Armstrong Comes Out of Retirement

Cyclist Lance Armstrong announced that he will be coming out of retirement and is shooting for an eight win at the Tour de France.

"I have decided to return to professional cycling in order to raise awareness of the global cancer burden," the seven-time Tour de France champion said in a statement issued by his LiveStrong Foundation.

Armstrong said in an interview with Vanity Fair that is certain that he will compete in the Tour de France next summer.

"I'm going back to professional cycling," he said in the interview. "I'm going to try and win an eighth Tour de France."

The cyclist said that he will not comment further until September 24, when he will formally announce his return to pro-cycling at a Clinton Global Initiative event.

Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong Call It Quit

Lance Armstrong may be getting on his bike and riding off into the sunset after a three-month romance with Kate Hudson.

The pair, who went public in May, have ended their relationship, Us Weekly reports.

“There was no drama or ugliness – They just decided to end things,” an insider told the magazine. “There is no hatred, just sadness.”

Things seemed to be perfect after Kate Hudson and her son Ryder, 4, were spotted hanging with current beau Lance Armstrong and the father of her child, ex Chris Robinson, in May.

The couple are said to have severed ties after a three-day event for the cyclest last weekend.

The 29-year-old actress and 36-year-old cyclist have been inseparable for the past few months.

The pair’s reps could not be immediately reached for comment.

Yet another celebrity couple is calling it quits. Three months after they got together, Lance Armstrong and Kate Hudson announced that they are ending their relationship.

A source said the two have not been any hostility between the two.

Continuing to spend each and every day together, Kate Hudson and boyfriend Lance Armstrong took his children (Luke and twins Isabelle and Grace) to the park on Monday (July 7).

According to sources on the scene, the group was there for a summer tennis camp, although it looks as if Miss Hudson got dragged into a little exercise herself - being pushed about by Lance's daughters.

The family park visit comes on the heels of a weekend that included a Fourth of July party at Courteney Cox's house and a Santa Monica shopping trip with the twins.

And even though the "Fool's Gold" actress only began dating the seven-time Tour de France champion back in May, there's already speculation mounting that Kate is well on the way to becoming the next Mrs Armstrong.

I love this picture! The NY Times recently published an article about the playboy status of bicycle champion, Lance Armstrong. Besides beating cancer and being an amazing athlete, Lance doesn't have much trouble in the lady department either.

Lance has been featured in many tabloids over the past year or two pictured with various Hollywood starlets. People.com even called him, "a notorious Texas playboy."

Lance has been previously linked to Sienna Miller, Mary-Kate Olsen, Sheryl Crow and his latest romantic tie is to actress Kate Hudson.
