutes."

Ed Graziano also said his son's mental and physical condition is likely permanent, and that he will probably never be able to communicate with family and friends again.

John Graziano's father, as well as his sister, Kristen Carson, said Bollea never expressed his remorse for his role in the accident.

"We have never once heard him apologize. He has never said sorry," Carson said.

The Hogan family responded to the accusations.

"I miss John being around me all the time," Bollea said. "I know this has been extremely difficult for the Grazianos, and it has also been extremely difficult to my family, and I feel terrible about it."

While Hulk Hogan expressed his condolences, both for the Graziano family and his own, he also defended Bollea.

"Nick is not the person that he's been asked to be portrayed on TV... Nick is a good person. He is kind, he is gentle, he's compassionate, and he doesn't have a bad bone in his body," he said. "People fail to realize that Nick is still a 17-year-old child."

Prior to Judge Philip Federico sentence, he said the crash was not "an accident" and called Bollea's driving behavior "cavalier."

In addition to the 8 years behind bars, Federico sentenced Bollea to five years of probation, 100 hours of community service per year and one day monthly in "some positive framework." He also suspended Bollea's driver's license for three years and told the underage teen he could not drink alcohol.
