According to the Daily Mail, Gwen sent David, Madonna's adopted son, a package of L.A.M.B baby clothes, which was turned down by Madonna.Madonna didn't want the clothes because she thought it was an act of publicity for Gwen's clothing brand.
A source told the paper: "[Madonna] politely thanked Gwen but called her to say she and Guy disagree on the children wearing clothes that blatantly promote people's personal brands. She was touched but wasn't sure if Gwen was secretly trying to get publicity by sending her the gift."
That's a pretty concieted way of thinking. Madonna has been thinking way too much of herself lately. First the slam on UN Ambassadors, Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman, and now this. She really thinks she's better than everyone else. It's a shame.
She may have just lost Gwen Stafani as a friend with this act.
Who is she to reject a kind gesture?
