Most Fascinating People of 2009

Barbara Walters has decided who the most fascinating people of 2009 are. (So we didn't have to think about it ourselves.) Those appearing on the list include reality television mother Kate Gosselin, former vice president nominee Sarah Palin, and no-pants wearing singer Lady Gaga. Others appearing on the list include FOX news anchor Glenn Beck, producer Tyler Perry, and NFL quarterback Brett Favre.

The obvious choice for most fascinating person of 2009 is America's country singing sweetie-pie Taylor Swift. Her sold out concerts and high record sales are impressive for a girl of her age. Taylor Swift became a household name after Kanye West rudely interrupted her VMA acceptance speech.

The most questionable person who made the list? American Idol runner up, Adam Lambert. Lambert hasn't made much noise thus far, but has been hyped up by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. Lambert has been in the news recently for kissing a male band member in a performance during the American Music Awards. Good Morning America canceled Lambert's appearance after this smooching incident.

The Fame Kills tour killed for real!

The much hyped about Lady Gaga and Kayne West "Fame Kills" tour has been offically cancelled! There is much speculation as to the exact reason behind the cancellation some sources are claiming it was due to less than spectacular ticket sales (thanks a lot Kayne) or creative differences between the two artists, either way the tour is a no go and refunds will be given to anyone who has purchased tickets.

Word has it that Lady Gaga is still planning a tour without Kayne that will focus on hitting up smaller venues throughout the country, although personally I think she is just about ready to hit the arena market depending on who she chooses to take out on the road!

Wow, Kayne! I hope you are learning a much needed lesson from all of this, and even if it was just a ploy for publicity it is certainly backfiring on you now!

Lady Gaga, Kings of Leon top MTV Europe Music Awards

The first lady and the kings of popular music were honored with nominations from MTV's European Music Awards (EMA). Lady Gaga and Kings of Leon are both up for five EMA's this year and compete against each other in three categories. Artists from the United States appear in nearly every category.

Gaga and Kings are both nominated in the Best Song, Best Live Act, and Best World Stage Performance categories. Gaga is also up for Best New Act and Best Female. She receives stiff competition from Beyonce Knowles and Katy Perry in the Best Female category. Kings of Leon are up for Best Group and Best Rock. Beyonce Knowles is up for four awards as well.

Women are attracted to power and money. Right? Wrong. In today's modern world, all you really need to be is in close proximity. Lady Gaga really doesn't have the time to find a guy while on tour. And a woman has needs right? Her solution... "I just sleep with the guys in the band all the time because it’s easier."

At least she's honest, even if she really shouldn't be putting it out there. Lady Gaga is a great artist in the category of singing and dancing. She's lost on the art of discretion.

A Bankrupt Lady Gaga

We all love and adore Lady Gaga. Every single she puts out is a hit and her tours are a smash. So you would think she'd be rolling in the dough, right? Wrong! Apparently Gaga puts all her money in leotards and exploding bustiers. "Every dollar I earn goes on the show. Now we're finally getting to a place where it's not bankruptcy. Then again, with another tour coming up soon I'll probably be homeless again," she said.

Gaga is looking to make major profit from her upcoming tour with Kanye West. She stated, "I can't give any details, but it will be one of the most important moments in music ever. I truthfully adore Kanye. I always poke fun at him and joke around. We have a lovely creative relationship. He's so sweet. I can't say enough good things. He's undeniably brilliant," Gaga said. Lets hope she truly does turn a penny. We can't have our favorite blonde living on the streets.

Lady Gaga's Explosive Performance

Our favorite blonde, Lady Gaga, performed at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, Canada on Sunday (June 21). Of course, she captivated the audience with her fashion choices yet again - Gaga wore a bustier was rigged with pyrotechnics while she sang her hits“‘Love Game’” and ‘Poker Face.” Check out the video of her performance below (be warned, I think the cameraman was a little distracted by Gaga, so this video we found it's the best, but you get the idea!

Lady GaGa puts her John Handcock on Johnson

Did she or didn't she? It is April Fools day you know.... From the "now I've seen everything" section of life, Lady Gaga was backstage in Canada this week doing a meet an greet when an adoring male fan pulled his best naked man stunt like move and asked her to please sign his willy.

In fact he didn't just ask. He whipped it out. Her reaction was true Lady GaGa. She signed it. "I was laughing so hard I could barely breathe. Maybe it is still there - who knows? It was a permanent marker too!"

Did she care? "I feel embarrassed saying this but... I was doing a meet and greet backstage in Canada. I had enough room to write Lady GaGa."

Apparently this is the best way to meet her too since she is quite cynical to men approaching her and flirting. "I don't give them a chance to even try a chat-up line. I give them a good, firm, 'No!' before they even speak. I find that does the trick every time."

A Christina Aguilera/Lady Gaga Feud Brewing

Is another celeb feud brewing? This is a picture of pop newcomer, Lady Gaga. She does look a lot like Christina Aguilera and lots of media outlets have made comparisons between the two. When asked in a recent interview what she thought about Lady Gaga (PCM Interview) , Christina was very honest and didn't hold back.

What did you say to those on the Internet who are hinting that you borrowed Lady Gaga’s look?

You know, that’s funny that you mention that. This person [Lady Gaga] was just brought to my attention not too long ago. I’m not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I don’t know if it is a man or a woman. I just wasn’t sure. I really don’t spend any time on the Internet, so I guess I live a little under a rock in that respect.

PCM's Interview With LADY GAGA

PCM's Erin spoke to Lady Gaga recently about her new album. She was located in Chicago at the time of PCM's interview with her. Lady Gaga has been featured on MTV's The Hills most recently and is often highlighted on PerezHilton.com

The singer from New York has been performing and getting her name out there lately. Erin asked Lady Gaga how she could best describe her sound to a first time listener. "I would say it's fusion pop," she replied. Her single, "Just Dance," is getting pretty popular. She listed, "old school Bowie, The Beatles, Queen and Madonna," as some of her musical influences.
