Looking for a way to completely cause a gorgeous girl to drop down to a 0 on the beauty scale? Shave only one side of your head! What did r&b singer Cassie do to herself? Only Britney Spears could pull off this look back when she was crazy.

"Sometimes in life, you need a change,” Cassie blogged. “Something that displays the 'I don’t give a f—' attitude that was always present, but never showcased. Something deeper than what you thought you were capable of. And something that will shock your mother, but make her call you a ROCK STAR."

Hmm, well, in some ways, I admire her statement. It sounds to us like she's looking for some media attention. Has shaving your head become the latest celeb PR scheme to get their names out there!?

It's sad when a wanna be rocker makes a half-way attempt at being knock-off Britany Spears. Then again, this is a little lesson in self-promotion. Call it Attention Getting 101. Little known singer Cassie whom hasn't hit paydirt since her 2004 single Me & U. After losing her lable and no more music producers to play... shave your head!

If you are gonna shave your head... get both sides! The upside to humanity, even her own fans are disgusted with the move. Making the best of her stunt, she posted a tweet in an advanced effort to answer the obvious press question -- And why? Here are her blow by blow attention seeking tweets:

Let me translate all this for you. She shaved her head for attention. Promoted herself through her twitter account until people paid attention and then of course redefined the reason for the press after it got picked up by mainstream gossip mag's like People. Folks.... that is how it's done. There is no such news as bad press, just spell the name right.

The best news of all is that if she doesn't want to wait for her hair to grow back, all she has to do is continue to face right. ... or left... You get the idea!
