Taylor Swift Surrounded by Exes at People’s Choice Awards
At Wednesday’s People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles, singer Taylor Swift, recently broken up with Jake Gyllenhaal, was in the presence of two other ex-boyfriends, Cory Monteith and Taylor Lautner. The latest celebrity gossip is that she was friendly with both of them. She was accompanied to the event by her brother, Austin Swift.
The 21-year-old appeared to be in high spirits at the show, despite sources telling Us Weekly magazine that she was “really upset” by the breakup with Gyllenhaal. Backstage Swift hung out with Selena Gomez, Ellen DeGeneres, and Drew Barrymore, among others. For the event she was decked out in two different dresses, by fashion designers J. Mendel and Mark+James for Badgley Mischka.

Taylor Swift, Gyllenhaal Pairing Intrigues Public
The apparent couplehood of singer Taylor Swift, 20, and actor Jake Gyllenhaal, 29, is celebrity news and gossip that has seriously piqued the interest of the entertainment industry’s celebrity chroniclers. First spotted together in October at a taping of “Saturday Night Live,” the two have been seen together many times since, both in New York and in Swift’s hometown of Nashville.
The latest issue of Us Weekly has the two on the cover holding hands over the Thanksgiving holiday, and sources say that the two have met each others’ famlies. Speculation is rife over what could have brought the two such seemingly different people together, with the two favorite conjectures being, “They’re promoting new projects,” and “He likes blondes.”

Taylor Swift is a fan of 50 Cent
Though their looks and musical styles are worlds apart, young pop sensation Taylor swift recently admitted to being a fan of tough-guy rapper 50 cent. She recently revealed this latest bit of celebrity news on the late night talk show Chelsea Lately. “I love 50 Cent. That’s my thing,” she told Chelsea.
Swift is also starring in an American television special Taylor Swift: Speak Now, airing Thursday. The show is mostly about her new album, but reviewers say that in addition to being commercial, it is also clever and charming and features everything from performances of some of the songs as well as a trip to a Target store to buy her own album.

Ellen DeGeneres Asks Taylor Swift about Gyllenhaal
On the episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing Monday, Ellen asks guest Taylor Swift about love, and, more specifically, about Jake Gyllenhaal, with whom Swift has been seen lately. The possible match between the two has been among the hottest celebrity news and gossip in recent days.
Part of the reason for the great interest in a possible relationship between the two is a recent disclosure by Swift that old relationships are considered fair game by her for songwriting material. DeGeneres, not getting a concrete confirmation or denial of a relationship from Swift, concludes, “Y'all are just hanging out though, right?" Swift did acknowledge that the two “hung out” together in NYC recently, but would not elaborate further.

Are Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift a Couple?
Today’s breaking celebrity news is speculation that actor Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift may be linked romantically. The two were seen spending last weekend together in New York City, where Swift brought Gyllenhaal to a taping of Saturday Night Live. Swift reportedly sat with her bodyguard at first, but once the house lights dimmed, he left, replaced by the actor.
The two were reported to have chatted quite a bit, but there were no public displays of affection. A day later, the two strolled around Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood, where Gyllenhaal’s sister Maggie lives. Neither star’s rep would confirm or deny any romantic link between the two.

Taylor Swift Fulfills Ordinary Guy’s Dream on ‘The Buried Life’
In today’s top celebrity news (that does not involve Kanye West in any way), Taylor Swift, the country / pop sensation with the “girl next door” beauty recently helped one ordinary fellow check off one important item on his “to do” list: asking the girl of his dreams for a date. On the MTV show “The Buried Life,” Duncan Penn staged an elaborate plan to meet Swift at the CMT Music Awards and ask her out on a date. She texted him the answer: “Yes.”
Swift, whose glamorous, yet understated celebrity fashion style is a favorite on red carpets, recently revealed in an interview with US Glamour magazine that she puts a lot of her personal experiences into the songs she writes. She told Glamour, “Everything that happens to me gets put into a song. For some reason, I'm really comfortable talking about my personal life in songs.”

The Taylors Split

According to UsMagazine.com, after months of dating, even though both denied it, Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner have split.
A source close to Swift told UsMagazine, "It wasn't really developing into anything, and it wasn't going to, so they decided they were better as friends. There was no chemistry and it felt contrived."
According to a source of Lautner, "He liked her more than she liked him." Ouch! Looks like Taylor Swift has broken poster boy, Lautner's heart.

Most Fascinating People of 2009

Barbara Walters has decided who the most fascinating people of 2009 are. (So we didn't have to think about it ourselves.) Those appearing on the list include reality television mother Kate Gosselin, former vice president nominee Sarah Palin, and no-pants wearing singer Lady Gaga. Others appearing on the list include FOX news anchor Glenn Beck, producer Tyler Perry, and NFL quarterback Brett Favre.
The obvious choice for most fascinating person of 2009 is America's country singing sweetie-pie Taylor Swift. Her sold out concerts and high record sales are impressive for a girl of her age. Taylor Swift became a household name after Kanye West rudely interrupted her VMA acceptance speech.
The most questionable person who made the list? American Idol runner up, Adam Lambert. Lambert hasn't made much noise thus far, but has been hyped up by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. Lambert has been in the news recently for kissing a male band member in a performance during the American Music Awards. Good Morning America canceled Lambert's appearance after this smooching incident.

Taylor and Taylor are Getting Serious!
Country singer Taylor Swift has reportedly been dating 'Twilight' actor Taylor Lautner after they met on set of their romantic comedy ‘Valentine’s Day.' Swift took Lautner out to dinner with her mom Andrea Swift on Monday night, sparking rumours their relationship is getting serious.“Are we an item? I don’t know," said Swift. "He’s an amazing guy and we’re really close. And, yep, were in a movie together and I’m really excited about seeing it.”
The 19-year-old singer can't wait to see herself looking loved-up with Lautner on the big screen. She has asked movie bosses to let them watch the an advanced version of the film in private.
She explained to CMT Radio host Cody Alan: "I haven't seen ‘Valentine's Day’ at all. So hopefully we'll get to do a private screening because we both wanna see it so bad 'cause our scene was so much fun to do."
The songstress recently admitted she was ready to start dating again following her split from Joe Jonas last October.
Taylor and Taylor were spotted together at a Los Angeles Kings hockey game last weekend.
"I love him, he's so cute," she recently admitted.
‘Valentine’s Day’ is due for release next year.

In Defense of KanYe

He's the villain; he's a monster. He does anything to bring attention to himself. He stole candy from a baby when he stole poor Taylor Swift's microphone on Sunday night. But guess what, he's a star, so everyone will pay attention to him.
KanYe West pulled an epic stunt at the 2009 Video Music Awards broadcasted on MTV. After storming the stage when Taylor Swift won an award over Beyonce, he praised Beyonce for her "best video of all time". West stomped on Taylor Swift's shining moment as the first country artist to receive a VMA.
Is anyone even suprised? West isn't famous for his model behavior (girlfriend/model Amber Rose takes care of that), he is a rapper, producer, and icon whose persona is larger than life. It is his responsibility, nay his job, to bring attention to himself, regardless of if it is positive or negative.
West did do the wrong thing, I am not advocating his behavior at all, I am simply stating that Kanye turned an interesting albeit boring telecast into national news. He also skyrocketed Taylor Swift to America's sweetheart status. People in the world who didn't know who Taylor Swift was or what kind of music she made now empathize with her because the big bad wolf blew her house down.
Although West has now apologized on the Internet, on Jay Leno, and on the phone to Swift herself, people are going to talk about how big of a jerk he is for the remainder of his career. It isn't fair to take one moment from an artist's career and punish them for it forever. HE SAID HE'S SORRY - move on people. Just think about all the good times you've had jamming to "College Dropout" or singing along to "Golddigger" and cut KanYe some slack.
Audio of President calling Kanye West Out
The audio of President Obama has been leaked. I wonder what this will do for the loving relationship between the President and the White House Press Corp? For now, we get to enjoy some behind the scenes talk in the press room.
Meanwhile it shows the President is on the side of common sense and good manners, then again, when a press corp member calls what happened to Taylor Swift the "Joe Wilson Treatment" what side of the issue would you expect him to come down on?
It started off with a press pool member asking what seemed to be an on the record question, "Were your girls as hacked off as mine were that Kanye gave Taylor Swift the Joe Wilson treatment?" to which the President responded, "I thought that was really inappropriate. You know, it's like she's getting a award - what are you buttin' in? I hear ya, I agree with ya." Continuing after some press corp joking, "The young lady seems like a perfectly nice person. She's getting her award - what's he doing up there?" Press interjects "Why did he do that?" to which the President continued with indignant disgust, "...He's a jacka--." Which drew sophomoric laughter from some press members. "I'm assuming all this stuff - where's the pool? (laughter) Come on guys. Cut the President some slack. I got a lot of other stuff on my plate."
When the President says he has other stuff on his plate, he means he doesn't want to get involved. Good for him. The press should stop asking 'unPresidential' questions if they want him to avoid more beer summits. It's clear our nation is suffering from bad manners and outbursts. The President has already held one beer summit at this rate his required constant intervention could cost our country millions. That last sentence is a joke.

Kanye Apologizes For His Stunt at the VMAs
Kanye West apologized for what he did to Taylor Swift on Jay Leno.
Kanye also wrote an apology on his blog, which read: "I feel like Ben Stiller in 'Meet the Parents' when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave."
"That was Taylor's moment and I had no right in anyway to take it from her. I am truly sorry."
He also claimed that 19-year-old Taylor's mother Andrea Swift "tore into him" backstage, demanding he apologies to her daughter.
"Taylor's mother said the same thing my mother would have said," Kanye wrote.
VMA host Russell Brand has defended Kanye, but admits his actions were out of line.
"I know Kanye, and I know he's a nice guy," Russell told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. "We all make mistakes in life. We're all people, these things are a bit silly, no one died. "
"But Taylor Swift's a young kid, isn't she? You can't make a pretty girl cry."

President Obama Weighs In On Kanye West's Drunken Fiasco at MTV VMA's

It's official. When the President calls you out, you have really sunk to a new low.
According to Terry Moran of ABC News in a tweet he posted:
TerryMoran: Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a "jackass" for his outburst at the VMA's when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential.
How official a statement this will remain depends on whether Obama wants to go on record or not. PCM can pretty much guarantee you this statement will be denied. But off the record. Wow.
Here is the latest reaction from ABC News when fellow media contacts wanted confirmation:
"In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion of the interview. This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again."

Taylor Swift and T-Pain?
The CMT awards opened with an on-screen skit with Taylor Swift. It began with a bunch of crazy dreams of things she wanted to do, starting with being in the new star trek movie, being a football player, to ending with being in a rap video with...yup you guessed it T-Pain. Taylor swift shows off her gangsta side rapping about how she's thug with T-Pain singing in the background. Maybe she pulled off the look, but the actual rapping part may be a little iffy. Do you think she pulled off the gangsta swagga?

New Taylor Swift Music Video
Taylor Swift (we love this gal!) has released the music video for her new single, “You Belong With Me.” It’s the third single from her sophomore effort, 2008’s Fearless. The album is still doing well on the charts - people freak over this country superstar!
The vid features the dance team from Hendersonville High School, the high school from which she graduated. It also features Lucas Till from Hannah Montana: The Movie, making a cameo.

Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience
Hey, I thought Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas were officially on the outs with each other? On February 27, theaters nationwide will feature Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience. Taylor Swift is a special guest in the movie, I wonder if it was filmed before the middle Jonas brother broke up with her in a text message and she proceeded to tell the world about her heartbreak? Check out this picture from the movie!

The three-dimensional film will allow fans to get closer than ever to Nick, Kevin and Joe, as cameras followed around The Jonas Brothers during last year's "Burning Up" tour. What's up with all this new 3D stuff, it's getting really big lately! It's all over the place. Will you see the new Jonas Brothers 3D movie, tell us why! Comment!

CSI: Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift, the best-selling musical artist of 2008, will guest star in an upcoming episode of the CBS Paramount Network Television and Jerry Bruckheimer Television series, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, on CBS.
Taylor will play Haley Jones, a teenaged girl whose family runs a seedy Vegas motel. Over the course of a year, Haley goes through a series of changes that have tragic consequences.
Nineteen-year-old Taylor Swift currently has singles climbing both the country and pop radio charts, and sold more albums in 2008 than any other recording artist, in any genre of music. At the age of 18, Taylor released her second studio album, Fearless, which scored the biggest-selling debut week in 2008 for a female artist in any genre, and was the year's fourth biggest debut over all. Fearless had the best-selling debut for a country title in over a year, and Taylor currently holds the Billboard all-genre record for most Top 20 debuts in a calendar year. Fearless sold more than two million copies in its first six weeks in stores, and her latest single, Love Story is in PCM's Top Ten this month.

BLASPHEMY! TREASON! MUTINY! THE HORROR...THE HORROR!
Kristen Stewart (who, thanks to Twilight, has managed to make Hayden Christiansen look like Sir Laurence Olivier), will play Joan Jett (JOAN JETT!) in the biopic The Runaways. Kristen is perfectly capable to play a dime store mannequin, but she is no Joan Jett. Kristen is probably going to get nominated for a Razzie for this performance this year even though they haven't even shot it yet.
The movie will be directed and written by music video director Floria Sigismondi (best known for her work with Marilyn Manson). Joan Jett is a producer on the movie. It will start filming sometime next year. They have to work around Kristen's shooting schedule for the Twilight sequels.
Yeah? What's next for this "star-studded" cast? Heidi Montag as Lita Ford? (I vote for Heather Chadwell -- Rock of Love 1 & 2, I Love Money, Rock of Love: Charm School -- but who goes by me?) Taylor Swift as Cherie Currie? Katy Perry as Jackie Fox?
You people have no shame...
