Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker Welcome Twins

The twin girls are named Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick and Tabitha Hodge Broderick. Hodge and Elwell are family names of Parker's. Marion weighed 5 lbs., 11 oz and Tabitha weighed 6 pounds. The twins will join Parker and Broderick's six year old son James Wilkie Broderick.

SJP Hints At 'Sex & The City' Sequel

We are liking Sarah Jessica Parker's look at the Oscars last week. (Okay, a little prom-esque but if you can't get crazy formal at the Oscars, where can you?) The actress wore a Dior Haute Couture silver gown to the ceremony last Sunday night.
While on the red carpet, Parker, 43, hinted at a 'Sex & The City' movie sequel in the works. When asked about the likelihood of a sequel to last year's film adaptation of the popular television series, she said: "It looks very promising. I do not know anything yet, not one single thing."

She also added that the movie's producer/director/writer Michael Patrick King is hauled away somewhere writing a script for the new movie. The last movie was such a huge hit, we're sure all the Sex & The City crew will be back for me, they'd be crazy not to, there are loyal fans out there everywhere!

Sex and the City sequel movie will address the credit crunch

EVEN Carrie Bradshaw has to tighten her designer belt in a recession.

SARAH JESSICA PARKER’S character may have to tone down her lust for labels in the Sex and the City sequel after the actress revealed the movie will address the credit crunch.

She said: “How do we address these economic times in a franchise that has a lot to do with luxury and labels?”

“How do we do that well? And how do we do that in a not lazy way?

“There is a lot that we have to think about because times are very different. So these are nice challenges, these are good challenges.”

But lack of luxury won’t mean a shortage of fun, promised the star.

“I think we want this one to be a romp. The last one, we got to tell a really mature sophisticated story that had real heartbreak in it, and this time, I think we want a romp. We want our audience to have a massive romp.”

Sarah Jessica Parker's Movie Romp

Sarah Jessica Parker says the next 'Sex and the City' movie will be a "romp".

The actress, who is set to reprise her role as sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw, wants the script to be packed with steamy scenes and funny storylines.

She said: "I think we want this one to be a romp. The last one, we got to tell a really mature sophisticated story that had real heartbreak in it, and this time, I think we want a romp. We want our audience to have a massive romp."

Parker also refused to give away what will happen next for Carrie and her new husband Mr. Big - played by Chris Noth.

She added: "In a million years I'm not going to give you an indication. I want someone to show up that first weekend."

The 43-year-old actress - who will team up again with Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon for the next big screen installment - admits the movie will have to be sensitive to the growing global financial crisis.

Parker explained to US TV host Bully Bush: "How do we do that well? And how do we do that in a not lazy way? How do we address these economic times in a franchise that has a lot to do with luxury and labels?

"There is a lot that we have to think about because times are very different. So these are nice challenges, these are good challenges."

Actress and Matthew Broderick rumored to be splitting

Sarah Jessica Parker
and Matthew Broderick are reportedly on the verge of breaking up.

The Sex And The City star's marriage was rocked last year by allegations Matthew, 46, had an affair.

And insiders claim Sarah, 43, who plays Carrie Bradshaw in the hit show, plans to move out.

'The time has come when she realises it just isn't worth it,’ a source tells America’s Star magazine. ‘Sarah Jessica is determined to get her own place.

'For a while it was easier for her to stay than go through a harsh divorce. They're essentially living separate lives.’

Sarah and Matthew, who wed 11 years ago, have son James Wilkie, 6.

Sarah Jessica Parker's summer sequel

Sarah Jessica Parker says shooting on the 'Sex and the City: The Movie' sequel will start next summer.

The 43-year-old actress - who reprised her role as sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw in the big-screen version of the hit US TV show earlier this year - has revealed plans are already in motion for the follow-up.

She said: "I think shooting next summer is a realistic timetable. That's when we'd start shooting to be out in 2010. But that means we need to figure this out in the next couple of months."

Parker also revealed the main "hurdle" in getting the movie off the ground is finding a realistic premise for the plot.

She added: "We've had very general conversations about the idea. That's the big hurdle: the idea. The studio is very enthusiastic, which is lovely and seductive.

"We're at the place where the writer and director, Michael Patrick King, has a wealth of stories so now it's, 'We think we have this story and how do we put this together and are we completely sure that it's the right thing to do?' "

Parker - who is expected to be joined by co-stars Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis in the sequel - said her character Carrie, who married her boyfriend in the last movie, is unlikely to have children in the next film.

She told MTV: "It doesn't seem as if that's going to be a choice she'll make. I don't know. Michael and I never talk about it. That doesn't mean that won't be part of the story. We just haven't figured it out. It feels a little bit manipulative to toss that into the mix, because she seems so pointed in a different direction."

Sarah Jessica Parker calls 'undecided' Americans to vote for Obama

Sarah Jessica Parker is happy to reveal who she'll be voting for in the US election next week.

On Thursday the actress, 43, wore a red, white and blue outfit and a Barack Obama badge when she headed to the politician's New York headquarters to help other volunteers call 'undecided' voters.

If onscreen Sex And The City character Carrie Bradshaw were doing in the calling, no doubt she'd say: 'Please vote for Barack Obama because he looks so cool in his $1,500 navy blue, worsted wool two-button Hartmarx suits'.

Barack Obama is presidential nominee for the Democratic Party and his other celebrity supporters include Jennifer Aniston, Opray Winfrey, The Black Eye Peas' will.i.am, Ben Affleck, George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson, Robert De Niro, Samuel L. Jackson, Halle Berry and Chris Rock.

John McCain, the Republican Party nominee, is backed by Hollywood action man - and Governor of California - Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Sarah Jessica Parker helps welcome Chanel traveling art show

Sex And The City actress Sarah Jessica Parker was one of the stars helping launch Chanel's unusual fashion-meets-art project in the Big Apple this week. The blonde actress was one of the first visitors to pay a visit to the space-age exhibition space which has touched down in Central Park after stints in Hong Kong and Japan.

Also exploring the huge white UFO structure - which is packed with artwork inspired by Chanel's iconic quilted handbag - were British New York resident Agyness Deyn and her other half, The Strokes musician Albert Hammond Jr. The couple - who have been dating since June - have yet to comment on reports they've secretly become engaged.

Artistic director at Chanel and the man behind the mobile exhibition, Karl Largerfeld, was also on hand at the bash. The shell-like building - which takes a month to install - next heads off to London, Moscow and finally Paris.

Back To School For SJP!

Sex & The City star Sarah Jessica Parker took her young son James Wilke to school yesterday. The mom and son pair walked through the streets of New York to get to his school! How sweet.

As for rumors of another SATC movie, well, Mr. Big actor Chris Noth recently spilled some of his thoughts about doing a sequel. He said, “Maybe Carrie and Mr Big could take their honeymoon here {London}, maybe his business could move here or could bring him here and they could settle down. They could take in some old Kings and Queens, Westminster Abbey, do all the tourist stuff, that would be fun.”

Hmmm, interesting! The SATC crew heading to London, England?! I feel like if they are going to make another movie, since the first one was such a smashing success, they should just agree to do another season!

Sarah Jessica Parker: Shoes are my first love

Sex And The City star says shoes are her first love

Sarah Jessica Parker says she'd choose shoes over a guy – because they're more dependable than men.

Talking about her Sex And The City character Carrie, the 43-year-old actress says: 'She could probably count on a Manolo more than a man. So is it better than sex? Yes!’ she says.

And she says she has no problem walking in towering stilettos.

‘I could run a marathon in heels and wake up the next day and run another one,’ she tells Fabulous.

Sarah's co-star Kim Cattrall – who plays Samantha in the show – is another shoe addict.

‘I used to display my shoes all over my house like art,’ she reveals.

But now the 51-year-old actress has a 44sqft closet in her New York home to showcase her collection.

'It's like my sanctuary,' she says.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick Move (Further) East

Following rumors that Matthew Broderick cheated on Sarah Jessica Parker, the couple may be moving from their New York City home.

The Sex and the City actress has admitted she’s tired of being spied on by the paparazzi in their West Village home.

“Photographers moved into apartments next door to us, and we really found ourselves kind of living like a spy movie,” she recently told ABC News.

According to New York Magazine, the reportedly troubled duo has been looking at a $17.8 million home in the hip and more private East Village.

A source told the magazine that the actress was spotted twice earlier this summer touring the East Village spot.

The property is comprised of two houses joined together and has a huge backyard, reports the magazine.

Parker’s rep did not immediately return our call for comment.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick Live Separate Lives

Sarah Jessica Parker may continue to live in the city with her hubby, but minus the sex.

Parker and her husband of 11 years, Matthew Broderick, are reportedly living separate lives after Parker learned the 46-year-old actor was cheating.

Star magazine reported The Producers star has had a three-month affair with a 25-year-old woman, however, Parker is not ready to walk away from the marriage.

The strain between the 43-year-old actress and the 46-year-old actor’s relationship has been obvious to residents in their New York City neighborhood for some time, the magazine reports.

“Sarah and Matthew have been struggling for years,” a source close to the couple told the magazine. “Now that news of Matthew’s cheating has broken, they have decided to try to make things work—especially for the sake of their son, James.”

A friend of the couple added, “They’ve been living separate lives...they’ve been out of love for a long time but remain married for their son.”

Regardless of the appearance of a good marriage, many say that it was not a shock to find out the pair were not happy.

“I’m not surprised it came out that one of them cheated,” a source told the magazine.

“I always see one of them pick up their son from school. Sarah seems very focused on her career and Matt hasn’t been doing much lately, which seems to have caused a rift in their marriage.”

The couple’s reps did not immediately return our calls for comment.

Sarah Jessica Parker's Hubby Caught Cheating

Sarah Jessica Parker's husband has been sneaking off for hot trysts with a stunning redhead half his age, sources tell Star in a blockbuster exclusive.

In the new issue of Star — on newsstands now — we report that while the beloved actress was frantically searching for hubby Matthew Broderick one night earlier this year, he was having sex in the city with a gorgeous redhead half his age, the young woman told a friend.

After meeting in a bar, Matthew began text messaging the 25-year-old youth counselor, says the woman's pal. Soon after, the insider claims, they began seeing each other and things got passionate quickly when they met at the Manhattan townhouse of a showbiz friend.

Sources say the woman felt conflicted with her relationship with Matthew, whom she nicknamed "Matty Cakes." She tried to end it, say insiders, but that didn't happen and over the next month — when Sarah Jessica was filming Sex and the City: The Movie in Los Angeles — multiple eyewitnesses say they saw Matthew make late-night visits to the other woman's apartment building.

During one tryst, they arrived at her friend's apartment after a night of heavy drinking, says a source. She dragged Matthew into the friend's bedroom, then shut the door. "A half hour later, Matthew opened the bedroom door, mumbled 'Well... 'bye!' and walked out. The friend found her passed out on the bed in her panties."

Sarah Jessica Parker: I can't give advice on love

Sex And The City star says she's no agony aunt

Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that people often come up to her and ask for advice on their relationships.

But she reckons that playing the world’s most famous singleton – Carrie Bradshaw in Sex And The City – doesn’t qualify her to be an agony aunt.

‘I'm reluctant to give it, because I'm no more of an expert than you are. I don’t have a doctorate. I was just the beneficiary of a character who is interested in sexual politics,’ she tells The Sun.

‘I hope I’ve learned to be a better friend, because she is such a good friend. But I'm terrible at giving advice because everybody’s different.’

Sarah, 43, is married to actor Matthew Broderick, 46. They have a son James, 5.

I totally understand what she's saying. Giving advice is something I try too avoid. Only because like Sarah said everyone thinks different. You do not want too offend anyone just because you think one way. You do not want to find yourself in a debate just because you think the way you do verses how someone else thinks do you?

Has Sarah Jessica Parker removed her famous mole?

The distinctive mark on her chin was not visible when the actress was snapped at a New York charity baseball event this week.

'She has had the mole removed, although she hasn’t told us why,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

Sarah, 43, joins singer Enrique Iglesias, 33, who had his trademark facial mole whipped off in 2003.

Actor Ewan McGregor, 37, had a mole cut off last year in a skin cancer scare.

I think that Sarah looks amazing with or without the mole. However, I slightly lean more towards her not having it. With the height of skin cancer in our country we need to be extremely careful with our skin. I notice as I gotten older that I even see little moles that pop up. I know alot of it comes from the countless times I love to tan in the sun for hours at a time. So let's make sure that we check our skin on a daily basis!
