Surprise Announcement from Nicole Kidman

Actress and fashion designers’ favorite Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban have revealed that they are parents of an infant girl, born December 28. The baby, Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, was born December 28 of last year in Nashville to a gestational carrier. Genetically, she is Kidman and Urban’s daughter. The couple issued a statement saying, “Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret.”

The couple managed to keep the impending birth away from Hollywood’s celebrity news and gossip machine, surprising everyone with their announcement. They didn’t even reveal their new arrival at the Golden Globe Awards Sunday. Little Faith Margaret has an older sister, Sunday Rose, who was born in 2008, and an older sister Isabella and brother Connor, from Kidman’s previous marriage to actor Tom Cruise.

Nicole Kidman's in love daughter

Nicole Kidman's daughter has a crush on Naomi Watts' son.

Naomi and her partner Liev Schreiber claim 18-month-old Sasha already has several celebrity admirers, including Nicole and Keith Urban's six-month-old daughter Sunday Rose and Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher's daughter Olive, who is 15 months.

The 'Defiance' actor joked: "Sunday Rose is after our boy really heavy and I think it's kind of weird and early, and I think she should back off, slow down and get her act together before that all happens. And Olive's been after our baby for a while too."

The happy parents - who welcomed second son Samuel into the world last month - are not surprised Sasha is so popular.

Liev said: "Dishy. Is that still a word, dishy? I can say that about my son. The boy is really, really dishy."

Naomi added: "Oh, I think he's gorgeous. Like you'd want to make out with him - that kind of guy."

But Liev joked his boys are in no hurry to commit: "They're young men, they live in New York, they've got the world in front of them, lots of things to do before they have to settle down."

PCM Movie Pick : Hot Or Not?

Did you get a chance to head over to your local movie theater with your family over Thanksgiving? We caught the Hugh Jackman/Nicole Kidman film, Australia. It didn't get great reviews nor did it do super well in the box office. In Australia, on the brink of WWII, an English aristocrat travels to the faraway continent, where she meets a rough-hewn local and agrees to join forces with her to save the land she inherited.

Together, they embark upon a transforming journey across the world's most beautiful yet unforgiving terrain, the Outback! It's definitely a romance movie with a little bit of action. We thought the film was wayyy to long overall, they could have gotten to the point much quicker. However, we did realize why Hugh Jackman was voted The Sexiest Man Alive! Perhaps that's a good reason to check out the flick!

Nicole, 41, gave birth to Sunday in July, her first child with Keith, 41.

The star also has adopted children Connor, 13, and Isabella, 15, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, 46.

Nicole Kidman: Says she can fly off the handle when she's upset

Nicole Kidman has admitted that despite her cool and calm appearance she can really fly off the handle when she gets upset.

The flame-haired actress says husband Keith Urban, 40, has to watch where he treads.

‘I would have to describe myself as emotional and highly strung,’ he says. ‘If something upsets me, it really upsets me. If something makes me angry I get really angry.

‘It’s all very upfront, I can’t hide it. [But] I’m also loyal and I hope I’m fun.’

Nicole, 41, who gave birth to daughter Sunday Rose in July, is clearly madly in love with Keith.

‘We are never apart for more than 2 weeks, and even that’s too long,’ she tells The Sun. ‘I’ve never wanted to live my life apart from the person I love.’

Nicole Kidman shows off Sunday Rose in Public

THERE'S no doubt she's Mummy's girl: Nestled in Nicole Kidman's arms, two-month-old Sunday Rose showed off her strawberry blonde hair.

And although Nicole wore a cap as she carried her daughter in London on Friday, the few strands that escaped were a perfect match.

It is the first time Sunday Rose's face has been seen in public. Her 41-year-old mum is filming in the capital and has spent a month rehearsing for the musical Nine, with Penelope Cruz and Kate Hudson. She is expected to be there until Christmas.

Nicole gave birth to Sunday Rose, named after the Australian art collector Sunday Reeve, in July in Nashville, where she lives with hubby Keith Urban, 40. He is with her in the UK.

She also has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise – Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13. She and Urban are reportedly planning to move to Los Angeles to be closer to them. But although Sunday Rose is small enough to pick up and go, Nicole may find her entourage a little less portable. It consists of a nanny, a chef, a driver, a bodyguard and a personal assistant.

Nicole recently attributed the "miracle" birth of her daughter to the health-giving pristine waters in which she swam while filming the Baz Luhrmann-directed epic Australia in a remote location in Western Australia.

Nicole told Australian Women's Weekly: "I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth to a child but it happened on this movie.

"My miracle pregnancy came after a plunge in an Outback fertility waterfall.

"Seven babies were conceived out of this film and only one was a boy.

"There is something up there in the Kununurra water because we all went swimming in the waterfalls, so we can call it the fertility waters now."

Nicole and her family have relocated to London temporarily while she rehearses for Nine.

Nicole Kidman's baby water

Nicole Kidman says special Australian "fertility water" helped her conceive.

The 'Moulin Rouge!' actress - who welcomed daughter Sunday Rose, her first child with husband Keith Urban, into the world in July - credited the liquid from the town of Kununurra, West Australia, where she was filming new movie 'Australia', for aiding her and six other women on set to fall pregnant.

Nicole - who also has two adopted children, Isabella, 15 and Connor, 13, with ex-husband Tom Cruise - said: "I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth to a child but it happened on this movie. Nothing happened in a small way on this film. We had heat and torrential rains and equine flu and then I got pregnant.

"Seven babies were conceived out of this film and only one was a boy. There is something up there in the Kununurra water because we all went swimming in the waterfalls, so we can call it the fertility waters now."

The 41-year-old actress - who stars alongside Hugh Jackman in Baz Luhrmann's epic film - also admitted she was surprised at how easy her labour was.

She added to The Australian Women's Weekly magazine: "I'm so lucky I'm so tall, so I carried small and also, I have to say, I had a birth that I was blessed with, a labour that was very good and a baby that was very good to me in that regard

"They say that an easy labour is genetic, so I'm grateful for that because it was beautiful and Keith was my rock through it all. To be given this again is a beautiful thing. To have raised Bella and Connor since I was 25 and now to be able to do it again at 41... wow!"

Nicole Kidman overwhelmed with pressure of motherhood and career

Nicole Kidman is overwhelmed by the pressure of juggling motherhood with her career.

Friends are said to be worried about the actress - who gave birth to daughter Sunday Rose in July - after she slimmed down to 10lbs below her pre-pregnancy weight and collapsed in tears as the strain took its toll.

A source close to the 'Moulin Rouge!' star said: "From the start Nicole seemed determined to lose her baby weight. Just a week after giving birth she had regained her pre-pregnancy figure and dropped nearly all the weight she'd gained while expecting.

"We think she has since dropped 10lbs below her pre-pregnancy weight of 125lbs.

"Nicole started rehearsals for new musical 'Nine' a few weeks after Sunday's birth. She's doing two or three hours of dancing a day. On top of that, she went right back to working out with a trainer, doing yoga and Pilates, as well as swimming and jogging."

Nicole showed her stress during a recent visit with husband Keith Urban to see her family in her home country of Australia.

The source added: "They flew to Sydney for some family time but Nicole broke down in tears within a few hours of landing. She sounds like she's overwhelmed."

Nicole is also said to be struggling to find the time to sleep as she tries to balance work, motherhood and her fitness regime.

The insider said: "I think Nicole wants to be the perfect mum so she always tries to be there when Sunday opens her eyes in the morning, as well as putting her down at night.

"But she doesn't seem to be sneaking in more than four hours sleep a night."

Nicole Kidman to move back to LA

Actress and husband Keith Urban leaving Nashville

Nicole Kidman has convinced husband Keith Urban to relocate from Nashville to LA.

The actress, who gave birth to daughter Sunday Rose two weeks ago, wants to get back on familiar turf.

'Nic initially loved the privacy and peace that was afforded by living in Nashville,’ says a source.

‘But the big trade-off was being totally isolated from work colleagues and friends in LA.

‘She thought it would work, and it was fine for Keith as it's the centre of his world, but it's not a good thing for Nicole, whose agent and major studio are located in LA.'

Nicole, 41, and Keith, 40, have bought a £2.3million mansion in Beverly Hills and plan to up sticks later this year.

The move will allow her to see more of her Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13, the children she adopted with ex husband Tom Cruise, 46.
