Beyonce Knowles has broken her silence on her marriage.

The singer has previously refused to discuss her relationship with rapper Jay-Z, who she married in a secret ceremony in April but has now opened up about their "real" love.

Beyonce insists her husband - real name Shawn Carter - loves all her "flaws", adding to Essence magazine: "What Jay and I have is real. It's not about the interviews or getting the right photo op. It's real."

The 27-year-old singer also revealed she wants to be remembered for changing the world.

She explained: "I want to be acknowledged as a woman in a very talented group with great harmonies and great songs that made history and changed the culture of women, not only in America but all over the world. A woman who could sing a cappella and write her own songs and produce her own songs."

Beyonce previously claimed things would get "messy" if she spoke about her personal life in interviews.

She said: "I never talked about relationships. I only talk about them in my songwriting, otherwise things get too messy. It has worked out because now nobody expects me to talk about them. But it's hard too. You fall in love and you want to tell everybody. But that's a place I just don't go."

The 'Crazy in Love' star showed off her £2.5 million diamond wedding ring for the first time last weekend while enjoying a day at the beach with younger sister Solange.

Jay-Z says he does hope to have kids in the near future.

The rapper, who secretly wed Beyoncé Knowles, 27, in April - insists he's like any normal guy.

‘Most people I guess dream of having a family someday,’ he said at the Global Leadership Awards Gala in New York.

'So I'm just a regular American boy.'

But for now, he's concentrating on his volunteer work to bring clean water to young children in Africa.

‘I've given to charities in the past and you close your eyes and cross your fingers and hope that the money gets there,' he says.

‘With this I got to go to Africa, I got to see the water pumps, I got to touch it. I got to see the kids turn them on.

'Tonight, I don't know what I'm doing here, I'm rewarded already.’

Jay-Z, 38, was honoured for his charity work at the event, held at Waldorf-Astoria Hotel earlier this week.

Jay-Z has proposed to long-term love Beyoncé Knowles.

The hip-hop star popped the question during a romantic getaway to Cannes, and the singer-and-actress said yes.

The pair are now planning to marry in Hawaii in the autumn.
Beyoncé said: "I want to get married and really want a family - in a perfect world I'd have two boys and a girl.

"You know someone loves you by the way he treats you and respects you. Me and Jay respect each other."

Jay-Z flew to London last night (03.06.07) to watch Beyoncé perform at Wembley on the latest leg of her UK tour.

The 37-year-old hip-hop mogul even canceled his own promotional tour of his business empire Roc-A-Fella to surprise his 25-year-old fiancée.

Sources say Jay-Z promised Beyonce "the biggest diamond she can fit on her finger".

A source said: "This will be the hip-hop wedding to end all hip-hop weddings."

She tells US Magazine. "I love Rocawear. The clothes are so cute. The stuff is great. I am so happy to be able to do the campaign."

Teenage R&B singer Rihanna has lost her good girl image thanks to Ne-Yo and rapper Shawn 'Jay-Z' Carter.

The Barbadian born star chose the title of her latest album Good Girl Gone Bad to warn fans she's not so innocent anymore.

The SOS hitmaker credits working alongside Jay-Z, owner of Def Jam Records, and singer/songwriter Ne-Yo for helping her shake off her good girl status.

She tells MTV, "We figured Good Girl Gone Bad was the perfect title because it showed people I'm my own (person) now. Not doing what anyone wants me to do."

Beyoncé, who teamed up with Shakira to record new track 'Beautiful Liar', admits the Colombian singer created most of their raunchy routine.

The 'Bootylicious' singer told People magazine: "Shakira taught me how to belly dance, she taught me the whole routine. I used to watch her videos and I thought she was so cool. When she was teaching me the moves I thought, 'This is crazy, Shakira is showing me how to belly dance!'

"I got the best teacher. We didn't have a lot of time to come up with the choreography - most of it was done on the spot. I was just watching her and learning from her. It was so much fun, the best energy. She was really easy to work with, so sweet and humble."

Beyonce Knowles treated boyfriend Jay-Z to a romantic Mexican getaway after reports suggested their romance is in trouble.

Amid reports the pair is on the verge of splitting, the sexy singer took the hip hop mogul to Punta de Mita, Mexico, where she booked into an exclusive $11,000-a-night villa.

And there was a further surprise in store for Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter - Beyonce whisked him off to see his favorite group Coldplay in concert in Mexico City.

Fellow holiday-makers claim Beyonce and Jay-Z looked happier than ever: "They were constantly hugging, smiling and looking very in love."

The singer-turned-actress has earned millions during her hugely successful career but admits she isn't comfortable being super-rich.

Beyoncé, who is reported to have made around $16 million last year alone, told Pride magazine: "I never imagined I would be so blessed. I just wanted to be financially stable and it embarrasses me. I don't feel comfortable talking or thinking about it. I'm not a flashy girl, and I don't flaunt it."

Meanwhile, Beyoncé's long-term lover Jay-Z has made himself even richer this week.

The rap mogul is selling his clothing company Rocawear to the Iconix Brand Group for a whopping $204 million.

Although Jay-Z is selling the company, he will remain in charge of all product development, marketing and licensing for the fashion business, which reportedly has annual retail sales in excess of $700 million.

Jay-Z said: "Iconix is pioneering a new brand management model and by combining Rocawear with their platform, my team and I can focus on our strengths in design and lifestyle."

Jay-Z's Stalker Surfaces on Dr. Phil

I’ve been stalking Jay-Z more than three years,” Katrina says matter-of-factly. “Jay-Z is the CEO of Def Jam [Records]. He’s a big celebrity. In my mind he’s more than that. He is just my dream. I can’t seem to think of anybody else. He is my all and all." Katrina buys every magazine Jay-Z is in, has called him over 300 times and e-mails him 200 times a day, but he has never responded. She even had a T-shirt made up with Jay-Z's and her picture, that she says she sleeps in every night. "Jay-Z’s real name is Shawn Corey Carter. When I’m writing songs, I would just call him Shawn. I make up my own songs and leave them on his voice mail," she shares. "I went to a Web site that has gossip, and they believe anything you say. I e-mailed them a letter, saying I wasJay-Z’s ex. I also went as far as saying Jay-Z liked me better than [his girlfriend] Beyoncé. He’s in love with me," she reveals. "Everything was made up."

Katrina's friends have pointed out that she'll never be able to take Jay-Z from Beyoncé. "I don’t care. To me, I am Beyoncé. I am every man’s dream. I’m accomplishing it by just looking in the mirror and saying, ‘Jay-Z’s going to be my man,’" she says. Katrina explains that when she heard a rumor that Jay-Z proposed to Beyoncé, she snapped and tore all his pictures up.
"I want to see Beyoncé and Jay-Z one day in public and just go there and snatch her weave out.” Della says, “Katrina is a stalker. Katrina needs a reality check. She needs to get her life together. I’m scared she’s going to get charges pressed against her and end up in jail.”

Katrina admits, “I’ve been stalking people my whole life. When someone rejects me, I get obsessed with that person. When I was 9, it was this man who went to my church, and I just had a huge crush on him. I called him over 100 times in one day.’”


Katrina describes her stalking expertise. “If you want to get next to Jay-Z, go through his close associates: his best friend, his cousin, his sister. Everyone who is close to Jay-Z, I’ve stalked,” Katrina admits. "My ex-boyfriend thought I was just nuts. And he got to the point where, ‘You choose me or Jay-Z,’ and I chose Jay-Z.”

Katrina tells Dr. Phil that she realizes, "It's something that I need to address.”

Dr. Phil points out that Katrina even stalked one of Jay-Z’s employees and sent her up to 200 e-mails a day.

“I would think if she knew Jay and was close to Jay, and if I talked to her, then I would be closer to Jay,” Katrina explains.

Dr. Phil mentions that Katrina can’t even spend time with her family, because she has to be home to check her e-mail in case Jay-Z responds. He shows Katrina a photo of Jay-Z and Beyoncé. “Is that painful for you to look at?” he asks.

“I just think he’s better off with me, because to me, she’s just fake, and she’s not giving her all and all to him," Katrina says.

“There’s just something not right about her?" Dr. Phil questions, reminding her that she is writing numerous e-mails to man she's never met.

“Well, I feel if I did meet him, that he would want me,” she says.

Dr. Phil tells her she’s obsessed with the unattainable. “If Jay-Z was going to meet a million people, you wouldn’t be on the list, because you’re on what’s called a watch list. You show up, and you’re going to be gone.’”

Katrina doesn’t respond.

Dr. Phil addresses Katrina’s dislike of Jay-Z’s relationship with Beyoncé. “What gives you the right to inject yourself in somebody’s life?" he asks.

"I just know that he would like what he sees if he were to see me," Katrina says.
