Mary-Kate Olsen Splits with Boyfriend

Actress Mary-Kate Olsen is no longer dating her boyfriend Nate Lowman. The pair began dating in 2008 after meeting through mutual friends. A rep for Olsen confirmed that the couple has broken up. They reportedly split right before Valentines Day even though they were seen walking together in New York City on Feb. 4.

However Olsen does not seem to be too devastated by the break-up because she was spotted kissing actor Josh Hartnett last week at Weinstein Co. and Universal Pictures post BAFTA party in London.

"They were making out in a dark corridor of the party," a source told People. "Everyone danced all night." Olsen's rep denied that the two were kissing.

Whether or not she kissed Hartnett, she is not sitting around crying about the split because she was seen with sister Ashley attending shows at London Fashion Week.

Dog Saves Little Person

Okay, Hollywood can now stop remaking every classic known to man, because here's an epic original story that's begging to be turned into a silver-screen trilogy. It has everything you need: a lost midget, a chihuahua, a forest, helicopters, friendship and true love! And it happened in real life! Mary-Kate Olsen, call your agent!

It all started when the 45-year-old tiny lady who goes by the name of Beverley Burkitt decided to go for a morning walk with her chihuahua, Pebbles, near the camp site they were staying at in North Wales. Beverley went deep into the forest before realizing she dropped her cell phone somewhere. She also realized she was lost! Instead of getting lost even more, Beverley sat down with Pebbles and waited for help to come. They weren't found until the next morning after a ground team and helicopters were sent out.

3'8" Beverley thanks 7" Pebbles for keeping her safe and warm through the night. She told The Sun, “Pebbles lay across my legs overnight and kept me warm. I was wearing a coat but it wasn’t as warm as Pebbles. I wasn’t too worried as I knew I’d be found sooner or later."

Don't ask me how Beverley got lost in a forest. I was under the impression that little people knew their way around every forest. Like it was a gene they were born with. But thankfully, Pebbles was there. This is why you should bring a chihuahua with you wherever you go. They SAVE lives! Although, something tells me after a few hours Pebbles was starting to look at Beverley like she was a delicious chicken wing.

Mary-Kate Olsen: The twins were motivated by sweets when they were child actors

Mary-Kate Olsen and sister Ashley were motivated by sweets when they were child actors.

The twins shot to fame playing the joint role of toddler Michelle Elizabeth Tanner on American sitcom Full House from 1987 to 1995.

And to make sure they behaved during the scenes, the crew would dangle candy in front of them.

‘[They] would get little gummy bears, cut into three pieces,’ Mary-Kate, 22, tells Interview Magazine. ‘And we'd crawl to the gummy bear or reach for it...The outtakes of Full House are pretty funny.’

Please, somebody smack her. HARD.

While most of us are selling plasma, emptying out your basement on eBay, and working seasonal jobs for meager pay to make ends meet, Mary-Kate Olsen is skipping through department stores and having the greatest time ever!

Page Six claims the evil troll was in an elevator at Barney's (for those of you that live outside of NYC, Barney's is like Macy's for millionaires. And Macy's isn't cheap...) and said this: "It's really sad - the recession is everywhere. But at least they are having good sales. That's where I got this! The recession!"

Not everyone is punching at their overdue bills or climbing down the fire escape to avoid the landlord! Here we have Mary-Kate Olsen, single-handedly saving the economy with her Barney's shopping sprees! Someone get Obama on the phone...we have the answer to the recession right here.

Yes, take comfort in that fact while you're trying to make a hearty soup out of old shoes and ketchup packets.

Mary-Kate Olsen is not expecting her first child

Mary-Kate Olsen is not expecting her first child.

The actress sparked speculation she was pregnant when she started to gain weight over the summer.

But her rep has denied the reports.

‘Mary-Kate is absolutely not pregnant,’ her spokesman tells Us Weekly.

She was rumoured to be dating Heath Ledger before he died in January, although this has never been confirmed.

Yeah, RIGHT!

The Post-Chronicle reports that Mary-Kate Olsen is pregnant.

The 22-year-old star - who shot to fame alongside twin sister Ashley in hit US TV show 'Full House' at nine months old - has sparked rumors she is expecting her first child after her weight shot up to 102lbs (WHOOP-DE-DOO!), according to National Enquirer magazine.

A source said: "Mary-Kate has been looking a lot rounder recently. It is good she has put on weight, because she previously suffered from anorexia, but a lot of people think she could actually be attempting to hide her pregnancy."

Mary-Kate has been dating New York artist Nate Lowman since the beginning of the year and is said to have been inspired to start a family by late actor, and close friend, Heath Ledger
- who told her becoming a father was the most rewarding thing he had ever done.

The source added: "Mary-Kate really took Heath's words to heart. She wanted the same kind of fulfillment in her life that Heath found in his after becoming a dad.

"She is really happy with Nate and is very excited they will soon be starting their family together."

Mary-Kate Olsen's Fender Bender

Remember when the Olsen twins looked like this on the hit show Full House? Here's a blast from the past picture! Well, they've gotten richer but probably weigh the same now as they did then. They're tiny!

Mary-Kate Olsen, 22, got into a fender bender on Monday afternoon after leaving the Open Door furniture store on Melrose Ave. Lucky for us, due to the pesky papz, it was all caught on tape.

Mary-Kate's gal pal accidentally backed her Toyota into a car. I can't really blame her, with all the photographers around, I bet it's hard to concentrate on the road. Well, maybe she's just a horrible driver. MK’s friend and the employee were seen exchanging insurance information.

Mary-Kate was obviously annoyed by the situation and the paparazzi. She snapped, “Get out of the f—ing window. Are you kidding me?” The poor girl just wants her privacy, I suppose.

No one was injured except the car's poor fender. Check out all the action go down on the video below.

Mary-Kate Olsen link to the tragic death of actor Heath Ledger

Why she can't escape her link to the tragedy

Mary-Kate Olsen's link to the tragic death of actor Heath Ledger is still a mystery.

Although the official inquiry was closed on 6 August, no one’s any closer to knowing the truth of what happened at Heath's New York apartment on 22 January.

Mary-Kate's lawyer insists that she ‘had nothing whatsoever to do with the drugs [painkillers Vicodin and OxyContin] found' in the actor’s home or his body, and a verdict of accidental overdose was returned at the inquest.

But why did the pretty former child-star, 22 - Heath's rumoured lover - send her bodyguards round to his flat after the alarm was raised?

The actress has been dogged by drug rumours ever since her teen years when she spectacularly fell off the rails.

In 2004 she entered rehab to be treated for anorexia and a year later was rumoured to have relapsed. Mary-Kate was also alleged to have been treated for a cocaine habit at the same time as her eating disorder, although this has always been firmly denied.

There are still many unanswered questions about Heath's death. For instance, why did the masseuse who found his’s lifeless body call Mary-Kate three times before dialling the emergency services?
And why did Mary-Kate ask investigating police for immunity in return for talking to them just before the investigation was closed for good?

Heath Ledger Investigation Closed

Mary-Kate Olsen may be taking a deep breath after news the U.S. Attorney’s Office closed its investigations.

The investigation into Ledger’s accidental overdose death is over, a law-enforcement source told Peolple magazine.

No charges were filed against the actress and Olsen will not get a subpoena after all. The tiny twin was the first to be called after Ledger’s body was found in his Soho apartment.

The 22-year-old former Full House actress was subpoenaed by a grand jury on April 23, but her attorney had been in negotiations with federal authorities since then, the insider told the magazine.

Olsen requested immunity and earlier this week Olsen’s attorney released a statement saying the actress “had nothing to do” with Ledger’s drugs and had already provided “relevant information” to investigators.

Olsen was the only person who declined to be interviewed in the investigation, the source said. Model Helena Christiansen was interviewed as was Ledger’s ex-girlfriend Michelle Williams and Ledger’s family and friends.

The 28-year-old Joker star was found dead on Jan. 22, and the coroner determined the actor died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs for pain, anxiety and sleep.

Mary-Kate Had “Nothing to Do” With Heath Ledger’s Drugs

Mary-Kate Olsen’s attorney is blasting speculation that his client had anything to do with the drugs involved in Heath Ledger’s accidental overdose.

In a statement released Monday to CelebTV.com, the actress’ lawyer Michael C. Miller, said: “Despite tabloid speculation, Mary-Kate Olsen had nothing whatsoever to do with the drugs found in Heath Ledger’s home or his body, and she does not know where he obtained them.”

Olsen was the first person notified of Ledger’s death after her masseuse discovered the The Dark Knight star’s body in his New York apartment on Jan. 22. The masseuse called Mary-Kate repeatedly before dialing 911, police said.

In his statement, Olsen’s attorney also blasts reports that Mary-Kate Olsen is refusing to cooperate with a Drug Enforcement Agency investigation into whether Ledger was over-prescribed drugs unless she is granted immunity, saying:

“Regarding the Government’s investigation, at Ms. Olsen’s request, we have provided the Government with relevant information including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr. Ledger’s death and the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger consumed.

We don’t know the source of the information being quoted in the media regarding the Government’s inquiry, but these descriptions are incomplete and inaccurate.”

The Associated Press, citing an anonymous government source, reports that Olsen’s lawyer has twice refused requests to have her sit down with investigators about Ledger’s death. According to the government source, the former Full House star wants immunity or she won’t talk.

Mary-Kate Olsen Refuses Interview

Mary-Kate Olsen is refusing to be interviewed by the FBI pertaining to Heath Ledger's death.

The actress has refused to answer any questions unless she is granted immunity from prosecution. The actress's lawyers have continuously shot down the authorities attempts to question her.

Olsen was the first person contacted when a masseuse found Ledger's dead body in her SoHo apartment in January.

Her behavior probes the question: was Ledger's death, which has been ruled an accident, really that accidental?

Officials are looking to obtain a grand-jury subpoena if Olsen continues to refuse to be interviewed. Officials are looking to question the actress about The Dark Knight star's behavior, alleged drug use and what happened that fateful January morning.

Officials have already interviewed everyone associated with Ledger and his death including doctors, maids, the masseuse, bodyguards, business associates and Michelle Williams, the mother of his two-year-old daughter, Matilda.

Spencer Pratt is "Secretly Jealous" of Mary-Kate Olsen

Always one to get caught up in the moment, Spencer Pratt has apologized to Mary-Kate Olsen for calling her “the less cute twin.”

"I apologize for getting caught up in trash talking, but she brought up an emotional subject when she mentioned the soccer stuff," Pratt told press in reference of Olsen telling David Letterman that “The Hills” star used to throw temper tantrums during their high school soccer games.

"I know Dave was just doing his job in asking her," he went on. "He's the best in the game at that."

Pratt even admitted he was a bit envious of “The Wackness” actress, saying: "I respect Mary Kate as a business-woman. I'm secretly jealous of her. I want my face on a lunchbox, too!"

Of their bickering ways, sources tell that the Olsen-Pratt fight began after he sold high school photos of a tipsy-appearing Olsen to a magazine.

Spencer Pratt vs. Mary-Kate Olsen

Let me paint a picture for you. Mary-Kate Olsen was a guest on The David Letterman Show this past week. Letterman asked if she had gone to school with any of the young Hollywood stars out there and Olsen responded that she went to high school with The Hill's star, Spencer Pratt. It was obvious that Mary-Kate Olsen wasn't a fan of Pratt and commented that he had a pretty bad temper when he played high school soccer.

NOW GET THIS! Pratt is reponding back at Mary-Kate Olsen and released his statement to Us Weekly about her appearance, this is so tactless! He says, “I don’t really get why she’d use my name to get press for her little indie film that no one’s going to see. She should probably focus more on not getting dressed in the dark than on me… I know I’ve made it in Hollywood when a famous troll is talking about me on Letterman. I forgive her, though. She’s had to go through life as the less cute twin, which must be tough.”

DAYYY-UM! This picture is allegedly from the time that the two knew eachother. They look pretty young but there's your proof!

Celebrity Book News

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are working on a coffee table book about fashion called "Influence." The book will be released this fall by a division of Penguin Group and will include "exclusive photographs of Ashley and Mary-Kate from world renowned photographer Rankin, and a wide variety of other never-before-seen materials and interviews from Mary-Kate and Ashley's personal collections," according to a statement from the publishing company.

"Mary-Kate and I have filled 'Influence' with the most interesting, challenging, creative people we know - the ones who helped pave the way for us and our generation," Ashley Olsen said in a statement.

"Ashley and I interviewed the people who have inspired us, with the hope that they will inspire and teach others," Mary-Kate Olsen said about their inclusion of artists and designers such as Bob Colacello, Terry Richardson and Jack Pierson.

In other book news, rapper Eminem is reportedly working on an autobiography titled "The Way I Am." Due to be released by Dutton Books this fall, the book will be "every bit as raw and uncensored as the man himself," the rapper's publisher said.

Described as an intimate look into the life of the star, Eminem's spokesperson said it "is still in the process of being written and edited."

"The Way I Am" will be the second book for Eminem; his 2002 "Angry Blonde" detailed his often-controversial lyrics.

Posh is worst dressed

Style maven Mr. Blackwell has come out with his worst dressed list of 2007, and Victoria "Posh" Beckham is at the top.

"In one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty 'Posh' can really wreck-em," Blackwell said in his annual list of fashion faux pas among entertainment stars.

Singer Amy Winehouse took the No. 2 spot with her beehives, tattoos and dark eye make-up.

Coming in third was Mary-Kate Olsen, whose oversized clothing launched its own form of boho chic. "She resembles a tattered toothpick trapped in a hurricane," Blackwell said.

Singers Fergie and Kelly Clarkson were fourth and fifth on the list. Eva Green, Avril Lavigne, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan and Alison Arngrim rounded out the top ten.

However, he did find a few celebrities who dressed well, including Madonna, Barbra Streisand, Elizabeth Taylor and the Queen.

Blackwell said that although Britney Spears has made the list in past years, he decided not to include her this year due to her personal situation. "For those of you who were expecting to see Britney's name adorn the 2007 list, I felt that it was inappropriate at this time to make comment, when her personal life is in such upheaval," Blackwell explained. "I hope 2008 is a better year for her."

Olsens blasted by PETA

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have been labelled "The Trollsen Twins" by PETA.

The 21-year-old stars have angered the animal rights group by continuing to wear fur and including it in their clothes lines.

PETA fumed: "Mary-Kate and Ashley have ignored pleas to stop wearing fur and are still using it in their fashion collection."

The group has now launched a campaign against "fur fiends" like Mary-Kate, who they have dubbed "Hairy Kate" and Ashley who they refer to as "Trashley".

PETA have designed a poster featuring the superstar sisters along with the tagline, "Fur Is Worn by Beautiful Animals and Ugly People".

The "Trollsen Twins" poster will be unveiled today (11.12.07) next to their Hollywood Walk of Fame star in Los Angeles.

Mary-Kate and Ashley - who in 2005 were estimated to have a combined net worth of $300 million - have a lucrative brand including their own fashion and accessories range, their own film franchise and successful acting and modelling careers.

Lepaparazzi News Update: Mary-Kate, Kingsley lock lips in movie

Brace yourself: In her upcoming movie, Mary-Kate Olsen locks lips with Ben Kingsley. Yes, the one-time adorable tyke turned teenage titan, and Ghandi. Not surprisingly, the film's a comedy. Olsen is now 21. Kingsley is 63. Their film, "The Wackness," is slated for release next year.

"There is a very passionate scene in the film, which we filmed last week," Kingsley, who won the best-actor Oscar for 1982's "Ghandi," tells the syndicated TV show "Access Hollywood" in an interview scheduled to air Wednesday.

"It went extremely well and she was very focused. She was very good, very professional. She was quite wonderful."

When asked if he thinks the scene will stir up controversy, Kingsley says: "I'm sure it will. (Her character) is this great free spirit, you know, she is equally seducing so it is a level playing field."

In the film, Kingsley plays a therapist who forms a friendship with a teenage drug dealer (Josh Peck) who trades pot for therapy sessions. Olsen portrays one of the dealer's customers, who winds up kissing Kingsley's character.

"It's for a few seconds and then we disappear and we never see each other in the movie," Kingsley says. "But she is a trigger into my quest for happiness."

Though brief, the scene left a good impression on him. "Mary-Kate has huge energy," he says. "She is very, very committed to her work."

Olsen, who rose to fame on TV's "Full House," was last seen on the big screen opposite her sister, Ashley, in 2004's "New York Minute."

Kingsley's film credits also include "House of Sand and Fog" and "Schindler's List."

The Olsen Twins $22,000 A Month Beach House

(click the picture to enlarge)

You can buy a nice car for 22 grand and who would pay that much for a 2 bedroom,2 bathroom house? But then again, it's a beachfront property. I wonder who will attend the Olsen Twins birthday party at this so called "Party Central."
