Cameron Diaz is planning a "big white wedding" in the UK.

The 'What Happens In Vegas' star and her British model boyfriend Paul Sculfor have reportedly been scouring the English countryside for the perfect place to tie the knot.

They want to get married in the UK, but will continue to live in Los Angeles
A source said: "The couple is looking at big country estates with chapels within the grounds.

"They plan to hire out an entire hotel for their family and friends, and throw a massive party. They want to get married in the UK, but will continue to live in Los Angeles."

The blonde actress - who has been dating Paul for nine months - wants to get married and have children as soon as possible.

The source said: "Cameron wants a big white wedding with the full works. She's even in talks with Karl Lagerfield to design a Chanel couture wedding dress for her.

"Paul and Cameron are so happy together and have talked about getting married this summer or early autumn, and then having kids immediately. It's the real deal and they're absolutely crazy about each other."

Cameron, 36, has even given up her usual adventure holidays, instead spending her spare time planning her impending nuptials.Another source told Look magazine: "Usually Cameron goes to Hawaii surfing but this year she had much more exciting things up her sleeve - checking out places where she and Paul can get married."The couple spent a romantic weekend inspecting Babington House in Somerset, south west England, and are also reportedly considering Gosfield Hall or Leez Priory in Essex, Clearwell Castle near Bristol and Chatsworth House in Derbyshire as possible venues.

Paul Sculfor's movie breakthrough

Paul Sculfor has landed his debut acting role.

The builder-turned-model - who has been dating 36-year-old actress Cameron Diaz since last May last - is going to star in upcoming horror movie 'Vivid', and has been receiving acting lessons from his 'What Happens in Vegas' star girlfriend.

A source said: "Cameron has shown him tricks of the trade."

Paul will star alongside former The Darkness singer Justin Hawkins and 38-year-old 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' actress Charisma Carpenter.

Shooting on the film - which is about a New York novelist who moves to the English countryside and starts having visions of a horrific massacre which took place years before - starts later this week, when Paul has been desperate to get a movie break and has attended numerous castings in the UK and the US over recent months.

Meanwhile, Paul and Cameron are believed to be considering marriage.

A source said: "Cameron and Paul are having a wonderful time and don't want to spoil it by pushing things, but they have used the m-word occasionally."They're playing house in a serious way - both openly admit marriage scares them but they are very much in love and the subject has come up."

Cameron Diaz deliberately avoided Jessica Biel at the CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute.

The 'What Happens in Vegas' star rushed through the back entrance of Los Angeles' Kodak Theatre on Friday (28.11.08) to prevent running into Jessica, who is currently dating Cameron's ex-boyfriend, singer Justin Timberlake.

A source said: "It was a careful tango to make sure they weren't backstage at the same time."

Jessica - who was accompanied by her father Jonathan - presented one of the prizes at the ceremony, which recognises people who have shown incredible bravery and dedication in the face of adversity.


Cameron also handed over an award to Marie Da Silva, who was praised for funding a school in her native Malawi.

Other stars taking part in the concert and ceremony included Christina Aguilera, Salma Hayek, Forrest Whitaker, Meg Ryan, Terrence Howard, Lucy Liu and Kate Beckinsale.

Cameron famously blew up at the 'Easy Virtue' actress at the 2007 Golden Globe Awards after she spotted her flirting with the 'SexyBack' star soon after they had split.

Cameron Diaz upset guests by refusing to share her cigarettes at a party.

The 'In Her Shoes' actress, who was attending a lavish Halloween bash hosted by her close friend Drew Barrymore at her Hollywood Hills home, managed to annoy other partygoers by spending most of the evening smoking.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Cameron was outside smoking the whole time, but when a couple of people asked if she had a cigarette, she always said no. It was so rude."

Cameron Diaz reckons the reason she can’t settle down is because she’s too selfish.

The actress, 36 – who is dating model Paul Sculfor, 37 – makes no secret of the fact that she is in no rush for marriage or children.

‘It's really hard for me to commit. It’s probably a lack of discipline on my part,’ she says.

‘Honestly, I’m just a spoiled brat who’s used to getting my own way all the time!

'I’m sure that’s what it is. I’m sure I’ll suffer for it later, but I’m happy with it right now.’

And Cameron – who previously dated Justin Timberlake, 27 – says kids aren't on her agenda.

Cameron Diaz made a speech about her late dad at a special screening of There's Something About Mary.

The actress, 36, was attending the Target Presents AFI Night At The Movies in Hollywood, when she paid tribute to Emilio, who died from pneumonia in April.

‘My daddy's in this movie for two seconds,’ Cameron told the audience at ArcLight Cinemas.

‘My father just passed away recently. He's the dude when Ben Stiller is leaving the jail and all the guys run afterwards – my dad has the long black-silver hair down to here who's hamming it up in the front.’

And Cameron was keen for Emilio to have his moment in the spotlight.

‘That's my dad, so would you all just say hi to him, because it's one of the few moments that we have of him immortalized on film,’ she added.

She stayed to watch the first minutes of the film but left before her father’s on-screen performance.

Jim Carrey, Steve Martin and Denzel Washington were also among the stars who presented screenings of some of their classic roles.

Cameron Diaz is facing more heartbreak as her relationship with British model Paul Sculfor is all but over.

Just 3 weeks ago the couple were pictured kissing and cuddling at the US Open tennis tournament in New York, but it seems that privately their romance was already dying.

Neither Cameron nor Paul, 37, appear to have got over their exes – Justin Timberlake and Jennifer Aniston.

‘They’re just not right for each other,' a friend of Paul's tells Now. 'Paul realised that he didn’t want to settle down with Cameron.

'He’d prefer to be single. He loves the limelight and dating all these beautiful Hollywood ladies. It raises his profile.’

Cameron, 36, is currently in California while Paul is working in London. But friends say the romance has little chance of carrying on when he goes back to LA.

‘Cameron deserves someone who wants the same as her: marriage and children,’ our source says. ‘Paul can’t give her that.'

The actress is said to have let slip the happy news at her fitness centre on Wednesday.

A fellow gym-user apparently overheard Cameron, 35, and alerted waiting snappers.

'A woman calling herself Harriet came out and told a photographer that Cameron was in there "talking about her engagement to the Brit",' a source tells the Daily Star.

'From there it just snowballed so by the time she came out there were hordes baying for news.'

Diaz plans a year off

Cameron Diaz has announced she plans to take a year off after filming the 2009 film "My Sister's Keeper," based on the bestseller by Jodi Picoult.

"I envision a full year off, just living life and having fun. It's the best thing, Diaz told W magazine in their May issue.

She said she plans to use her time off for self-discovery.

"[I'm] just kind of taking more time getting to know myself. It sounds so corny that I can't believe I even just said that, but, you know, there comes a time when you really have to get to know who you are," she said. "I've just been figuring out what interests me and spending time with people who are important to me and being present in my own life."

She also said she plans to become involved with a charity, although she would not reveal specifics.

"I'm not ready to talk about that yet because they're not totally up and running and I don't want to mess them up by talking about them too soon," she said.

During the interview, which was conducted prior to her father's death last week, Diaz professed her current happiness.

"I'm in love with love. I'm in love with life," she said. "This year I just sort of decided, you know, there's a lot of things that I've been wanting to do and I'm going to do them."

Sources say the Diaz's father 58-year old Emilio Diaz, a resident of Seal Beach, CA has passed away suddenly due to complications from pneumonia. It is claimed that Emilio was in "terrific health" and his death comes as a complete shock to friends and family. Emilio had come down with the flu, that turned into a serious case of pneumonia. Daughter Cameron was at work on her newest film "My Sister's Keeper" at his time of death, work on the film has shut down indefinitely.
