Celebrity Apprentice Changes Dennis Rodman

When Dennis Rodman was fired by Donald Trump on Celebrity Apprentice he started down a road to self-awareness; alcoholism. Dennis exposed to the world his extreme personality swings brought on by his drinking. You could not help but feel sorry for him as he didn't seem to function as a friendly fun loving person without a drink first. In July 2000 he was arrested for drunk driving in California.

His problem was not going to go away. You could see Dennis had the propensity for violence. Rodman has had brushes with the law in the past like his May 2008 arrest in LA for domestic battery. Watching him on the Celebrity Apprentice you never knew if he would actually raise a fist to his co-stars.

For those of you hoping and praying Dennis would see that he did in fact have a problem, there is hope. the urging of his family and friends such as his former world champion basketball coach Phil Jackson it is reported that May 4th 2009 Dennis will be seeking help for his alcoholism. He hasn't acted his promise to get help yet, with the Season Finale of the Apprentice coming up with a live portion this Sunday May 10th. Dennis is delaying admission as he wants to attend the live show. Will he follow through?

Is Dennis Rodman in rehab?

TMZ is reporting that Dennis Rodman entered a rehab facility this morning, days after he was arrested for felony domestic battery.

Rodman was arrested at 11 pm April 30 at a Century City hotel, and he was released early May 1 on $50,000 bail.

"Last night Dennis and his girlfriend had too much to drink. When they returned to their hotel they started arguing and a minor altercation broke out where Dennis grabbed her by the arm and left a bruise," Rodman's manager Darren Prince told TMZ after the arrest.

Hotel security then called the LAPD.

Prince also said: "his drinking has been escalating in the last six weeks due to a nasty divorce and not seeing his children in over two months."

Alleged victim Gina "Gigi" Peterson told TMZ: "If I had to be the one to go through it to have that be the catalyst [for rehab] ... I'm glad it was me."

However, Peterson, had a temporary restraining order filed against her six weeks ago by her ex-husband and the father of her four kids!

George Peterson from "The Real Housewives of Orange County" stated that his ex-wife had a history of violence toward him and their kids, and also made threats and was in court-ordered psychiatric lockdown.
