The guitarist, who had a baby boy with the singer last month, claims she's "awesome" in bed.

They hoped a canine companion might help, but when 5-month-old English bulldog Rigby joined the budding family, Hemingway's dog aggression escalated. As Ashlee's due date rapidly approaches, Cesar is called in to help the couple create a balanced environment that will be safe for their newborn.

Bronx Mowgli, the name of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz's son, has been crowned the worst celebrity baby name of 2008.

The one-month-old's name was voted the most disliked male baby moniker in a survey of around 5,000 visitors to website BabyNames.com.

Jagger Joseph Blue - the daughter of actress Soleil Moon Frye and Jason Goldberg - was crowned the worst girl's.

BabyNames.com founder and CEO Jennifer Moss praised Nicole Richie and Joel Madden for calling their daughter Harlow Winter Kate, explaining: "Harlow Winter Kate is a glamorous name, without being too unusual."

Other celebrated names include Mark Walhberg and Rhea Durham's son Brendan Joseph, and Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge's daughter Maddie Briann.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's twins Max and Emme won best twin name, closely followed by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's children Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon in second place.
Voters were given 72 celebrity baby names to choose from.

Ashlee Simpson loves being a mum.

The singer, 24, and her husband Pete Wentz welcomed son Bronx Mowgli on 20 November.

‘Motherhood is the most fantastic experience,’ she writes on her MySpace blog. ‘He makes me laugh and smile everyday!’

Pete, 29, is also impressed with the new addition.

‘Every time I see my son, it looks like he's landing on the moon and discovering new rocks and stuff,’ he tells People.

‘I mean, every time he looks at his hand, it's like he's Christopher Columbus making it across the ocean. It's pretty awesome.’

Bronx Mowgli Jungle Book Bond

Pete Wentz and wife Ashlee Simpson named their son Bronx Mowgli in tribute to 'The Jungle Book'.

The Fall Out Boy rocker - who welcomed his first child with Ashlee into the world last week - has revealed the couple are huge fans of Rudyard Kipling's novel, which tells the story of a young boy called Mowgli who grows up in the jungle and is raised by animals.

Pete said: "'The Jungle Book' was something that me and Ashlee bonded over. It's a cool name."

The 29-year-old musician also refused to reveal the inspiration behind the name Bronx.

He added to US radio host Ryan Seacrest: "We came up with the idea Bronx. We've been throwing ideas back and forth a while. People are stoked or angry whatever. And you're like, you know what - I don't think anyone really has the real story."

Pete felt like he was "having a heart attack" when 24-year-old Ashlee first went into labour, adding: "My heart started beating real fast. You see your wife is in all this pain. And I don't know what's happening right now. She took care of me and made sure I was OK and then went into labour. That's why she's a saint."

NME has reported that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson had a healthy, bouncy baby boy last night...that they proudly named Bronx Mowgli Wentz.

BRONX MOWGLI? He's probably already on his way to his lawyer's office to file for emancipation from his parents.

BRONX MOWGLI? First of all, his initials are BMW! Trust me. That wasn't a coincidence. They just want a free car. Second of all, his short initials are BM. Enough said.

A spokesperson told NME, "Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!"

Correction: BMW is not happy. Ass and Pete may think he's crying, because he's a little baby, but that's not the case. He's crying because his name is BMW and he already hates life!!! With a name like BMW, he can either be a low-rent neighborhood rapper or a low-rent neighborhood DJ.

Somewhere in the world, Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale (aww. SMUSH SMUSH SMUSH.) has stopped crying over his name and is finally smiling, because someone has an even fuglier name than him.

Ashlee Simpson reportedly went into labour with her first child over the weekend.

The 'Little Miss Obsessive' singer's husband, Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, was said to have texted his friends on Friday night (14.11.08) telling them the happy news he and Ashlee would soon be welcoming their first child into the world.

A source close to Pete told Life and Style Weekly magazine: "Pete texted his friends last night that Ashlee is in labour!"

The rumour was further fuelled after Pete wrote on his blog he would be cancelling his scheduled appearance on 'Larry King Live' "due to breaking news and scheduling conflicts".

It has since been reported that Ashlee has now given birth to her baby.

However, a representative for the 24-year-old singer has denied the claims, adding to US TV show 'Access Hollywood' that Ashlee "has not yet gone into labour".

Pete's wife of six months, Ashlee Simpson, 24, was due to have that kid any day now, she was getting huge! Wentz was supposed to appear on Larry King Live but this latest post explains why he had to cancel:

“Due to breaking news and scheduling conflicts, I will not be appearing on Larry King Live tonight, though I am a big fan of the show and look forward to appearing on it in the future. I also look forward to the chance to continue supporting civil rights and speaking out against the passing of Proposition 8 and others like it (I’m looking at you Arizona and Florida) whenever and wherever i can.”

The singer is expecting her first child, a boy, with her Fallout Boy star husband Pete Wentz later this month.

Guests at the Winnie The Pooh-themed baby shower included Ashlee’s sister Jessica, Nicole Ritchie and actress Emily Rossum.

‘She was glowing and insanely happy,’ a source tells People.

Ashlee, 24, and Pete, 28, married in May, shortly before they announced her pregnancy.

Ashlee Simpson hosted a Winnie the Pooh-themed baby shower on Saturday (01.11.08).

The 'Outta My Head' singer - who is due to give birth to her first child later this month - celebrated with 35 guests, including singer-and-actress sister Jessica Simpson, her mother Tina, actress Emmy Rossum and Nicole Richie, who brought her 10-month-old daughter Harlow.

A source at the shower - which was briefly attended by Ashlee's husband, Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz - said: "She was glowing and insanely happy. Pete was so excited too!"

Guests enjoyed a feast of chicken and mashed potatoes, crab cakes, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, jicama salad with grapefruit and a bumblebee-shaped cake before Ashlee was given several gifts, including several outfits from Kitson Kids and a mini-Burton snowboard suit and matching gear.

"The girls were also given bracelets that had a big bumble bee on them."

'From time to time I think I'd like to just give up the stress and slob at home.

Musician can't wait to become a dad

Pete Wentz has revealed that wife Ashlee Simpson could give birth any day now.

‘I'm permanently on-call right now,’ the Fall Out Boy frontman told Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show yesterday.

‘She is at the very end, and it could happen at any point.’

Pete says they’re both looking forward to the arrival of their first child.

‘[She’s] excited, she's anxious...I think she wants it to be over,’ he explained.

‘She just wants to not be pregnant any more. She wants to have it because it's, like, a struggle to go up and down the stairs...going out in public's insane.

‘She's hot all the time. She's like “I wish I was in Canada right now.” Our room temperature is set to, like, 34 degrees. It's insane!’

Pete, 29, and Ashlee, 24, announced they were expecting in May shortly after they tied the knot.

They have denied rumours they are having twins.

Ashlee Simpson is expecting a baby boy.

The singer's husband, Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, says the couple are almost certain that they know the gender of their unborn first child.

He said: "We know with 90 per cent accuracy that it's a boy, and our due date is around Thanksgiving."

However, the bassist says they haven't picked out a name for their pending new arrival yet, but promises it will be "rock star worthy".

He added to Playboy magazine: "We don't have any names yet. My friend Andrew said, 'Your kid has to have a name that would fit either a rock star or a senator.' "

Earlier this week, a spokesperson for the couple was forced to deny they were expecting twins after hip-hop star Tyga - a friend of Pete's - said: "Pete and Ashlee are having twins. They're really happy."

Jessica Simpson can't wait for her younger sister Ashlee to give birth.

The 28-year-old singer thinks she will make an amazing aunt to Ashlee's baby, and intends to be extravagant with gifts for her niece or nephew.

She told E! News: "I'm going to spoil the kid rotten, that's for sure. I think my sister's going to be pretty strict, actually, because she's been so good throughout her pregnancy."

Jessica also revealed she can't believe 23-year-old Ashlee is soon to become a parent. She added: "Ashlee is just such a woman. I'm like, 'Oh, my gosh - what's happened to my sister?' "

Meanwhile, Ashlee's husband Pete has dispelled rumours the couple are having twins. Reports that Pete's musician friend Tyga had confirmed the pair will soon be welcoming two bundles of joy into the world are untrue, Pete has revealed. Pete, 29, said: "It's going to be a big disappointment when it's only one! I think I started the rumour about twins!"

“Today I read on a blog that I went to the doctor and he said I was overweight and I cried and went to Planet Blue (because I was blue) and bought 6 pair of size 0 jeans. Now it is ridiculous to read such nonsense about oneself so I thought I would address this one…

1. My doctor says I am right on target with my weight gain
2. Have not been to Planet Blue in at least two years
3. Love my maternity jeans ..they have stretchy tops it is awesome!
4. My closet full of size 0’s are being worn by [husband Pete Wentz] right now and he looks hot in them

So now that I have cleared that up let me tell you…carrying a child is the most inspiring, emotional, amazing experience of my life. My weight and my pant size are the absolute last thing I am concerned about. I am only concerned with having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Ashlee Simpson: 'I can't wait' to be a mother

Ashlee Simpson "can't wait" to be a mother.

The 'Outta My Head' singer, who is married to rocker Pete Wentz, announced in May she is expecting her first child later this year and is overcome with excitement about the impending arrival.

She told 'Entertainment Tonight Canada': "We're getting the nursery ready. I can't wait to be a mom and he can't wait to be a dad, so it's fun.

"I have the greatest husband. He's so awesome. It's fun to have somebody that I love to do this with. The baby is my main focus right now. We're both so excited. I mean, this is definitely the happiest moment in my life.

"My mom and my grandmother have given me good motherly advice but it's one of those things where your mother instincts kind of kick in right away."

Despite their preparations, Ashlee, 22, admitted she and Fall Out Boy star Pete, 29, haven't chosen a name for the baby yet.

Joking about calling the child Orange, Ashlee added: "I don't think it's something we'll decide until the baby comes."
