Melanie Griffith Goes to Rehab

Hopefully the third time will be the charm for actress Melanie Griffith, who has just started rehab stint #3. Melanie has struggled with drug and alcohol addiction since she was a teenager, so the struggle to stay sober has been a long battle for her. Apparently, alcohol is the reason for this most recent trip to the Cirque Lodge in Utah, but her publicist has only said that "she is there to reinforce her commitment to stay healthy. This is part of a routine plan that was designed between her and her doctors years ago."

However, the rumor is that Antonio Banderas, Melanie's husband of 13 years, was the one who urged her to go get help. A source claims,"The reason Melanie checked in was her husband was demanding that she get clean and sober. He told her that if she didn't get the help she needed it would be the end of their marriage." Despite his frustration with his wife's fall off the wagon, he is still being supportive and visiting her as often has he can while she recovers.

At Least She's Still Got Her Teeth!

Amy Winehouse
The count down to her ultimate demise started long ago, but Amy Winehouse is still going. Down that is. But at least she's still got her teeth. In fact they are sort of white, even and straight.

This latest batch of photos shows Amy with her make up in ruins. If you look closely (in some photos) you can't help but mistake some crusted blood and spatter, nor can you help but wonder what happens in her life away from the cameras.

We will most likely never know the hard life she has put her body through until she has passed onto another place leaving the people she partied with and left behind to write their tell all books. In the mean time all we can do is hope that as she has hit rock bottom Amy will finally clean up. The odds are against that.

Heather Locklear Enters Rehab

Actress Heather Locklear has entered a treatment facility in Arizona due to psychological issues. Locklear is the latest Hollywood star to enter rehab, it's been an ongoing trend lately, hasn't it?

The rep for the former 'Melrose Place' star says, "Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment. This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released."

Her choice to enter rehab comes at an interesting time. Her enemy and ex-BFF, Denise Richards, has been getting a lot of press lately due to the premiere of her show on E! that explains her side of the love triangle between Richards, Locklear and Charlie Sheen. Well, we wish Locklear the best! Get better!

'Jackass' star avoids prison

'Jackass' star Stephen Glover, known as Steve-O, pled guilty to cocaine possession in a deal that will allow him to avoid time behind bars.

The 33-year-old stuntman and TV personality will instead be required to complete a two-year rehabilitation program, and according to his attorney, Barry Gerald Sands, he is already in rehab.

Sands added that Steve-O is "doing great" and has been sober for 85 days.

"He is a model individual. He has changed completely. He is a sober man," Sands said.

If Steve-O completes the rehabilitation program, the case against him will be dismissed. He returns to court for his next hearing July 8, but in the mean time will remain in rehab.

The performer was arrested March 3 for vandalism and drug possession after he had an altercation with a neighbor of his Hollywood home. He was later admitted to a hospital for psychiatric treatment. In a blog post, Steve-O said it was not until his co-star Johnny Knoxville "forced" him to seek medical help that he decided to check into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to deal with his addictions.

Kirsten Takes A Break From Rehabbin'

What is a starlet in distress to do when she wants a little break from 'hard living' at the Cirque Lodge in Utah? Take a trip to everyone's favorite store Target, obviously!

Some paparazzi snapped some pictures of the casual and comfortable Dunst perusing the ailes at the fabulous super store this weekend, for a little dose of retail therapy. After the trip her and a fellow male rehabber were feeling the 'Yo quiero Taco Bell' rush and stopped by for a little weekend treat.

Amy Winehouse Unable to Attend Grammys

British singer Amy Winehouse was temporarily released from rehab on Monday, so she could apply for a US visa, where she was subsequently turned-down by the US Embassy.

The terms of her treatment dictated that the twenty-four-year-old star be under supervision at all times, and she went to the US Embassy accompanied by both her father and a nurse.

Although it is believed that she was seeking a visa so she could attend the Grammys in LA on Feb 10th, her reps issue a statements claiming "The appointment at the U.S. Embassy was made some time ago and was part of process for obtaining a visa. No decision has been made about the Grammys.”

After she was arrested in Norway last October for possession of cannabis, Winehouse was banned from the US. The star was turned down for a visa by the US Embassy in London, and will be forced to stay in rehab.

Her rep also claims that “Amy has been progressing well since entering a rehabilitation clinic two weeks ago and although disappointed with the decision has accepted the ruling and will be concentrating on her recovery.”

Winehouse has been nominated for six awards, and ironically, Amy’s single “Rehab” is up for both record and song of the year.

Kirsten Dunst is in rehab

Kirsten Dunst is the latest celebrity to enter rehab at Utah's Cirque Lodge Treatment Center. Eva Mendes also recently checked in, and Lindsay Lohan and Mary-Kate Olsen were past patients.

A source close to the party-girl actress confirmed to People that Dunst, 25, has indeed entered rehab.

When she attended the recent Sundance Film Festival, she reportedly displayed erratic behavior, and the following day she was a no-show to her own Glamour magazine party.

According to an inside source, this behavior continued when she checked in to Cirque. "She desperately needed help. She seemed to be intoxicated when she checked in because she was acting really erratic. She was extremely emotional, constantly breaking down in tears. She is not in a good place right now, but, thankfully, she’s getting the help she needs."

Representatives for the actress could not be reached for comment.

Eva Mendes in rehab

Actress Eva Mendes has reportedly been seeking treatment at Cirque Lodge in Utah for several weeks. The inpatient facility, which primarily deals with substance abuse problems, was frequented by Lindsay Lohan and Mary-Kate Olsen in the past.

"Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support. Out of respect for Eva's privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details," her representative told People today.

The thirty-three-year-old Cuban-American actress has starred in Training Day, Hitch and Ghost Rider. Formerly a Revlon spokeswoman, she is also the new face of Calvin Klein Fragrances' fall ad campaign.

Amy Winehouse says "yes" to rehab again

Trainwreck singer Amy Winehouse entered a rehab facility again today, according to her record company.

"Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors," Universal Music Group said in a statement. "She has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction and prepare for her planned appearance at the Grammy Awards. She is nominated in an incredible six categories."

Winehouse, 25, still plans to attend the Grammy Awards, although she canceled an appearance this Saturday at the NRJ Awards in France.

"Amy entered the facility by mutual agreement and continues to receive the full support of all concerned," the statement said. "Amy is the most talented and important musical artist of her generation and has made huge strides on her road to recovery. Universal Music Group wants nothing more than to see her take the time she needs to come back to full health and fulfill her incredible potential with the label."

They added: "The label has always had the best interests of Amy at heart and has been guided by her family and doctors in the last few months as to the best direction to take. All concerned feel that Amy must put her health before all other considerations and will be by her side whenever and wherever they are needed."

Winehouse, who famously said "No, no, no" to rehab, had felt pressure recently to get treatment. The Sun newspaper had published drug allegations about the singer and aired video that allegedly showed her smoking crack cocaine. Police have yet to decide whether to charge her for the depictions in the video.

"The video has been handed in to us and we are still deciding what action will be taken," a Metropolitan Police spokesman told People.

This is not the British soul singer's first stint in rehab. She spent time in a facility in August, causing her to cancel several tour dates. Only a month later she and husband Blake Fielder-Civil in Norway were arrested and fined $715 in Norway for marijuana possession.
