Victoria Beckham whisked husband David to London for a £20,000 shopping spree and an extravagant birthday dinner yesterday (02.05.07).The 33-year-old surprised the soccer star by splashing out £16,000 on a private jet to fly him from Madrid to the capital city to celebrate his 32nd birthday in style.
Victoria first took David - who plays for Real Madrid - to bespoke tailoring district Savile Row, where she treated him to a £14,000 watch, a £4,500 suit, a pair of £1,900 handmade shoes and nearly £400 of shirts.
The former Spice Girl later took her husband - who was sporting his new peroxide blonde hairstyle - to dinner at exclusive Mayfair restaurant Cipriani where the couple were joined by friends and family.
Victoria's former bandmates Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton, 'Little Britain' comic David Walliams and David's mother Sandra - who arrived carrying gifts - were among the guests.
