Courteney Cox Says Separation Does Not Necessarily Mean Divorce

Courteney Cox, who has been the subject of much celebrity news and gossip lately, says that just because she and husband David Arquette have separated, they’re not necessarily getting a divorce. She told TV Week, “I don't know what will happen, but this is not like we're getting divorced."

Cox, whose striking black hair and blue eyes have make up her unique celebrity fashion style, is close friends with Jennifer Aniston, and she says their friendship has been a real blessing. “We’re inseparable and it’s great,” she told UsWeekly. Aniston, who went through a divorce with Brad Pitt several years ago, has been “amazing,” according to Cox, her long time friend since the two starred together on the hit television show Friends.

Courteney said: "Yes, I do bring things home. It's time to catch up, because when you have been working together, you don't really have time to talk about what happened.

"At dinner, there is a lot of catching up to do, even though we have seen each other most of the day. It's weird."

While the 43-year-old admits she is very different to David, Courteney insists their contrasting personalities make the show more interesting.

She explained: "David and I are very different, and have different creative choices and different creative views.

"He is really left of centre - it's amazing what he comes up with. I'm good with emotions and psychology of people. He is good with other creative aspects - like thinking up Don's hallucinations. Don is a paparazzo who is schizophrenic."

Courteney Cox Pays 20 million For A Wrecked House

Courteney Cox has paid almost $20 million for a wrecked house overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The actress, who has a passion for interior design and house renovation, jumped at the chance to buy the cliff-top estate because it's an amazing piece of land, with stunning views and total privacy.

One realtor tells American magazine In Touch, "This is an incredible piece of coastline, but the house is far from luxurious."

Cox and husband David Arquette's current Malibu, California home is on the market for $33.5 million, six years after she paid $10.2 million for it.

According to In Touch, the new cliff-top estate features five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, two guesthouses, a hot tub and a beach cabana. That doesn't sound like a wreck to me!

Angelina Jolie, standing a few steps away, finally gave an awkward hello before leading Pitt away.

There Will Not Be A Friends Reunion

Courteney Cox has disappointed fans of the hit US TV show by admitting it would be impossible to get the six stars back together.

She said: "There's going to be no 'Friends' reunion.

"It's too hard to get everyone together. The writers are doing their thing, and I just can't see it happening - not that I wouldn't do it, because it would be fun."

While Courteney, 42, has no plans to work with Lisa Kudrow, Matt Le Blanc, David Schwimmer or Matthew Perry, she is desperate to find a part in her new TV show 'Dirt' for her favourite friend Jennifer Aniston.

Courteney, who was speaking at the Television Critics Association conference in Pasadena, said: "Jennifer loves the show. She's already like, 'What am I going to do?' "We were like, 'OK, if you came on the show, would you want to play yourself, or do we write a fantastic character for you, or you know maybe you take Dirt down?' We will think of something good. She will come on for sure!"

Jennifer Aniston is also keen to make a guest appearance on the show.

She said: "I would love to get involved in 'Dirt' - if I was invited. Just to be able to work with my girl again! We have talked about it, we've danced around it."

In 'Dirt', Courteney stars as the editor-in-chief of a Los Angeles-based tabloid magazine.
