Eva Longoria is Officially Single Again

After months of celebrity news and gossip concerning her marriage to NBA player Tony Parker, Eva Longoria’s divorce from the athlete is officially final. The news also comes just two weeks after the divorce of the “other couple” implicated in their split. When Longoria and Parker broke up last November, rumors circulated that Parker had cheated on Longoria with the wife of teammate Brent Barry.

Longoria has not been hiding out despite her hurt over the breakup of her marriage, but has made it a point to socialize. She has been seen out with 25-year-old Eduardo Cruz, who is the younger brother of actress Penelope Cruz, though the pair say they are just friends. Another rumor that recently sprang up was that Longoria had the tattoo of her wedding date (07/07/07) removed from her wrist, but Longoria took to Twitter to deny that rumor.

Eva Longoria Divorce News Saddens Fans

After denying trouble in her three-year marriage to Tony Parker, Eva Longoria confirmed Wednesday that she indeed is divorcing the NBA star. Though the divorce petition cited irreconcilable differences, the latest celebrity gossip surrounds Erin Barry, wife of Parker’s former teammate Brent Barry. Erin and Parker apparently engaged in massive text messaging, and it was recently made public that the Barrys are divorcing too.

Parker, nonetheless, led his team to victory Wednesday night over the Chicago Bulls, though he did admit it was “a difficult time right now for me and Eva.” Though Longoria, 35, said through her publicist that Parker cheated on her earlier in the marriage and that she was devastated, she is determined to remain strong.

Eva Longoria to Apologize to Man in Car Accident?

The latest celebrity news and gossip is over whether or not actress Eva Longoria will apologize to the man with whom she was in a minor car accident last week. The other party, a man named Roman Gasparyan, has sued both Longoria and her husband Tony Parker, saying the accident was Longoria’s fault, and that he was injured. Now, however, he says that if she will apologize publicly he will drop the lawsuit.

Longoria’s representative says that she was not responsible for the accident, but the situation remains unresolved, with Longoria stating that the charges are frivolous and will not hold up in court.

Eva Longoria wants to start family with Tony Parker

Eva Longoria has made no secret of the fact that she wants to start a family with husband Tony Parker.

But that dream has yet to become a reality and it’s said to be breaking her heart.

‘Eva was convinced she’d fall pregnant last summer and even told Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry that she was trying,’ a friend tells Now.

‘She and Tony are in despair because they’ve been trying for a while now without success.'

Eva, 33, admitted last summer that she was hoping to one day hear the pitter-patter of tiny feet, saying: ‘God will give us a child when He feels the time is right.’

There were rumours she and basketball star Tony, 26, were soon to make an announcement as Eva was often pictured in baggy clothes. But the star says she just put on weight for her role as Gabrielle Solis.

Our source says: ‘Eva gets really upset about it all and says that a baby would make her family complete.

'She and Tony are so happy together and he longs to be a dad. But nothing’s happened yet.’

Eva Longoria's new slender figure is down to control underwear.

The actress admitted earlier this year she had piled on the pounds for her role in TV series 'Desperate Housewives' but has recently been sporting a slimmer physique.

However, pictures from a recent party thrown in her honour by Allure magazine - to celebrate her appearance on their cover - revealed the actress was wearing smoothing garments Spanx.


At the Allure party - held at Eva's Los Angeles restaurant Beso - her 'Desperate Housewives' co-star Felicity Huffman joked she would be keeping her friend away from alcohol.


Felicity laughed: "When Eva's not drunk, she is so good and talented. And I'm just hoping tonight we can keep her off the sauce.

"She's the most joyful, generous, industrious, down-to-earth person that I know, so if she invites me to the opening of a letter, I'll go."

Other guests at the party included Victoria Beckham, who took supermodel Heidi Klum as her 'date' so their husbands could spend time together.

Victoria said: "She lives just down the road from me. David and Seal are friends and the kids play together."

Eva Longoria Parker: 'Chill out' with pregnancy rumours

Actress Eva Longoria Parker has called out to the press - begging journalists to "chill out" about reports she is expecting her first child with husband Tony Parker.

Longoria has issued a string of public denials since putting on the pounds for her role in hit U.S. TV series Desperate Housewives sparked rumours of her alleged pregnancy.

She says, "I wish people would just chill out. You'll know when it happens... It's funny because bloggers are like, 'Oh, Eva is wearing baggy clothes.' It's not like I dressed like a hoochie mama before!"

And though she continues to deny the pregnancy, Longoria admits she will keep the public waiting months after she discovers she's expecting.

She adds, "You just don't say anything for health reasons. You just want to make sure everything's okay."

Eva Longoria 'vetoed Desperate Housewives cameo by Heather Mills'

Former model said to have been in talks for bit part in hit US show

Eva Longoria was set against Heather Mills taking a part in Desperate Housewives, according to her former publicist Michele Elyzabeth.

The ex-model, who has had no acting experience, was in talks to do a cameo role in the hit US show. 



But Eva, 33, reportedly convinced producers it was a bad idea.



‘I tried to get her on Desperate Housewives in a little cameo,’ Michele tells the News Of The World. ‘The producer was keen – I reckon they saw the chance to get some headlines for the show. 



‘But when the stars discussed her casting, Eva was totally against it. She demanded Heather be dropped from consideration.’



Michele, 58, also claims Heather, 41, was turned down by other American dramas. 



'I even had discussions with the bosses of Ugly Betty but they gave me a flat no. The major TV shows over here just didn’t think Heather fitted in anywhere.’

Eva Longoria has denied rumours she is pregnant, insisting she is "just fat".

The 'Desperate Housewives' actress - who plays Gabrielle Solis in the hit US TV show - has scoffed at the rumours she is expecting her first child with husband Tony Parker and claims she has just put on weight.

When asked if she is pregnant, Eva replied: "No, I'm just fat!"

'Desperate Housewives' creator Marc Cherry recently revealed 33-year-old Eva is trying to conceive.

Marc said: "Eva is desperately trying to get pregnant with Tony. After they phone their doctor, she promised me I will be the next call!"

The new 'Desperate Housewives' series is giving Eva the opportunity to practice her mothering skills.

Set five years in the future, Eva's character is now a mother of two.

Marc added: "Gaby is having a very tough time being the mother of two overweight, hyperactive children. But Eva is having a marvellous time playing her!"

"I'd like to have as many children as my body will allow - and I'd adopt if I still want more children after that!" she said.

Actress wants pal to open Las Vegas restaurant

Eva Longoria is said to have asked her pal Victoria Beckham to go into business with her.

The Desperate Housewives star, 33, wants Posh to help her expand her successful chain of eateries.

‘Eva owns a restaurant called Beso in Hollywood and is set to launch another in Vegas,’ a source tells the Mail On Sunday.

‘She asked Victoria to come on board and help. Victoria was thrilled and talked it through with her husband David.

'But he thought she was spreading herself a bit thin and should concentrate on what she would good at - running and successful fashion line and looking after the family.'

But Victoria, 34, has agreed to help oversee the guest list for the opening night.

Meanwhile, David, 33, and Victoria’s company, Brand Beckham, which is responsible for their image rights, has posted bumper profits of £1.4million for the year.

Eva Longoria finds married life with husband Tony Parker 'blissfully easy', but things were very different with first spouse Tyler Christopher, 35, (pictured below).

The Desperate Housewives star, 33, says that she just wasn't ready to be a wife when she got hitched to General Hospital star Tyler in 2002. The couple split just 2 years later.

‘He was a lovely man, but I was very young,’ she says.

‘I didn’t know who I was, and I was still struggling as an actor. I was a terrible wife.’

Last July Eva exchanged vows with basketball player, Tony, 26, in Paris.

‘When we got hitched, we were ready,’ she explains. 'Married life is wonderful. My amazing husband understands and supports me. I feel secure, solid and safe. I'm so happy to know Tony has chosen me for the rest of his life.'

And Eva likes to take good care of her man.

‘I’m very domestic, constantly sewing, cooking and cleaning,' she tells Weekend magazine.

'I cook everyday. I’m a great chef. I hate it when Tony eats out!’

Is Eva Longoria desperate to start a family?

The Desperate Housewives star is so eager to have a baby that she’s started getting hormone injections and taking fertility-boosting vitamins, according to The National Enquirer.

The petite actress – who normally weighs 100 lbs. at 5’2” – is also bulking up in order to increase her chances of getting pregnant, a friend says.

“Eva is so into the idea of having a child that she’s willing to do whatever it takes,” the pal told the magazine.

Longoria, 33, recently said that she’s gained weight because her character on Housewives, Gabrielle Solis, is now a “worn-out mother with two kids.”

“She normally watches what she eats and exercises to keep herself slim. Her body is so important to her, but her heart is set on getting pregnant as soon as possible.”

Eva—a smoker—has also laid off the cigs recently.

“She has always had her sights set on raising a family,” said the source. “Children have always been important to her.”

Longoria’s rep was not available for comment.

Eva Longoria Says No to Sexy Lingerie

Eva Longoria is all about wearing lingerie for husband Tony Parker, but when it comes to TV, she’s been known to put up a fight.

“I’m always saying, ‘Isn’t that a bit much?’ to some of the lingerie,” says the Desperate Housewives hottie. “So I try on a lot of lingerie and I veto a lot.”

“I have said no to some very cheeky showing underwear. I do not like to do that. And I’ve said no to different bras that do different things,” Longoria recently told the Disney ABC Television Group at a press tour.

The 33-year-old actress is thrilled that her Desperate Housewives character gets to be a little more frumpy in the upcoming season.

“I love it. I come into hair and make up now and it’s 10 minutes instead of two hours. It’s way more fun to play frumpy. Then you can focus on story and character as opposed to having to always look great. I feel like she’s dealing with a lot of real issues,” Longoria admits.

The new season will air in September.
