Penelope Cruz says she will never call America home.

The actress, 34, prefers her life in Spain away from the glare of the media spotlight.

‘You have to create a safe environment for yourself, so you can be the observer, instead of the object,’ she tells Easy Living.

‘It doesn't mean you can't go to a bar or walk in the park. I do that.'

The Vanilla Sky star is currently dating fellow Spaniard Javier Bardem, 39.

Singer Nicole Scherzinger says she is pretty average.

‘I think I’d rate myself as 5 out of 10 for my looks,’ she insists. ‘Right in the middle.’

Nicole is currently dating Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, 23.

But the Pussycat Doll, 30, wasn’t always popular with the opposite sex.

‘I used to be cripplingly shy,' she says. 'My grandfather was a preacher. I came from a very religious, strict upbringing in Hawaii and I wasn't very popular.

'Guys just wouldn’t go out with me.’

Singing helped Nicole develop a bit of self esteem.

'It wasn't until I got to high school that I began to blossom,' she tells Sugar. 'Even though I was shy, uncomfortable and lanky, my music brought me out of myself.'

Pete Wentz my pride stops me from quitting my job

Pete Wentz often thinks about quitting his job but his male pride gets in the way.

'From time to time I think I'd like to just give up the stress and slob at home.

'However, there is this caveman side of me where I want to go out and stab a mammoth and bring it home to my wife and show that I can kill,’ he tells The Sun.

‘I like to be the man of the house.’

The Fall Out Boy star, 29, wed singer Ashlee Simpson, 24, in May.

They are expecting their first child together next month.
