Sean Penn & Natalie Portman? A couple?

Can it be true? Is the cause of Robin Wright Penn's angry divorce to Sean Penn, Natalie Portman?

Even more interesting is the broad age difference between the Sean Penn (48) and Natalie Portman (27) -- 21 years apart. Star Magazine has the couple together as early as March 17th at LA's Sunset Tower Hotel's Tower Bar.

What do they have in common beyond acting? Sex? A source is quoted, "She (Natalie) stimulates him (Sean) in ways no other person has, mentally or professionally. There's a lot more there with Natalie than any of the other girls Sean's been with." I mean what will they talk about? Her favorite musical tastes? The friends they have and activities they both do must be an obstacle as well. Natalie is a known as a great actress in her generation and so has Penn, but to throw her into a family situation abruptly will inevitably become a burden to their relationship. Sean will have a heavy price to pay for his divorce, he better hope he stays with Natalie or he can then ask himself if parting with his dedicated wife, family and money was worth it.

I have to wonder if they both thought this out before they decided to break up a family. How long will it last? How long do you think they have? I'd be interested to read any comments.

Another Celeb Divorce..

Debbie Matenopoulos, host of E!'s Daily 10, has separated from her husband of five years, music exec Jay Faires. Matenopoulos, a two time Emmy nominee and former co-host of The View is pretty upset! That's not even the worst of it though. Guess what happened? She apparently found out on the Internet along with his request to deny her spousal support. OUCH! People reports that she said:
"I am extremely saddened by the dissolution of my seven-year relationship with my husband. I am not a proponent of divorce and I believe in working things out. So you can only imagine my extreme sadness and disillusionment when I was informed of my husband's divorce proceedings, much like you were, by reading them online."

This is a shock...[/sarcasm]

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have confirmed their impending divorce.

The singer's longtime spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg said the couple had agreed to separate.

In a short statement – co-signed by Guy’s representative – she added the couple had not agreed a settlement.

It read: "Madonna and Guy Ritchie have agreed to divorce after seven-and-a-half years of marriage. They ask that the media respect their privacy" -- OH YEAH RIGHT! -- "during this difficult time."

Now that Madonna's getting a divorce, can she PLEASE also divorce that ridiculous English accent? Earth to Madonna: You are from MICHIGAN (and, if you really push it, the Lower East Side of New York City), and you fool no one with that Dick Van Dyke-style Cockney accent. Right right? Cheerio!

In the immortal words of Eddie Murphy...HALF!

Now THIS is how you do a divorce!

The Daily Mail (who frequently publishes my photos -- thanks for the money, mates, and thanks to Splash News for the hook up!) reports today that this half-house in Cambodia (birthplace of Maddox Jolie-Pitt) is the result of a divorce settlement. The erstwhile couple agreed to split EVERYTHING, uh, down the middle...including their family home.

The wife's half is still sitting on the same lot. The husband has taken his half in bits and pieces to a nearby field. The couple also decided to split their land into four parts, two for them and two for their children.

The husband cut the house in half with the help of a few friends, a saw, a hammer and chisels. The couple decided to handle the division of assets their own way because they felt court would be too expensive.

Christie Brinkley gets custody

Christie Brinkley and estranged husband Peter Cook reached a conclusion early Thursday morning in their nasty Long Island divorce trial.

The 6:15 a.m. out-of-court settlement followed a night of intense negotiations, People reported.

Brinkley was awarded sole custody of their 10- and 13-year-old children, and she also will retain the 18 Hamptons properties that were at dispute. She agreed to pay Cook $2.1 million, Robert Stephan Cohen, Brinkley's lawyer, told the court.

The former Sports Illustrated model and the architect had been married for a decade before Cook's 2006 affair with his teenaged assistant led to their split.

"Anyone who would run the risk of destroying this wonderful life, anybody that would chase a teenager — I mean, a young girl — where is his judgment?" Brinkley asked when on the witness stand.

Much of the trial focused on Cook's mistress and Internet sex liaisons, which reportedly cost in the thousands each month. Cook also testified that he gave then 18-year-old Diana Bianchi a $300,000 payoff after their trysts.

But the main issue regarded the custody of the couple's 10- and 13-year-old children.

Court-appointed psychiatrist Dr. Stephen Herman said that while Brinkley should have custody of the children, Cook should receive liberal access to them, as well. He added that both parents needed counseling for their personal issues, calling Cook a narcissist with a bottomless ego and Brinkley someone who should examine her choice in men.

Hulk accused of stalking ex-wife

Linda Bollea has accused ex-husband Hulk Hogan of stalking her. She reportedly filed a motion in Pinellas County Court on June 30 claiming Hogan has been harassing her ever since their Nov. 2007 divorce.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Bollea claims Hogan has "intentionally and willfully" driven to their Florida "marital and beach homes" and "parked outside of the property, and waited in his car" for her.

"In addition to stalking the wife at and about these residences, husband follows the wife and her guests in his car once they leave the marital home or beach home," the document states. "Husband relentlessly and methodically follows the wife, causing her fear and anxiety for her safety at all times."

Bollea also claims in the motion that Hogan "has a history of violence" towards her "and is capable of attacking [her] at any time" - which led to her 911 call on May 22 when she noticed Hogan parked in front of their beach house.

Hogan's lawyer, David Houston, stated in a statement also obtained by TMZ that "Linda Bollea's allegations are pure fantasy, in line with her recent 911 call that has been widely played in the media."

On May 22, Linda called 911 claiming Hulk was stalking her, which Hulk vehemently denied. Since November, [Hogan] has been in Los Angeles working. The limited time that he has spent in Florida has been solely to visit his son and daughter. In addition, he has no history of violence."

Bollea's motion requests that the court "grant her relief" by amending a previously granted order so that it includes "stalking, harassment, and any and all improper and unwanted contact" by Hogan. It also asks the court to prevent Hulk from entering both the indoor and outdoor premises of their marital and beach homes.

The motion was just the latest hurdle in the couple's acrimonious divorce.

When Bollea filed for divorce, accusing Hogan of "legal shenanigans" regarding the couple's finances, Hogan heard the news from a reporter.

Just last month she also asked a judge to hold Hogan in contempt of court and imprison him until he paid his share of their $4.2 million Las Vegas condo.

Around the same time, Hogan pledged his ongoing love for Bollea, despite their contentious divorce.

"I unconditionally love my wife, even though we're not together anymore," Hogan told People. "The Linda that I know was a great mother and a great person."

Anne Heche's divorce settlement

Anne Heche, 38, and her ex-husband Coley Laffoon, 34, finally reached a divorce settlement.

In the settlement, Laffoon will receive a lump sum of $275,000 plus $3,700 per month in child support - a marked decrease in the temporary $15,000 per month support he had been receiving.

Heche had recently stated that she was broke and out of work since her TV show "Men in Trees" was canceled. However, the actress will pay 75 percent of six-year-old son Homer's private school tuition. According to papers from L.A. Superior Court, Heche and Laffoon will split the cost of Homer's "agreed-upon extracurricular activities."

The two filed for divorce in February 2007. Their custody battle has been contentious, with both parties claiming the other was unfit to parent their son.

Bill Murray's marriage is over

Bill Murray's wife of nearly 11 years, 42-year-old Jennifer Butler Murray, has sued for divorce in the state of South Carolina, where she resides with their four children.

She has asked that her marriage to the 57-year-old Oscar-nominee be dissolved due to his drug addiction, physical abuse, adultery and abandonment, People has stated according to divorce papers she filed May 12 in Charleston County. She has also asked that a restraing order be placed against the actor.

While the papers do not include specifics of Murray's drug use, they do allege that he often left without telling his wife to "travel[s] overseas where he engages in public and private altercations and sexual liaisons."

According to the Associated Press, the documents also say that last November, Murray "hit [his wife] in the face and then told her she was 'lucky he didn't kill her.'"

The divorce papers, which were initially obtained by The Post and Courier of Charleston, have since been sealed by the court.

John McDougall, attorney for Bill Murray, refused to comment on the allegations, but he did say the actor "is deeply saddened by the breakup of his marriage."

"He and his wife made loving parents and they are committed to the best interests of their children," McDougall added.

Jennifer Murray's attorney refused to comment.

The couple had signed a prenuptial agreement prior to their 1997 marriage. It was included as an exhibit with the divorce papers. The agreement stipulated that both parties would waive their right to alimony or support in the case of a divorce, but that Murray would pay his wife $7 million within 60 days of the finalization.

Bill Murray received an Oscar nomination for the film "Lost in Translation," and he also starred in "Ghostbusters," "Caddyshack" and "Groundhog Day."

Star Jones is headed for divorce

Star Jones has filed for divorce from her husband of three-and-a-half-years, Al Reynolds.

It’s no secret to family, friends, and the general public that the couple have been having issues almost form the start, and so the divorce is not much of a surprise to anyone.

Well, except for maybe Jones.

The former View talk-show host made the following statement to access Hollywood concering her divorce:

“Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman.”

Jones was publicly criticized for the attention she attempted to garner for her over-the-top wedding ceremony in 2004, and it will follow suit that Star might decide to spill the details of her divorce after all. But only if she deems it a pertinent career move.

I for one can’t wait. I’m sure the 411 will be incredibly salacious. *Yawn.*

Neither party has explained the reason for the fraud allegation. It was the third marriage for both Anderson and Salomon; both have two children from their first marriages.

Singer Pink and her husband Carey Hart, a motocross racer and former Surreal Life star, have separated and are in the process of a divorce, the pop star's publicist told People Tuesday.

Pink wrote to her fans on her website and thanked them for their support. She said she still considers Hart a "good man."

"One never knows the future, but mine and Carey's just might involve beach babies and sunshine one day. Just not right now. Thanks for the concern and caring."

The couple met at the 2001 X Games and in 2005, Pink proposed to Hart during one of his races. They married in Jan. 2006 and, while there were rumors of a split over the summer, Hart said the stories were "just a bunch of trash talk."
