AUBREY O’DAY has stripped off for Playboy – and she’s doing it all for a good cause.

The former DANITY KANE singer is pictured in a series of nude and risqué shots in the new issue of HUGH HEFNER’S magazine.

In one she dons a black bikini that leaves little to the imagination. In another she wears only a necklace, stockings and pair of Louboutin heels, as she lays back on a huge golden couch.

Talking of the shoot, Aubrey said: “We constantly feel the need to not say this or not wear this or do that, and taking it all off and being nude is the most natural state that you can be in.

“Being able to feel comfortable with that and show that sex can be a beautiful, comfortable - your sexuality can be a beautiful, comfortable thing - is going to be empowering for people.

“If people saw sex and sexuality in that empowering way in society then we'd have less AIDS, less STDs, less teen pregnancy and less girl-on-girl hate.”

Say goodbye to two ladies of 'Making The Band!' In the MTV show's finale, we saw two members of Diddy's female r&b group Danity Kane, Aubrey O'Day and D. Woods get the axe! There's always crazy drama on that reality show, I'm not surprised!

Some critics are saying it was just a ploy from P. Diddy to keep making more money off the show and the band and that eventually he'll bring the members back. Wouldn't put it passed them, seems like a good marketing plan to me! Their single, "Damaged," was a huge summer hit this year.

Aubrey O'Day: Can't shake being mistaken for Paris Hilton!

Danity Kane’s Aubrey O’Day may be rising in her own right, but she can’t shake being mistaken for that other young, rich, blonde – Paris Hilton.

“Whenever I carry my dog around, people say ‘Paris Hilton,’ ” she tells OK! at the Traitor premiere in N.Y.C. on Thursday. “That’s horrible because I absolutely love my dog and I’m nothing like that girl. Like, nobody can have a dog? I think any white girl with blonde hair who carries around a dog is compared to Paris Hilton.”

The "Damaged" singer continues, “I’m not concerned with who people think I am. I’m just concerned that people know who I am.”

While Paris, 27, dates Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden, Aubrey, 24, is single and prefers men like Don Cheadle. “He’s so f------ sexy,” she says. “I love him.”

While Paris has a sex tape, Aubrey’s pals like to razz her for being solo.

“Someone sent me a male blowup doll one time for my birthday because I was single and not getting any,” she tells OK! “They felt like they would amuse me by sending me some plastic, which did me no good. So it’s still sitting at home. His name is Charles, after my stylist, because he’s got impeccable style.”

Ashley Parker Angel and Aubrey O-Day Are Not A Couple!

A few weeks after calling off his engagement to model Tiffany Lynn, Ashley Parker Angel was tied up in rumors that he was dating his new Hairspray co-star Ashley Parker Angel. That didn't take long!

Aubrey O'Day is slamming the In Touch report that she's “hooking up” with Parker Angel. "The story is completely false," O'Day, 24, tells Usmagazine.com.

"I am having a great time with my co-star on stage and there has never been a romantic relationship at all."

As for Ashley's broken relationship with his son's mother, Tiffany, his rep says, "The two remain close friends as they raise their two-year old son Lyric together."

Aubrey O'Day's Begins 'Hairspray'

The lead singer for Danity Kane has taken on the role of Amber Von Tussle in the Broadway version of Hairspray. Look at that hair!

O'Day joins former O-Town boy band member, Ashley Parker Angel in the show. Remember his reality show on MTV, There & Back Again? I don't really know what happened to that poor guy, he sort of made a comeback. I don't know!
