Naomi Campbell To Retire

Naomi Campbell is to quit modelling.

The 38-year-old beauty - who is dating Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin - is ready to retire from the fashion industry so she can start a family, and will only grace the catwalk for charity shows.

She said: "It'll be 25 years next year. In terms of fashion shows, I don't really see myself doing every show everywhere.

"I'm a woman and I'd like to be a mother one day."

The London-born supermodel is currently staying in Moscow with Vladislav, and despite being blissfully happy she admits she is missing her home comforts.

It'll be 25 years next year. In terms of fashion shows, I don't really see myself doing every show everywhere.
I'm a woman and I'd like to be a mother one day.
She added to Hello! magazine: "I miss Marks and Spencer - I have to be honest. I just don't like the chocolate as much in America or other places. Britain has the best chocolate."

Naomi and Vladislav - who is nicknamed the 'Donald Trump of Russia' in his home country - began dating last year.

Last August, it was reported the businessman was so smitten with Naomi he splashed out $18.5 million on a penthouse apartment for her in Brazil.

A source said at the time: "Naomi told Vladislav how much she loved Brazil and that she really wanted to settle down there. So he bought her the apartment as a gift. They will use it as their base when they are in Brazil together."

Naomi Campbell: Last year had two benign 9cm tumors removed from her adomen

Naomi Campbell says she had surgery to remove two benign 9cm tumours from her abdomen last year.

And during the op, which took place in Brazil, doctors realised one had leaked.

‘It wasn’t getting them out that was serious,’ she says. ‘It was the infection.’

‘Had I stayed with them in there for a further three months, they said I would have been in danger for my life.’

Naomi, 38, is currently dating Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin, 45, and says she's keen to have kids.

‘I’m not pressuring my partner but I’d love to have a baby,’ she tells The Mail on Sunday.

‘It’s every woman’s dream and I feel that's a huge part of my life that I'm yet to experience.’

Naomi Campbell: Sarah brown encourages me to help charity

Naomi Campbell says meeting Gordon Brown’s wife Sarah opened her eyes to lack of facilities for women giving birth in the Third World.

The model met Sarah to learn about the White Ribbon Alliance, which promotes safer childbirth. The PM's wife lost her daughter Jennifer Jane when she was just 10 days old.

‘When Sarah started talking I though she was going to cry,’ she says. ‘When someone’s talking from experience, it’s very touching.’

Naomi, 38, organised her recent Fashion For Relief show to raise money for the charity.

10,000 women die while giving birth every week, a figure that horrifies Naomi.

‘It’s a huge problem,’ she tells the Daily Mirror. ‘We’re very fortunate but these people don’t have the equipment to deliver a baby.

‘I connected with it, I’m a woman, I’d like to have kids.’

Naomi Campbell new face for Italian label Dolce and Gabbana

British beauty Naomi Campbell has always enjoyed a close relationship with top designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Now the fashion trio will be seeing more of each other after the Streatham-born star signed up to become the new face of their Italian label.

At an age when many supermodels are hanging up their heels, the 38-year-old beauty has reportedly been holding secret talks with the designers in a deal thought to be worth £1 million.

"They have a relationship that spans decades and now the plan is for Naomi to be their official muse and ambassador," a source told the Mail On Sunday newspaper. "She'll be at the shows and will star in their worldwide advertising campaigns."

Long-time good friends, the designers threw the catwalk queen a lavish party in Cannes earlier this year to celebrate her birthday, as well as donating several gowns for her Fashion For Relief charity show last Wednesday.

Naomi Campbell felt a connection to the Great Sphinx of Giza Egyptian landmark

Naomi Campbell felt a spiritual connection to the Great Sphinx of Giza.

The supermodel spoke to the half-lion, half-human Egyptian landmark while on a personal tour conducted by secretary general of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities Zahi Hawass.

Hawass said: "She is particularly interested in the Great Sphinx of Giza. She claims she feels a great spiritual connection to it. I took her to visit and she started talking to it."

However, the acclaimed archaeologist cannot reveal what Naomi said to the decaying statue.

He added: "That is a secret. She wouldn't even tell me."

The bizarre revelation comes shortly after Naomi hit out at Kabbalah - the mystical Jewish faith whose followers include Madonna and Demi Moore - comparing it with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

The tempestuous model said: "I knew about Kabbalah before Madonna got involved. Kabbalah is not a religion, it's a program.

"I don't like getting hooked on things like that. It reminds me of AA but just with different words.

"They've got the same principles. We're all looking for positivity in our lives and looking towards the light but I just believe in God.

"I am religious. I pray most days and do my thing. But each to their own."

Supermodel: Naomi Campbell cradles babies in maternity ward

The broody 38-year-old seemed in her element with the little ones when she dropped in to the maternity ward of a Lagos clinic, accompanied by fellow model Tyson Beckford

We're used to seeing Naomi Campbell sashaying along a catwalk or swanning around on the international party circuit. On a visit to Nigeria this week, though, the glamorous London-born model was showing off a more domestic side as she cradled babies in a maternity ward.

In contrast to her fiery image, the cover girl was a picture of tenderness as she lifted several of the tiny patients at the Lagos clinic out of their cribs for a hug. Time spent with the children of friends like Kate Moss - whose daughter Lila is five - seems to have paid dividends, as Naomi supported one newborn in the crook of her arm with an expert touch.

The catwalk star has been talking lately about her readiness to become a mother. "I know that with a baby I'd calm down," said the supermodel, who recently embarked upon a new relationship with a millionaire businessman. "With a child... you have to give your full self."

Her companion on the trip, during which she distributed sackloads of gifts to expectant and new mums, was model Tyson Beckford. The photogenic pair were in the country to attend the This Day Africa Rising concert, which aimed to show the continent in a positive light.

On October 14 another Africa Rising gig is being held in London's Albert Hall and Naomi has called on pals like Kate, Lily Cole and footballer Ferdinand Rio to give the event their backing.

Naomi Campbell: Chillin’ in Ibiza

It’s one of the hottest spots for celebrities to escape their hectic lives and yesterday (August 11) Naomi Campbell was spotted enjoying the Spanish island of Ibiza.

The beautiful supermodel and her family have been vacationing in the Spanish Mediterranean Islands this week, living in the lap of luxury. Miss Campbell, along with boyfriend Marcus Elias and friends were spotted piling into a dingy boat getting ready to hit the high seas.

Once in the boat, they headed off to a much larger yacht that was anchored offshore for some fun in the sun and swimming to pass the time.

And Naomi looked summertime sexy in a white bikini underneath a holly white cover-up dress with superstar shades and sandals.

Naomi Campbell: Victoria Beckham was there for me

Spice Girl supported model during tough times

Naomi Campbell says Victoria Beckham helped her through her recent troubles.

Posh, 34, called the supermodel straight away when she was sentenced for an air rage incident in June.

‘When I was going through my hard time recently she was immediately on the phone, asking me how I was doing and saying, “I hope you’re well,”’ Naomi tells the Daily Mirror. ‘She was very sweet.’

Naomi, 38, says they often call each other for a chat.

‘[We speak] pretty regularly about normal mundane stuff,’ she says.

‘We share girly stuff and she is so funny – people just don’t know her or get her.’

Naomi Campbell Fights With Maids at Russian Hotel

Naomi Campbell is at it again.

The model refused to pay a $400 bill at a Moscow hotel after burns were found on the silk sheets in her suite, reports the Daily Mail.

Campbell was on vacation with her billionaire boyfriend, Vladislav Doronin, when staff at the Ritz Carlton asked her to pay for damaged sheets.

The website reports that hotel maids found silk sheets that had burn holes in them, apparently from cigarettes or candles.

The hotel worker said, “As soon as they found the burnt sheets, the managers at our hotel rushed back to Naomi’s people. But she sent back a message saying we were being ridiculous and there was no way she would pay any fee.”

Campbell allegedly told staff that any damage should be covered by the room bill.

Campbell’s rep told CelebTV.com this story is “completely untrue.”

Naomi Campbell heats up the French Riviera

Removed from the list of celebrity presenters at Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday celebration, model Naomi Campbell decided to take avantage of her suddenly open schedule with a trip to the French Riviera.

On Saturday morning (June 28), the fiery catwalk queen was spotted arriving at the Club 55 beach in St Tropez with boyfriend, Brazilian entrepreneur Marcus Elias.

Sporting a hot black bikini, Campbell continued her French Riviera vacation on Flavio Briatore’s boat - at one point ending up in a heated conversation on her cell phone. Fortunately enough, there wasn’t anyone nearby she could throw it at!

As for her removal from Mandela’s guest list - the blacklisting occurred following her latest arrest at Heathrow Airport, when “she was wearing a baseball hat featuring Mr Mandela’s Robben Island prison number and Aids charity moniker 46664.”

A source close to the concert told press that it was “fair to say that Mandela was behind the decision.”

Naomi Campbell: I was the victim in airport incident

Supermodel says she was provoked in attack at Terminal 5

Naomi Campbell has defended her outburst at Heathrow Airport in April.

The supermodel was arrested for assaulting 2 police officers after her bags went missing at the troubled Terminal 5.

But Naomi – who is accused of kicking and spitting at the cops - insists she was provoked.

‘I was called a racial name on that flight,’ she says. '[It was] nothing to do with the police but British Airways. I was called a golliwog supermodel.'

But the 38-year-old admits her tantrum was out of order.

'I’m proud to be a black woman, I’m proud to be British, I’m proud of the job that I do but I did not call anyone names of colour, of their race,' she tells Sky News.

'At the end of the day, my upset and wrath came out on the police, which was wrong.'

Naomi, 38, pleaded guilty to 2 counts of assault, 1 count of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and using threatening, abusive words or behaviour to cabin crew.

She has been ordered to do 200 hours' community service within the next 12 months, pay £200 compensation to each the officers she assaulted, £150 compensation to the aircraft captain and fines totalling £2,300 and a £15 surcharge.

A spokesman for BA denies any wrongdoing: ‘British Airways does not accept any allegations of racism. We are proud of our diversity.’

This will be the model's second stint of community service. Last year, Naomi served 5 days' as a cleaner in New York as punishment for throwing a mobile at her housekeeper.

Naomi Campbell blames air rage on racist slur

Supermodel Naomi Campbell, who pled guilty to assault in an "air rage" incident, said racist comments by British Airways crew were the impetus of her attack.

"I was called a racial name on that flight," Campbell told Sky News. "I was called a golliwog supermodel, I don't think that's really fair do you? Would you like it if someone turned round and called you a golliwog supermodel?"

She declined to state who made the alleged slur, but did say it was a British Airways worker, not another passenger.

Campbell said that she did not address the alleged comments in court or in her statement because, "...at the end of the day the real problem was, I took my upset and my, the end of my wrath came out on the police, which was wrong."

British Airways released a statement denying the accusation.

"British Airways does not accept any allegations of racism. We are proud of our diversity," the statement said. "We have strict policies concerning dignity at work and have long-standing training programs on diversity and inclusion."

Campbell was convicted Friday and sentenced to 200 hours of unpaid community service for assaulting two police officers (who were attempting to escort her off the airplane) and a public order offense. She was also ordered to pay compensations to one of the police officers and the captain of the plane, as well as a fine.

It will not be Campbell's first time performing community service for her temper. Just last year she spent five days in New York doing janitorial-type work as part of a sentence for throwing her cell phone at a housekeeper over an argument about a pair of jeans.

She also pled guilty to assault in 2000, in yet another incident involving a telephone.

Naomi Campbell faces jail over assault and foul-mouthed tirade

The supermodel Naomi Campbell was facing a possible jail term today after pleading guilty to kicking and spitting at police officers during an air rage incident aboard an aircraft waiting to take off from Heathrow airport.

A court heard that the 38-year-old screamed foul-mouthed abuse at the captain of a British Airways flight after being told one of her bags had gone missing during the luggage chaos at the newly-opened Terminal 5 in April.

Campbell ordered the captain to get off the plane and look for her suitcase, holding up the flight bound for Los Angeles for almost an hour. When cabin crew eventually called police to remove her she refused to get off the plane and accused them of targeting her because she was black.

The model pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting a police officer, one count of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and using threatening, abusive words or behaviour to cabin crew during an appearance at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court in west London.

Before adjourning to consider its sentence, the court heard the details of the events at Heathrow. Campbell could be jailed for up to six months and/or fined up to £5,000 for each count of assault.

Melanie Parrish, prosecuting, told the court that Campbell was a first class passenger on the BA flight on April 3 this year and cabin crew said initially she was very friendly and professional.

She said that Captain Miles Sutherland had been advised that not all the baggage had been loaded due to the teething problems at the new terminal.

The court heard he made a routine check with the passengers on board the flight telling passengers there may be a slight delay because of the baggage problems.

Miss Parrish said: "Miss Campbell, having heard this, approached the cabin crew and asked them to make inquiries about the state of her baggage.

"Regrettably it was confirmed one of her items was one of those not loaded. Having heard that Miss Campbell had been affected by the baggage difficulties, he took the unusual decision to come and speak with her and explain the situation and make his apologies."

The court was told Campbell became upset and demanded to know where her bag was and started using her mobile phone. Meanwhile the captain began to go through her options with her.

Miss Parrish said: "To say that this process was difficult would be something of an understatement. Miss Campbell made no attempt to listen to him and talked over him, stating: ’I don’t want to hear’."

The model was then heard to say on her phone: "They have lost my f****** bags, get me another flight, get the press, get me my lawyer."

The court heard Campbell continued to shout at Capt Sutherland, saying: "I can’t believe you have lost my f****** bag. Bring me my f****** bags now."

Miss Parrish said: "She instructed him to personally get off the aircraft and get her bag and show it to her. The captain explained this wasn’t going to happen. He repeatedly tried to take control of the situation and asked if he could get a word in."

The magistrates were told that when Capt Sutherland tried to explain her options, Campbell snapped: "How dare you tell me what my options are? You are not leaving until you find my f****** bags."

As the captain walked away Campbell shouted after him: "You are a racist, you wouldn’t be doing this if I was white."

The court was told a cabin services director and a BA special operative trained to deal with difficult situations were called to the aircraft but had little success.

Miss Parrish said: "Miss Campbell was clearly upset and explained to them the reason why this was so awful for her was that she was contracted to wear a particular Yves Saint Laurent outfit on a US chat show and it was in the bag that hadn’t been loaded."

She told the court that Campbell again began to shout and swear and was told that her language was unacceptable and there were families and children on board.

A spokeswoman for British Airways said today: "We take all cases of disruptive behaviour extremely seriously and take action where appropriate. We have banned people from travelling with us in the past and we reserve the right to ban passengers."

BA would not comment specifically on the Campbell case, but it is understood that the supermodel has been banned by the airline.

Naomi Campbell is going bald

Supermodel Naomi Campbell probably won’t be advertising any hair products these days, since it appears the model is going bald.

In a photo obtained by CelebTV.com, the fiery supermodel appears to be losing her weave. In the picture, she exposes a dramatically receding hairline as she leaves the New York restaurant Cipriani.

Recently, a former photographer who worked with Campbell told the U.K.’s The Sun that her hair has been falling out for years.

“That’s been happening for a while. The hair stylist Sam McKnight said to me in the ‘90s, ‘She’d better be careful with those weaves, she’s going to lose her hair,’” the fashion photographer told the paper.

The 38-year-old supermodel was charged last month with assaulting two police officers during an alleged luggage rage incident at Heathrow Airport.

She was recently photographed with a new beau that British papers identify as a Brazilian businessman.

Naomi Campbell Hospitalized

Everyone's favorite British supermodel has-been Naomi Campbell was hospitalized in Sao Paulo, Brazil for the removal of a small cyst. Big deal. Does anyone really care about her that much anymore? With Gisele, Petra, Tyra, and Kate - do we really still need the cell phone throwin' model making headlines anymore?

The details of her hospitalization are a little hazy but she seems to be alright.

The model's gynecologist said Campbell underwent an emergency abdominal surgery: “I cannot reveal what Naomi had, nor how serious her condition was, but I can say I operated on her yesterday and that she is completely cured.”

We wish her well!

Naomi Campbell's Will Be Making Fun Of Herself

Naomi Campbell is to star in a commercial mocking her own anger management problems.

The supermodel - who carried out five days community service cleaning New York streets as punishment for throwing her mobile phone at her maid - filmed the advert for Dunkin' Donuts yesterday (18.06.07).

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "In the script Naomi is gardening in an evening dress. Something goes wrong, she gets frustrated, and she flips out.

"She then takes her shoe off and throws it through a window. Next to her is a Martha Stewart type who is calm, cool and collected, thanks to her frozen Dunkin' Donuts drink."

Naomi Campbell Models Community Service Outfit

I've never had to do community service before but all I know is that I wouldn't be modeling the outfit nor be as happy as Naomi Campbell to be doing it.

Naomi Campbell, the model accused of assaulting a former maid with a mobile phone, are negotiating with prosecutors in New York in an effort to avoid a trial - and the possibility of a long prison term - in exchange for agreeing to community service.
