Singer-songwriter-actress Selena Gomez reports that she likes to keep things simple backstage at her performances, according to the latest celebrity news and gossip. The star of Wizards of Waverly Place only asks for tea and pickles. Though she has to take care of her throat, she also enjoys salty snacks.
The one unusual request Gomez makes, however, is that her favorite pair of boots be available. Her “lucky” boots are the ones she wears for all her performances because she has yet to trip in them.
The young multimedia and fashion star, though she is 18, is still keeping things pretty tame on the romance front. At last week's VMAs, she turned down the opportunity to meet Vinny from the hit reality show “Jersey Shore,” saying that her “mom would kill me!”
