Katherine Heigl features prominently in the latest celeb news, as she has a brand new movie opening this weekend. Life as We Know It stars Heigl as a woman unexpectedly thrust into parenthood. She stars opposite Josh Duhamel. Heigl became a parent in real life just before filming started, thrusting her into the role of motherhood quicker than she expected. She recently told OK Magazine, “The adoption of my baby from Korea went on ahead of schedule, and my daughter, Naleigh, arrived weeks before we began filming.”
Heigl and her husband, musician Josh Kelley, are parents of daughter Naleigh. Besides learning the ropes of motherhood, Heigl is also tackling another tough job: quitting smoking with the aid of an electronic cigarette.
