The Tyra Show Comes To An End

Tyra Banks announced that the fifth season of The Tyra Show will be its last. Banks ended the show because she wants to focus on her production company, Bankable Productions. She stated, "I've been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past five years."

Tyra is following Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey in an attempt to bring more positive images of women on to the big screen. On her website, she indicated that she has several projects "cooking right now." America's Next Top Model and True Beauty will continue to air although The Tyra Show is ending.

Levi Johnston Opens Up To Tyra

Well, well, well. Don't tell him too many secrets, Bristol. He'll run to Tyra Banks and tell the world his sob story faster than you can say, "Caribou Barbie."

Who is the bad guy now? I was feeling sorry for poor Bristol. Levi Johnston says ex-fiancee Bristol Palin - the mother of his 4-month-old son Tripp and the daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin - is not a very happy camper.

Most times, she's usually in a pretty bad mood. She's short. She doesn't want me around, I don't think," Levi told Banks. "She says that I can come see the baby, and that kind of thing, but won't let me take him anywhere."

Ouch! We don't think that makes the Palin family too happy. Check out what they released in a retaliation statement:

We bet Tyra is loving all the attention. Our only question (and don't get us wrong, Tyra is cool and all) is why didn't he go on Oprah?!

After 12 cycles of a minimum height requirement of 5’7” – matching the industry standard – Banks and the casting director of The CW’s hit reality series AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL are searching the U.S. for females, ages 18 to 27, of diverse backgrounds, shapes, sizes and with a height requirement of 5’7” and under.

“There have been top supermodels in the past that weren’t as tall as the industry demands, like fashion icon Kate Moss,” said Banks. “So we are changing up ‘Top Model’ for cycle 13 and making it a year for the shorter model!”

Tyra Banks Sheds 30 Pounds In Five Months

Retired supermodel Tyra Banks has lost 30 pounds in five months after photographs of her beachwear left her in tears on her U.S. TV talk show.

Banks insisted the shots of her in a bikini during a winter break were just taken from a bad angle as she launched a 'So what' campaign on her TV show and urged the tabloids to stop poking fun at stars' weight loss and weight gain.

At one point she broke down on her show, stating, "With all the self-esteem my mom instilled in me, the criticism still hurts."

But the terrible photographs forced Banks to take action - and, after months spent eating right and exercising, she has dropped 30 pounds, according to Life & Style magazine.

An insider tells the publication, "She's eating healthy foods,but they're ones she likes, so she's more apt to maintain her diet."

And she's completely revamped the food that's available to her and guests backstage at her show.

Tyra Banks: 'Younger Men Love My New Curvy Figure'

Former supermodel Tyra Banks credits her sudden popularity with younger men to her new curvy figure.

The retired catwalk star and talk show host insists she's been inundated with attention from younger men ever since she gained a more voluptuous figure.

The 33-year-old star of The Tyra Banks Show explains, "Twenty-three-year-old guys ask me out all the time. Some of them are even celebrities who come on to my show. One guy even went for my muffin top (midsection fat)."

"I was like, 'You're 10 years younger than me. You need to date Hilary Duff. Don't date me. I have a roll around my middle."

However, she insists she is now less popular with men her age, adding, "I make a good living, so men my age get a little intimidated."

Tyra Banks Recreates Her Famous Sports Illustrated Cover

Retired supermodel Tyra Banks has recreated her famous Sports Illustrated cover shot 10 years after she wowed fans by becoming the first black model to appear solo in the magazine.

But Banks had to insist that more fabric was added to the skimpy red polka dot bikini she wore for the 1997 shoot - because she estimates she has put on 20 pounds since posing for the cover.

She says, "We had to add more fabric... I looked like a stripper... when I first put it on 'cos I'd gained weight, so it was not looking right. So we just made it more modest."

The historic photo flashback will feature on Banks' hit TV talk show next week.
