Carrie Underwood to Represent Olay

Country music star and American Idol winner Carrie Underwood has landed a coveted role as Olay Skin Care's first North American celebrity ambassador. This latest celebrity news comes along with Carrie's admission that she has been using Olay products for "at least a decade now." In a press statement, the 27-year-old beauty and fashion trend maker said, "I love that Olay has managed to change with the times, yet stay in touch with women of all ages who want affordable skin care products that do what they promise."

White has had a very exciting year so far in 2010. She recently married hockey player Mike Fisher, and she has an upcoming role in the movie Soul Surfer, where she plays a youth pastor. The film tells the story of teen Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm in a shark attack in 2003.

PCM's Fierce Look Of The Day!

Former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood looked stunning as always as she co-hosted the Country Music Awards last week. We are feeling this flowy, pink gown that she wore to introduce a few presenters at the show. Underwood had at least 5 outfit changes during the ceremony, she wore tons of dresses! Her pretty in pink look makes for our PCM Picture of the Day!

Reviews from after the show said that she and Brad Paisley did an admirable job hosting the show this year. The two stars weren't corny and kept things moving. Good news for you, Miss Underwood!

Stop The Celeb Endorsements, Says Underwood!

Carrie Underwood is not on the celeb-politics bandwagon. No, no, no. The country singer doesn't like what superstars endorse political candidates. She's got some pretty strong feelings about when fellow celebs declare themselves for McCain or Obama. Can you blame her? Or, do you think, what's the real harm in a celeb endorsement? Can they help or hurt a candidate? Here's what Underwood had to say:

“There is someone I do support, but I don’t support publicly. I lose all respect for celebrities when they back a candidate. It’s saying that the American public isn’t smart enough to make their own decisions. I would never want anybody to vote for anything or anybody just because I told them to.”

“Music is where you go to get away from all the BS. Whether it’s from politics or just the world around you, music should be an escape.”

Let's all just stick to taking a Louisville Slugger to both headlights...

Tony Romo torn between Jessica Simpsonand Carrie Underwood

Will Jessica Simpson and Carrie Underwood soon be vying for Tony Romo’s attention in the quarterback’s home state?

Simpson, 28, is set to give her first official country concert performance on July 19 at the Country Thunder USA festival in Twin Lakes, Wisc.

Meanwhile, her homespun single, “Come on Over,” continues to climb the charts – and her country album is scheduled to drop in September.

Jessica’s boyfriend, Tony Romo, will be at her side for her big concert debut, according to Star magazine.

What’s more, the magazine reports, Romo, 28, plans on seeing ex-girlfriend Carrie Underwood while he’s in Wisconsin.

Underwood, 25, is kicking off the festival July 16.

“He wants to go to the festival the next day and say hi to Carrie,” an insider tells Star. “He also says he’s going to be there to support Jessica when she performs three days later. “

Tony plans to be at a fantasy football camp in his hometown of Burlington, Wisc. (just 12 miles from Twin Lakes) on July 15, according to the magazine.

Check out the July 21 issue of Star, on newsstands now, for more details on the potential showdown between Simpson and Underwood.
