Kate Middleton New Favorite of Designers
The future wife of Prince William is rapidly becoming a favorite of fashion designers, including Giorgio Armani. Kate Middleton’s fashion style was described by Armani as “highly aware of fashion trends.” While Armani won’t be designing Kate’s wedding dress, he will be designing one for another future princess when Charlene Wittstock marries Monaco’s Prince Albert in July of this year.
Other admirers of Kate Middleton’s style include Karl Lagerfeld, who has described her as chic, beautiful, and elegant. He also lauded the trend toward royalty marrying partners who are not of royal blood, declaring it “better for the generation to come.” Lagerfeld described Middleton as “a very well-balanced and a happy person. She is chic in a way the position needs.”

Kate Middleton Keeping Designer Secret
One of the biggest mysteries in the fashion industry at the moment is who will make the dress that Kate Middleton will wear when she weds Prince William in April. And Kate’s not saying. She does not want to announce the designer until her wedding day, so that the dress is a surprise to her future husband as well.
Reports had surfaced that British fashion designer Bruce Oldfield had been picked to make the dress, but that is a matter of some debate. Designer Ben de Lisi says that it’s not him. Other than that, little is known other than the fact that earlier in January Kate’s sister and mother were seen meeting with Bruce Oldfield at his store in London.

Suggestions Begin on Royal Wedding Hairstyle
Next year’s wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton is sure to be a fashion industry frenzy of speculation, and in fact, there’s already plenty of opinion about the look Kate should go for on the big day. Two of London’s leading hair stylists have given their opinions, and both agree that she should wear her hair up for the wedding.
Karine Jackson, a legendary London West End stylist says that wearing her hair down will take away from the dress and Kate’s lovely face. She suggests an updo with “luscious bouncy curls suspended at the back of her head.” Stylist Errol Douglas suggests a classic chignon, and thinks it would look better without a veil, but with other “gorgeous accessories.”
